Do you guys know if the lines at the sides of the screen protector is a problem that happens with the new 3ds XL?

Hopefully no. Nintendo would have been dumb as hell to not look a this problem. It's probably not even an issue with the regular XL anyway.
IIRC, the "lines" are actually shallow gouges in the screen caused by being pressed against the raised edges of the touchscreen, and (IIRC) The XL and "New" 3DSes have little rubber tabs that prevent the two halves from every completely contacting one another, meaning they shouldn't have that issue.

Awesome!
So I finally got around to finishing Xenoblade. I got really far some time ago, but never beat it because my Wii fell over and irreparably scratched the disk while it was running.
I have to say... I can't WAIT to see some of those last few scenes in 3D. Holy shit. Holy SHIT.

ENORMOUS XENOBLADE SPOILER WARNING
[sp]Also, I can't be the only one who had a feeling from relatively early on that it was all either a sub-universe or a computer simulation, can I? Turned out I was half right on both.[/sp]
So I just finished MM3D after getting the Fierce Deity Mask (which I didn't get on any of my original playthroughs) and holy shit does it make the final battle anticlimactic. I beat all of Majora's formes in under a minute while not losing more than 1 heart. The whole fight can literally be done by holding L and spamming B. I'll probably go back and fight him regularly because man, that was way too easy, even for a thing that requires so much before you can obtain it.
Majora was never difficult to begin with, Fierce Deity is pretty much overkill on that part.

You are literally turning into a god and stomping a weaker one into the fucking dirt, it's not supposed to be a fight when you put on the FD mask. It's supposed to be a slaughter.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't think Nintendo really intended for a player to get all of the masks, at least not on their first go. The masks are pretty well hidden and the game is super cryptic about where they are. FD mask is supposed to be your reward for solving all of the bullshit.
When I played on the N64, Majora was either a stompfest (Fierce Deity) or incredibly obnoxious (normal). There really was no middle ground.

It's basically that in Hyrule Warriors.
Young Link/Fierce Deity is stronger then any other character because he can exchange his SP for Magic and keep FD for extend periods of times and it just wrecks maps like no tomorrow. Thought I like the way they named the weapons. It's basically a different state of Deity. Fierce, Furious and Vengeful Deity.
Also, am I the only one who likes to feign the fact that I know a game and just play as if I have to find out what's happening by talking to every single NPC?
I even discovered by accident that both Trading Post workers in MM reacts differently to some of the masks you wear. I like these tiny details.
One of my favorites is the Treasure Game owner who hits on Goron Link like no tomorrow because of how big and muscular he is. And when you refuse to play again, she doesn't mind and goes "BTW you're just my type".

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite, she's just buttering up the customer. She makes Goron you pay the most out of all the transformations, at 30 rupees; Zora Link pays 10, and regular pays 20, iirc.
Is Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask 3DS still worth playing if I already finished the originals on the N64? I've considered getting them but I'm unsure.
So the decal I was going to buy for my N3DS XL would arrive in between one and two months.
Yeah...
Is there a way to get faster shipment on eBay? They are sending it from China, and it's free shipping, but I wouldn't have a problem paying more for getting it sooner.

Could be that too. One of the Bombers rumors related to her says that she's into big muscular dudes.

Not only that but in the 64 version she would hit on Zora Link as opposed to the other transformations.

yes but gives the best prize to him though
How easy is Majoras Mask to play? is it just the same as OoT as I've never played it before and the thing with the time is what is stopping me from buying it, even though so many people have said its nothing to worry about.
What I'm trying to say is, can I play it without having to use a guide to hold my hand through it all?

I'm at the second dungeon now and haven't used a guide. Some things are a bit cryptic but it's doable. The puzzle part of the game is what makes it fun.
Plus, even with the implied time limit, you still have all the time in the world (through retries and halving its passage) to figure things out. Go ahead, experiment and explore if you get stuck; there's no real punishment for doing so, and you might stumble onto just what you need to advance.
Finally got my hands on the remake. Cool that you can still get a heart container in the first cycle.

Yes, the visual will give a new breath of life to the game , and for Ocarina of Time 3D you get a even harder Master Quest (Mirrored + 2x Damage taken) too if you never played it before. Majora's Mask 3D you will notice some stuff that you'll probably won't like that they changed it,but its not game breaking so you'll enjoy more of the improvements they made especially with the last 2 dungeon bosses.
Count me a million years late, but it only just occurred to me that the [sp]Moon level[/sp] in Majora looks a lot like the cover art of this game.

Considering what it represents, I'm surprised I never made the connection before.
I thought it was pretty cool, at least, even if people had already figured that one out.
Man there are a handful of changes I really dislike in the remake for one reason or another. I still enjoy it and I'm blazing through it 100% faster then I'd like but still getting a bit irked.
The arrow minigames weren't the be all end all hardest thing ever before but now it's like, why bother including them. I get a perfect every time I played it and I had :40 seconds left over in the swamp one on my first try. It's way, way too easy.

Wouldn't that just be because it's easier to aim the arrows? Aiming arrows in OoT/MM was frustrating as hell anyway so I don't mind the change.
We are talking about aiming arrows right?

Yeah, though I don't think they were frustrating to aim back then. Just slower, so instead of adjusting it with faster targets or anything it gives you ages to hit everything. The birds for instance would never make it past the spawning points and the wolves would die the literal second they showed up on the map. The new aiming just makes them kinda obsolete.

Not a real solution but I'm pretty sure you can cut off aiming with the gyroscope in the options, it's too late now that you've beaten it, but maybe they could've tied those two heart pieces to the fishing holes or something.
That would be painful if they attached those two Heart Pieces to the "Legendary" fish on both fishing ponds.

Now try getting a perfect score in the bus.
Is it just me or did they really improve the handling for the Goron roll?
I just beat the Goron race on my first try, which I remember taking fucking forever in the original version.

Just wait until you get to the mini-dungeon
