Which one? The Skulltula Houses or...?
At the end
At the end
Oh yeah, that one. That was still a lot less painful than the Goron race originally was. At least for me.
Oh yeah, that one. That was still a lot less painful than the Goron race originally was. At least for me.
it took me at least 40 tries before i finally figured out you have to stop and go the right way, not just keep spinning
it was super easy I agree, but I remember it being frustrating on the original. Not a real solution but I'm pretty sure you can cut off aiming with the gyroscope in the options, it's too late now that you've beaten it, but maybe they could've tied those two heart pieces to the fishing holes or something.
Just kinda wish they changed it up to compliment the new controls, the octorok one could of simply had some of the waves move in a circle so you don't just snipe them all the second they show up. Also surprised the bullshit rubber banding is still in the Goron Races. The one thing I would of liked to get changed! I kept getting right next to the finish line only for a goron meteor to zip by me :v:
I'm considering getting Monster Hunter 4. Is it worth the money?
I'm considering getting Monster Hunter 4. Is it worth the money?
It's my first Monster Hunter and I love it
I'm considering getting Monster Hunter 4. Is it worth the money?
Play the demo. This game has the most content and it's the best the series has ever been- but it by no means is for everyone. The demo will give you a basic idea to what the fighting part of the game is (which is the main part) and if you like it, go for it.
So one of the people I play smash with at college brought his N3DSXL and he let me hold it for a while. Holy shit the 3D has improved on it, I noticed the difference immediately. I have to get myself one.
I don't know how they made it so responsive to moving your face. Usually tracking systems like that lag like hell.
So Australia might be getting the Black N3DS at the end of March. I don't really have anything more than that since the guy at EB wasn't sure himself, since all he knows is that there's word something else might be coming out at the same time of the second shipment for the MM3DS.
I don't know how they made it so responsive to moving your face. Usually tracking systems like that lag like hell.
The n3DS' face tracking has what is known as "negative latency". Basically, it observes how much you moved your head between the last two frames it's captured, does some quick position/velocity math, and moves the shutters to try and anticipate where it will be on the next frame. It's constantly overshooting rather than trying to play catch-up, which is still just as prone to inaccuracy, but the inaccuracy is SIGNIFICANTLY less noticeable to the human eye.
For those of you who bought the Monster Hunter New 3DS, did any of you get your theme? Apparently you're supposed to get a free MH theme with the digital version of the game, but I can't find it and I've looked all over for an answer.
4 and a half weeks till my new 3ds arrives... soo loooong and i have Monster hunter and pokemon just sitting here waiting to be played
Got a source saying that this is the N3DS's method?
There's no official documentation as of yet, but the overcompensation effect can be observed by holding the system very steady, quickly turning it quickly about 20 degrees to the left or right, and then abruptly stopping and holding it steady again. The shutters will be able to keep up during the motion, but once you stop, they'll briefly go out of alignment, as if the focus has a momentum to it and it's "bouncing" back into the proper position once it realizes it went too far. Humans aren't particularly prone to these sudden stops when moving about naturally, and as such, with negative latency, we hardly ever experience this single limitation of it.
I picked up a Hori branded silicone case for my 3DS, and I have to say it's pretty good: [t]http://puu.sh/geQGN/fd6bd18115.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/geQGZ/423118804c.jpg[/t] The top could fit a little bit tighter, but overall I'm pleased with how it looks and feels. The case does cover the rear triggers under a thin layer of silicone, but it's not something that bothers me. They have that nice 'clicky' feel to them. [t]http://puu.sh/geQHl/2e819635c2.jpg[/t]

So I tried out that IronFall game and wow the graphics are fucking amazing for a 3DS game. It seems like a cheaper Gears of War clone though. Solid 60fps playing online in 3v3/2v2v2/2v2/6p FFA! I dunno if I should buy any portion of it though.
Do the transfer from SD to MicroSD BEFORE you start the data transfer between the two systems. Verify the MicroSD works in your old 3DS (via an adapter, frequently sold with MicroSD cards) and THEN start system transfer. If you move the data to another card after being prompted to remove it and put it in the new system, you WILL lose your saves. Got my n3DS today and the transfer went off without a hitch thanks to this guide.

But I do want to see what else that team can do.

I was just under the impression that you only got the theme if you bought it from the eshop. Our MH4U came preloaded on our cards, and technically we never did buy it off the eshop, we just registered it under our account.
So Ironfall is pretty good But impossible to play with a stylus. You need the C-stick or Pro Pad. Otherwise it's pretty sweet.
So Ironfall is pretty good But impossible to play with a stylus. You need the C-stick or Pro Pad. Otherwise it's pretty sweet.
What about if you were great at both Metroid Prime Hunters and Kid Icarus Uprising?
So Ironfall is pretty good But impossible to play with a stylus. You need the C-stick or Pro Pad. Otherwise it's pretty sweet.
Honestly I'd play with a stylus online simply because of how much it emulates mouse controls. C-Stick (and 3D) is fine for singleplayer though.
Ironfall first impressions: The graphics are alright (3DS XL old, dunno if they're better on n3DS), but 3D cuts the framerate in half which is irksome. Also the stylus controls aren't anywhere near responsive enough, even with the sensitivity maximized. All in all feels like Shadowgun (Android/iOS) but a little clunkier, and with worse VA.
if that's really the case then i'll just get multiplayer as a timekiller sort of deal [editline]28th February 2015[/editline] ign (surprisingly) has a fairly good video on ironfall if anyone else is interested.

Cuz I chose to transfer my data wirelessly during that time and everything was retained, including all my saves. Unless I'm stupid and I'm completely missing something. Just finished 100% majora's mask and damn it's still my favorite Zelda. I love how they managed to give life to all theses people. Makes me wish for a wii u game explaining the creation of the majora's mask, like you spend the whole game not powering up you master sword, but yourself until you become the fierce deity. Maybe even tie in the fused shadows since they seem to share the same origins!
