So I bought this grip for my 3DS XL not too long ago, but I sold my 3DS XL to get my n3DS XL, right? It looks like this. It's an AMAZING grip and made playing my XL 300% more comfortable. [t]http://puu.sh/gmZ2W/08b64a4be8.jpg[/t] So the n3DS XL doesn't fit in this grip, obviously, so I decided "Hey, maybe if I shave off some of the side, I'll be able to fit my new 3DS in here!" I tried. And failed. The plastic is pretty tough to shave off. So. I TOOK A HACKSAW TO IT :v: Unfortunately, unless I want to completely destroy it, I can't remove enough of the edge to fit my new 3DS in. So instead, I ended up filling in the indentation with cardboard and taping the fuck out of it with black gorilla tape so that the grip was completely flat instead of having that dip. Now I just have some sticky velcro strips on the back of my 3DS that attach to the flat surface of my...home made monstrosity :v: Works well enough but it looks hilariously terrible. At least now I can play Monster Hunter for more than half an hour without my hands wanting to amputate themselves and run off. Also I only had to pay $5 for the velcro strips instead of trying to import a New 3DS LL grip from Japan for like $50. Everybody wins!
erg i got the gbc rom browser exploit working but i realized you need firmware 9.2 to use ninjhax, i'm an idiot for updating my 3ds... (i have the original 3ds) at least i can play pokemon yellow i guess and games from any region i think i just wish i could tell the 3ds to stop giving me update prompts just in case i accidentally click yes [editline]5th March 2015[/editline] would be nice if smealum released a more reliable way to get homebrew and shit working on the 3ds but he took a year to create what he released now so i doubt it
I guess since I didn't actually buy MH4U through the eshop, and just got the digital version by buying the MonHun N3DS then I don't have a receipt for the game, and thus I can't get the free theme. It's kind of stupid...
it should still be there
it should still be there
There's no receipt for the game if you have the MH4U n3DS. It technically wasn't "purchased" from the eShop.
just finished Wario Land 3 for the first time I've gotta say quite underrated, its like they took a almost Metroid approach its basically a side scrolling collect-a-thon kept me occupied for longer then I thought very fun game
So MH4U arrived yesterday, and I've been playing it for a while, and I have some questions. -Is there any way to make the Great Sword faster? Many monster evade me before I get my first hit on them, and when I need to be fast, I need to run away, run at them, and then attack with the sword. And not even that works all the time. -What are the ZL and ZR buttons used for? -Can you go like, free roaming? Like, killing monsters without any quests? -Do palicos get tired? I see a "rest" option at the Palico board. Thanks.
WL3 is easily my favorite. I can see why people like 2 but personally I think 3 is better structured and has a bit more lasting appeal. You're always doing at least something new in 3, treasures changing old levels in often drastic ways, versus having to frequently re-tread old ground in exactly the same way to get all the endings in 2.

Gaijin Hunter's guide is pretty good. -Nothing as far as I can tell, they just do the same as L and R. -Yes, you get quests called Harvest Tours later on that let you wander freely on a map and leave whenever you please. -They have an Enthusiasm stat that controls how often skills activate and goes down when they are training or when they faint on a hunt. Resting will replenish this, but your main Palico will hopefully not faint very often and will keep his Enthusiasm high.

I'm fighting against the Giant Jaggi, and for some reason my attacks are being reflected. What's going on?
Ended up upgrading my fruitcake into a fruit jelly, zero complaints so far! [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ivpkeekvmcyd9yp/IMG_20150304_144200720.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/tj3a9oailvybcue/IMG_20150304_145240015.jpg[/t]
OK, either MH4U is a really bad game, or I'm playing it wrong. I get the Great Jaggi to low health, he then escapes to its cavern before I can finish him, and then he comes back in full health. Rinse, repeat. What am I supposed to do??
I'm sorry, but your Great Jaggi is in another castle. [sp]Get paintballs from the chest, throw them at the Jaggi and you'll see him on the minimap. He simply went to another area.[/sp]

Now, when do I upgrade my equipment, and when do I forge new one? I have an upgraded Bone Great Sword, but now I can forge the G. Jaggi sword.
Always paint ball him first, then follow him to every area and put the smack down on him. You could also, when hes sleeping, put a trap on him and kill him that way too.

For armor, you'll be find that they all have different perks and disadvantages, some resist different elements better than others, some let you eat and drink faster at the cost of getting hungrier faster, etc. You can counteract some of these downsides with decorations/gems which you'll be introduced to down the line. Eventually you'll find an armor set that you like the perks for (and how it looks) and don't mind the downsides to wearing it, then you can start upgrading it with armor spheres. Getting materials for crafting equipment will require some grinding, so be prepared for that! :v:

So Wil Wheaton is voicing Abe Lincoln: Twitter doesn't seem to happy about this either.
Who is wil Wheaton anyway
Some guy who was on Star Trek The Next Generation. He has a history of being arrogant and headstrong.

The final upgrades for the rugged great sword looks cool, so I guess I will forge it. But there's way too many armor pieces for me to decide. What armor is best for novices? I just beat the Great Jaggi, so I can forge its armour.
Man fuck Will Wheaton. Only reason he's famous is because he was a character in Star Trek no one liked
Who is wil Wheaton anyway
A man who is only still relevant because of a feedback loop of people who say he's still relevant
In 2, the only time you absolutely have to replay levels is the ones with the secret exits in them, and that requires playing the levels differently. If you stay on top of things and get the treasure on every level, you never have to replay levels at all. Wario Land 3's openness is nice, but it's like they realised it was too confusing and added the temple as a way of telling players exactly which levels they can currently make progress on for when they get lost. Except the game doesn't even tell you about this function of the temple, you have to find it yourself. It's nothing like Banjo-Kazooie or something, where you can pretty easily remember where you need to backtrack once you learn a new ability. Wario Land: The Shake Dimension pretty much got it right, though. The treasures are collectibles, but they're not required at all to finish the game, they're just challenges to unlock bonus content separate to the main game. You can finish the game without worrying about them, but for players who want to squeeze as much out of the game as they can, it's a nice thing to have. Unfortunately it doesn't have nearly as many transformation puzzles as 2 and 3 since as far as I can remember the fire transformation is the only one they kept, and the level design is kind of bland. Compared to the other games in the series, where there's pretty much always a complex puzzle, it feels bare-bones and not as mentally challenging. They brought back the "run really fast out of the level once you get to the end" thing from Wario Land 4, but you have to fire yourself out of a cannon to run instead of just holding a button. Instead of being able to start running again immediately if you fuck up, you have to load your checkpoint and try the entire segment again. I think this change is probably just a result of them running out of buttons to assign to functions in the game on the Wii Remote. Maybe if they make a 3DS game (I'm still holding out hope) they could do something more complex. Considering Good-Feel made the last one, that's probably out of the question until Woolly World is finished, assuming they're the ones who make another Wario Land if it happens.
What the hell am I doing wrong in Bravely Default? I went to the castle to capture the pyromancer and everything there is kicking my ass.

I wouldn't worry too much about looking at all the armors and finding what you like, but instead look at armors as you discover them through the forging menus after defeating a new monster, if you like how it looks, and like it's perks you can start farming that monster and the other necessary parts.
Will there be any awards for platinum folks for club nintendo or that's it?
