Just got New Leaf, was hoping to maybe knuckle down with a bit of fishing but the rod wasn't being sold today, so that'll have to wait till tomorrow. The new art style was a bit weird but I've gotten used to it fast. Any you guys still playing it?
I was up until December. Then one of my favorite villagers moved out because I had a lot of homework for two days straight. I figured that if my year and a half of playtime was going to be rewarded with a really awesome villager moving out because I had the audacity to not play for two days, my time would be better spent elsewhere. Edit: I had hundreds of hours of playtime already, so it was certainly money well spent. I just didn't have the strength to go on accomplishing nothing for no reward.
Yeah after my village was maxed out with all the cool stuff i wanted, i quit playing. It was totally worth it as it was my first AC game. I hope they do a WiiU one next.
It's also not true.
If time travel works the same way as in OoT, then yes it is. You know, the entire reason there's a third branch of the official timeline.

Also it sucks when a favorites moves out but you do know there are other cool villagers right?
Except Anouma (did I spell it right)
Aonuma. You switched the O and the N.
If time travel works the same way as in OoT, then yes it is. You know, the entire reason there's a third branch of the official timeline.
If anything, it's the timeline where Link dies that threw us all for a loop.
Heads up, Europe people! All the Sega 3D Classics will be half off this week, excluding Afterburner, Fantasy Zone, Outrun and Sonic
What villager? Also it sucks when a favorites moves out but you do know there are other cool villagers right?
It was Flurry, an adorable white hamster villager. And yeah, I know there are more good villagers out there, but this came hot on the heels of a really ugly villager (Katt) refusing to move away even after I ignored her for three months. It was basically the straw that broke the camel's back.
The less you interact with a villager, the less likely they'll be to decide to move. This is in place to try and get players to at least give said villager a chance. Ignoring your problems won't make them go away, etc etc
I hope that codename steam game is good, I want to buy it but I have so many games to play at the minute :(
I hope that codename steam game is good, I want to buy it but I have so many games to play at the minute :(
Review embargos went off earlier, basically the game is good but has a few problems that keeps it great (difficulty, some waitime between turns). Currently at a 70~ on metacritic but most reviewers I know gave it an 8/10, so it might be worth waiting on for a bit.
I don't know about anyone else, but i kinda feel that Nintendo is trying to promote Codename Steam too aggressively, the idea that Abe Lincoln in a steampunk environment with real/fictional characters in London, fighting aliens just seems too bizarre, even more so when it's attempting to be something major. like Intelligent Systems is already busy with Fire Emblem IF. its like it doesn't seem as major in comparison to other Nintendo direct/E3 games that was revealed in the past like Splatoon, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros 4. even Bayonetta looked weaker at first, however it grew more stronger as footage came out. At this point, all the future-release popularity moved from Smash Bros and onto Splatoon. Mario Vs DK started off good but eventually turned Lemmings-like, Kirby just had another highpoint with Triple Deluxe, Canvas Curse was there to show off the DS touch screen which is good, but Kirby and the Rainbow Curse seems to push the Wii U gamepad. to be frank, Codename STEAM looked a bit worse during the last Nintendo Direct when they overloaded news on top of each over; new VC games, Puzzle & Dragons Z: Super Mario Bros edition, Monster Hunter 4, Majora's Mask, Xenoblade 3D, Fire Emblem IF, playable Tingle/Ganon in Hyrule Warriors.. Like there's a Majora's Mask Pin for preordering the game at GameStop, and is singlehandedly the main thing that's pushed for a reason of restocking Marth Amiibos. maybe CN:S looks unusual now, it'll probably garner favorable ratings from players once it comes out, it's like it attempts to blend EBA's artstyle to an extent with a turnbased strategy game with an FPS but just looks weirdly obteuse consideing these are the people who made Fire Emblem AND Advance Wars in the past, and the latter has had unfavourable fates in Japan. not to intend to be a dig at codename Steam or anything.
If you guys are thinking picking up Codename STEAM, play the demo in the eShop. I haven't picked it up yet but the demo is pretty good. Big thing right now for me is that the enemy's turn can take a while.
can I send my nn3ds to nintendo to get the screen fixed?
Codename Steam feels like a mediocre game personally which is perfectly okay. I'm willing to be content with a rough game.
I tried the demo of Codename STEAM and thought it was fine. Nothing revolutionary, but it seems like a good fun title to have on the 3DS
codename: steam just feels like a watered down valkyria chronicles to me and i don't believe in the excuse that it's a portable so it's to be expected to be watered down
codename: steam just feels like a watered down valkyria chronicles to me and i don't believe in the excuse that it's a portable so it's to be expected to be watered down
Especially since 2 out of the 3 Valkyria Chronicles games WERE on portable systems :v:
I got a new SD for my new 3ds xl, and I really really don't want to risk losing save games and stuff (Since I got saves for some lenghty stuff such as virtue's last reward), what's the best way to do this?

Find a detailed step-by-step guide on Youtube. If you do it wrong you can lose your saves, so it's worth getting very thorough instructions.
I just copy pasted the stuff from one sd to another. I was just paranoid coz I read some bad shit can happen to it, didn't lose anything tho.
can I send my nn3ds to nintendo to get the screen fixed?
I see a lot of agrees on this post, so I'm guessing that's a yes- how would one go about it? The c-stick on my n3ds is bugging the hell out of me now, but I'm real afraid of something happening on the way there or on the way back.
Do rewarded games count for coins? Not sure what to get. Are those dillon games any good?
STEAM is good but it has a lot of room to improve. As I'm playing it I'm sitting here going "man if this gets a sequel the sequel is gonna be super great."

This can only really mean two things- either Zelda U is a prequel/sequel to Majora's Mask (that or it's a combo game like Hyrule Warriors), or Grezzo is making their own Zelda game off the OoT3D/MM3D engine. Either way, I'm fucking hyped.

It would basically be the same game, same setting, but with changed dungeons, items and different story. It's also based off of this picture: [thumb]https://sickr.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/zelda_majoras_mask_summer_tease.png[/thumb]
