I just realized something. If you're going to be pre-ordering a new 3DS system from Gamestop and plan on trading in your old 3DS for the extra credit towards the New 3DS, remember that [B]your Nintendo ID is linked to your old system so you won't be able to re-download games you bought from the eShop on your new 3DS without having your old one there to do a system license transfer.[/B]
I called Gamestop and I could pre-order the special Majora's Mask 3DS but I have to pay in full so I can't put money down and pick it up on release with my old system so I can do the transfer and then pay the rest.

I'm running a first gen 3DS still and since Smash brought new life into it, I will get a ton of use out of it.

I'm getting hounded by people asking where to order the MM XL from for UK/Europe. Anybody know?
I was just at Gamestop for over an hour. They ran out of the MM 3DS online within 2 hours of opening and you can only get them from the online store. Their system was so swamped with orders that it took them HALF AN HOUR just to tell me they didn't have any. It wasn't even saying sold out, it just wasn't loading at all.
Eventually when they found out they were out of stock, I decided to get the Monster Hunter one. Another half an hour went by before they managed to FINALLY get an order through, but I have to wait until later for the order to even process. Luckily I got a printed confirmation so I'm guaranteed the Monster Hunter edition, I just have to wait for a phone call first.
Goddamn Nintendo broke the system with these new 3DS'
The only thing in this Nintendo direct that interested me really was the MM3D release date and the N3DSXL MM3D bundle.
