I ran into a Nintendo Rep at the store today, we talked Amiibos and she gave me some Codename S.T.E.A.M. promo stuff. Demo codes! [sp](Even though it's out)[/sp]
Was playing MM3D, beat Snowhead Temple, got the gilded sword, exited out to go see my new streetpass notifications... forgot to save, last save was before I started Snowhead. :c

I had to redo it because I didn't know you'd lose progress when you die at the end.
Meanwhile, in Japan only...
Plus four Ace Attorney themes, come on

I pick it up every night before I go to bed to try and figure out how to beat him when he takes his head off, so far no luck.
that fucking dreamcast theme
finally escaped club nintendo hell
Should i register my 3ds with club nintendo now or wait till they do a game promotion like they did with smash? Or would that not work?
10 days until platinum rewards get hype yall
I would be hype but I'm 105 coins away from Plat, which makes me sad because I just bought a bunch of Nintendo shit but it's all stuff that was released after the cutoff date for coins :v:
Been Plat for 4 years in a row and now i end up with only Gold.
Looks like Cliffy B, in an attempt to become relevant again, has decided to attack Nintendo:
has cliffy bee even made a game in three years? lol
Should i register my 3ds with club nintendo now or wait till they do a game promotion like they did with smash? Or would that not work?
Register it now since Club Nintendo is closing

They're paying someone else to go mobile for them. And B: The last game he had a major part in was back in 2011. Ignorant and irrelevant is always a funny combination, but unfortunately a lot of people will latch onto his thoroughly unreasearched opinion just because his name is famous.
Europe Club Nintendo has put up some more games, including Advanced Wars 1 and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

'More' games? I've never even seen any on the European store before! Is this what it's like to live in a real country?
Hot damn, my friend gave me their code for MM3D, but I've already registered it so I can't do it again. If anyone is willing to swap a 3DS game code with me, I can give them a MM3D code. A pointless swap for you, but it does help me. It does seem that the majority users in this thread got MM3D so eh.
Plus four Ace Attorney themes, come on
oh man these are all godlike, I need the Ace Attorney themes in my life I still need the Saturn theme though.
I don't know about you guys, but I just got Codename STEAM and it's been really good so far, only thing I don't like is what I said before: enemies turn can take a while. Shame I don't got my Ike and Marth amiibo with me and I want to try them out before I beat the game. Hopefully Robin and Lucina gets released soon.
Codename STEAM is good, but it really overstays it's welcome. I was praising it earlier in the thread and I do like it's story but I just can't play it anymore. Once you hit chapter 13 the game starts cheating super hard and just crashes on itself. The plot at this point has completely stopped moving and the maps slowly become "infinite spawning invisible enemies jumping on you"
My friend is offering me a 80% new 3DS XL boxed plus a copy of the JPN version of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for $130. My last handheld is the original PSP-1000 and I'm not sure if I really want a handheld right now but I don't know if the deal is too good to pass up
Only 80% new? I'd just get the 100% new 3DS. [editline]20th March 2015[/editline] Seriously, that sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

But I'll see how ridiculous hard it gets when I get there, and it's a shame to hear about the story, but really wasn't gonna expect too much on it. One thing I do see people complaining a lot is no over-head map/view, which I don't really see a problem. It makes you plan and not just go Rambo and expecting to mowdown everything in your path with ease. I will agree it is unfair that you don't have full control of the camera during the enemy's turn.

When you get to the invisible enemies who are immune to your overwatch but get like 3 on you no matter what you'll realize they had no idea how to properly balance the game.
Dunno if I should pick up DK 94 and Link's Awakening on Club Nintendo and save me ten bucks or wait until they put up some exclusive trinket
Dunno if I should pick up DK 94 and Link's Awakening on Club Nintendo and save me ten bucks or wait until they put up some exclusive trinket
Dunno how well LA holds up these days but DK 94 is still pretty great. Was worried it might of aged poorly but hey that's not the case at all. Made me kinda wanna track down the GBA Mario vs Donkey Kong for more.
LA is still fun to play. Its hard, but fun to play.
Dunno if I should pick up DK 94 and Link's Awakening on Club Nintendo and save me ten bucks or wait until they put up some exclusive trinket
Link's Awakening is my GOAT Zelda game, though that may be due to a huge amount of nostolgia bias. I would say that if you enjoyed any 2D Zelda, it is a must play. I haven't played DK 94 but everytime a Gameboy discussion comes up I hear it is possibly the best GB game there is.

Which sounds kinda silly but when you play it you'll (hopefully) know what I mean. Regardless DK 94 is an amazing game.
DK 94 on the Super Gameboy was just magical the first time I played it, but it looks like they're just doing the standard sepia version as a reward. :/
