I very much doubt that direct, mainly because of the date- it'd need to be announced today were it to be on Wednesday, and honestly at this point it'd be later on. Of course, even if it isn't on the 1st I'm sure people will assume that above "leak" is real.
They usually announce directs about a day in advance.
the first stuff listed were already leaked by other sources.... Like Pokemon Rumble World was Australia's Rating Board, Zelda U was already mentioned to be pushed back, and wasn't that Paper Mario leak confirmed fake because a bubble went off screen and the viewing area wasn't re-squished/readjusted to make use of the 3DS screen? The Splatoon amiibos is just hopeful thinking with that african leak for Boy/Girl Amiibos and Jigglypuff/Greninja's amiibos. (iirc, it's a startling sign that Greninja's amiibo isn't mentioned, but Duck Hunt Duo's is?) With that said, it would be amazing if N64 games comes to the Wii U, seemed pretty glaring to be missing those when the Wii U originally came out, but i guess they wanted to eat up update slots for the weeks/months. Also, Yokai Watch is only coming out once TOMY fully secures the toy rights to the franchise and they find a western franchise to handle airing rights. they're probably going to stick to Disney XD for the US and maybe for the UK...to sweep under the rug after a month like Inazuma Eleven, then just cram it on CITV. I wonder how they're going to localize Rusty since he appeared with his original Japanese appearance in Smash Bros 4. originally they thought he was kind of a platache of Asian stereotypes; like thin balding comb-over, yellow/pale skin and squinted eyes...then they changed his face into some sort of bulging fetus-eyed cartoon dog. yay for Badge collection if it's true though. they should probably stick with Play Coins for the western release but have 3rd party's selling badge packs...it's just cultural differences vs potential moneydigging from a generally benign entity who is great with DLC costs so far, long after New Super Mario Bros 2.....
I don't see them doing a Nintendo direct till E3, and even if there were to be one before then I don't think we get this much news from it.
If they plan on adding N64 games then they better not give people in Europe the PAL versions, because they run at 50Hz and usually runs a lot slower, especially frame-rate wise. Other Virtual Console games got the same issue, they tried compensating it by speeding up the game, but it results in a few glitches and the speed is still not 100% the same as NTSC.
Nintendo doesnt like to put in the effort for things like that.
I don't see them doing a Nintendo direct till E3, and even if there were to be one before then I don't think we get this much news from it.
Nah, we'll definitely get one- in both 2013 and 2014 we got a direct or two between the february one and E3. We didn't have one last year only because Iwata was out sick, and they didn't want to do "regular" Directs without him.
"snes games on 3ds" the 3ds's screen is smaller, pixel for pixel, then the snes's display. it's fake, unless nintendo found some magic beans that they can use to retroactively change system specs
"snes games on 3ds" the 3ds's screen is smaller, pixel for pixel, then the snes's display. it's fake, unless nintendo found some magic beans that they can use to retroactively change system specs
Or they could just crop it like the gba ports of snes games? Not saying I think the leak is real, just saying in theory it's possible.
I'd be surprised if the same Nintendo that refuses to put GBA games on 3DS due to wanting them running properly settles for cropping pixels.
Mind you, they could just do what was done in Chrono Trigger DS, where the game is rendered at original resolution, but scaled down and filtered to retain as much clarity as possible. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Uuv00qy.jpg[/t]

The 3ds outputs at 400x240 per eye. Pixel-for-pixel the 3ds has a higher resolution. The creator of blargsnes brought this up, saying it was great because it makes snes games easily viewable without having to zoom it in.
Unless I'm completely mistaken, SuperFX 3D games (like Starfox) are the highest-res SNES titles, approaching 360p with the help of the cartridge-based GPU in an attempt to render the polygons more clearly. Those are the only ones I can imagine the 3DS having trouble displaying properly.
So what exactly is the deal with Club Nintendo? The US one's going down tomorrow, but I can't find anything regarding UK/EU. Any ideas?
It's not going down you just can't get coins anymore

As far as I know, no first-party games (well, that I know of) switch the snes into psuedo-hires mode. Feel free to correct me on that one.

This is why Yoshi's Island was only put on GBA VC and not SNES VC.

I knew the leak was real
I knew the leak was real
Just because he got the date right doesn't mean the rest is as well. It might as well be, but we won't know until it's actually out.
I knew the leak was real
Didn't the leaker already confirm that they made it all up?

Why do people come up with Leaks for directs? Not a single one of them has ever been right.
Why do people come up with Leaks for directs? Not a single one of them has ever been right.
Some find them believable. Coupled with guessing the Direct's date makes them super believeable.
When the direct gets uploaded can someone post a link? It airs too early for me.
I'm going to be at work when the Direct airs tomorrow. :(
Source?
If you go to the page where the leak came from somebody asks in German why there are so much Americans commenting. The 'leaker' then answers that Germans didn't fall for it that easily.
I realize it's my fault mostly, but I found a code I hadn't redeemed on club nintendo a little while ago. I put it in, try to go to the second page of the survey, and site maintenence happens. When it's back up, I can select the survey in the todo list, but it can't find it. I keep trying, and eventually all that's in my list is "Looks like you're all done!". Guess I'm probably not getting Donkey Kong '94 then. Edit: "You have null Coins expiring on June 30, 2015" wait what Edit2: Woo, managed to do it after a lot of tries later. Now it says I have -70 coins to go until gold. It's all breaking today.
