A quick question:
so i bought a new 3DS. I have sold my original 3DS XL on Amazon. I would like to format the old 3DS and receive the payment before I open the new 3DS. Would I still be able to log in to the eShop and link my Nintendo ID without my old 3DS? I don't have any apps to transfer.
The Official Nintendo 3DS site says that you can only transfer NNIDs through system transfers. :/
Once a Nintendo Network account has been associated to a system in the Nintendo 3DS family, it can only be moved to a different Nintendo 3DS family system through the Data Transfer process
Call up customer support about it, they can fix it.
that's a bit silly. thanks guys. i guess i'll open the new ds tomorrow night to give the buyer a chance to change his mind.
by the way, i got one of these! i saw them sitting on a shelf at best buy and i had to go for it.
Does anyone know if it's possible to voice spam in Mario Golf like you could in the N64 version? This is very critical.
When waiting for your turn the bottom screen turns into a "annoy the other player" panel that spams emotes and stuff.
I don't suppose any Animal Crossing players can do me a favour? I got New Leaf like 3 days ago, and now it's the easter event. Apparently I need to go diving to get the last egg, but I don't have access to the island yet (I get it tomorrow), I don't suppose I could borrow/buy a diving suit off someone for a couple of minutes?
Send me a PM, would be a big help

I'm in the same situation, any help would be great.
My mom plays AC:NL quite regularly still, I could see if she'd be willing to help you two. She isn't home at the moment, so it might have to wait until later today.
Nintendo Customer support is fucking great.
I got a gift card that was printed on a cheap-o cardstock type material, so when I went at it with my key, the number got totally destroyed. (I'm use to more durable plastic scratch-offs.)
Told Nintendo about it and sent them a scanned picture front and back. Within two days, got the full amount sent to my account which saved me the hassle of having to return it.

What systems do you have? If only 3DS you can still get DKCR3D and SM3DL.

3ds and wiiu.
3ds and wiiu.
With Wii U I''d recommend Yoshi's Island. It's a semi-inferior port of the SNES version but none of the changes made dampen my favorite game ever.
People recommend Golden Sun a lot. I personally never played it but I hear it's a pretty good RPG with some decent puzzles (Sift might disagree on this one).
Earthbound is another RPG, except unlike most it's in a modern setting. The game has a lot of charm but if you're expecting the RPG mechanics to be revolutionary, you might be left disappointed with the exception of some mechanics.
Super Metroid, Mario World, and A Link to the Past are all classics, it's likely you've already played these though.
NES Remix is pretty much 9-Volt's Microgames from Wario Ware. I hear the sequel is better however.
Wonderful 101 is also really popular around these parts. It's like Platinum's other "character action" games with a twist. The learning curve is very high at the beginning but once you get used to it it's supposedly a super solid game.
There are plenty of other really good games but if I told you about all of them this post would never end. If you do have a Wii U though, you can just get the original SF64, there's practically no difference between the versions.
Get W101 if you can. Super owns

Can someone help me out with my rewards?
I have Gold and 400 coins, but I don't like either Mario or DK, which are like the majority of games offered =(
Buy Golden Sun then buy Lost Age then vote for Isaac and live a more fulfilled life
Buy Golden Sun then buy Lost Age then vote for Isaac and live a more fulfilled life
Also pretend Dark Dawn does not exist
Buy Golden Sun then buy Lost Age then vote for Isaac and live a more fulfilled life
I only have a 3DS, not a Wii U.
Also pretend Dark Dawn does not exist
Dark Dawn was okay. Its major flaw was forgetting the concept of difficulty and showering you with Djinn so that you can practically use Judgement out of the starting area.

For some inexplicable reason, Lost Age is still not present in the USA's VC, same deal with Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising.

While I really like Golden Sun as a series, Dark Dawn failed to capture what made the previous games' story so great. It like they figured "Oh, people still like Golden Sun? Well, let's just improvise a a story that fails to capture everything that made the previous ones good with some asspull new thing that threatens the world". It also had some shitey characters, like the second Earth Adept you don't get until the last 2 or 3 hours of the game and who has like 10 lines at best. This was probably due to the fact that they introduced 2 full casts over the course of one game, unlike the previous games that had a full game per cast.
im gonna buy my first 3ds tomorrow after stealing my girlfriends to play pokemon. I'm going to get a 3ds XL but shall i get the normal 3ds XL or fork out the extra money for the new 3ds XL?
Go for the New 3DS, I believe there is no point in buying the old model when the new one is faster hardware-wise and has exclusive games such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, an upcoming port of TBoI: Rebirth and probably more to come.
So i just played with the New 3DS for the first time and wow its really good! The 3D and the C-stick is awesome. Ive owned the 3ds since day 1 and with the 3D working with you its just awesome.

They got Hanazawa Kana to voice the assistant in this one. For people who aren't weeaboos, she's a popular voice actress in the anime industry. She usually does a really good job. Whether you like her voice or not is entirely subjective though.

Although I guess it won't matter because for the international release they'll force dubs and they'll be awful again.
