same with layton 7 fuckin wonderful
What the hell. Is it still developed by the same developer?
What the hell. Is it still developed by the same developer?
Layton 7 is done by Level 5 but it isn't like the DS/3DS Layton games at all. Layton 7 is a card game that just uses the Layton name for some more cash.
oh shit its a card game? why is it numbered then? it's like if valve finally released half-life 3 and it was a kart racer
Maybe it's just a temporary name. alternatively it could be a "seventh" non-spinoff game, just that being with cards would mean that the word Seven is signifigant to a degree. like Japan has a franchise called Winning Eleven which might just be counting how many players each side has in a game of soccer/football (which includes the goalie) would definitely explain Inazuma Eleven too. I don't think the Layton games even number the titles, not even in Japan. leaning on the latter.

Instead, we have 7 different characters.

I might be late but I'm glad Nintendo/Intelligence listen to us and is adding a update to Code Name: STEAM for a Fast-Forward Button during the enemy's turn. Now if they fix the difficulty a bit (or add a Normal mode and leave the current one as Hard), I'm sure it'll bring more people to enjoy this game. I just hope I can get Lucina and Robin in time before I decide to beat the game.

There's already a rank at the end of each stage for how fast you do it, why attack the player mid-level?
Pokemon rumble world is pretty great
Pokemon rumble world is pretty great
I should try it. Shuffle is pissing me off right now. Fuck you Mega Gallie!!!
Anyone pick up Story of Seasons? My friend's trying to get me to get it, but I'm not sure if I'll like it. I like Animal Crossing and I used to play Harvest Moon a lot but I'm not sure how much depth the game has.
Story of Seasons is apparently just a new Harvest Moon under a new title.
Yeah, the company Natsume still owns the rights to the name "Harvest Moon", however, the creators of the series in Japan now want to publish their own games instead of going through Natsume to do so. Thus, they met a compromise: Natsume is allowed to keep the Harvest Moon name and develop similar games (starting with Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, released last year), while Marvelous releases new "true" Harvest Moon games as the Story of Seasons IP. (This confusion does not exist in Japan, where it is still the "Bokujō Monogatari" series) Unsurprisingly, Story of Seasons ended up being a better Harvest Moon game than Lost Valley, as Natsume is new to developing Harvest Moon titles, ironically.
ONE MORE FUCKING DAY til Xenoblade 3D.
ONE MORE FUCKING DAY til Xenoblade 3D.
Between X3D and MH4U, I won't have time for anything else. [sp]Homework? What's homework?[/sp]
I bought a New 3DS XL and wow. Playing with the original 3DS for years and never knowing what it felt like to use the XL version. I feel like i'm holding a small dog in my hands it's so big. I love it.
ONE MORE FUCKING DAY til Xenoblade 3D.
Never played the original so I'm eager. Worried though as I hear sidequests are absolutely brutal to the games life.
Shit, I didn't realize it was coming out already, Will it be on the eShop if I can't get a hold of it in stores?
Shit, I didn't realize it was coming out already, Will it be on the eShop if I can't get a hold of it in stores?
Digital distribution? What is this, 2015? No, if you've not preordered already you'd best be hitting up eBay now while copies are still only $120.
I might be late but I'm glad Nintendo/Intelligence listen to us and is adding a update to Code Name: STEAM for a Fast-Forward Button during the enemy's turn.
I don't really understand why they added a fast-forward button instead of just reducing the enemy turn time. I guess they thought some people would still enjoy the leisurely pace?
I don't really understand why they added a fast-forward button instead of just reducing the enemy turn time. I guess they thought some people would still enjoy the leisurely pace?
Because the gameplay centers around understanding where the aliens are in the 3D world so you can position yourself better, and during their turn you can see what they are doing from any of your units?

I don't have a lot of cash, but I really want Xenoblade. Should I trade in Bravely Default? I can get $22 for it. I never finished it, but I heard it turns into a real slog around the midway point.
Pokemon rumble world is pretty great
I quite enjoy the game as well, and prefer its microtransaction system way more than Shuffle's. My hope going forward is Nintendo follows Rumble's example instead of Shuffle's.
Never played the original so I'm eager. Worried though as I hear sidequests are absolutely brutal to the games life.
I still have nightmares about Frontier Villages side quests.
the sidequests are super plentiful but entirely optional you can do the entire main story without doing any of the side content i think, main story is about 60hrs? i did probably 80% of the side content and finished with the game at 90hrs.
Really the only sidequests that are absolutely worth your time are the ones that grant extra Monado arts. But to get them (for example, Monado Eater) you have to do a massive amount of Frontier Village sidequests to get it. (About 15 hours on that alone for me).
You should get rid of Bravely Default on principle. It's bad.
Bravely Default is one of my Top 10 JRPGs :v: [editline]10th April 2015[/editline] Although I completely understand the (rather valid) criticism, it did a lot more things good than it did badly. Great game for me.
So after playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D for about an hour all I have to say is WHAT A BUNCH OF JOKERS
