That reminds me, I also bought some 3DS games recently. Bought Pushmo and downloaded that free Pokemon match four game before a long car ride.
Pushmo is worth every penny, man it's good. The Pokemon game would be cool if the wait time after using up all your energy was shorter. 30 minutes for one measly heart that will take me all of 30 seconds to waste? Come on.
Until what date you can get your points/gold rewards?
Should I buy xenoblade or monster hunter?
Should I buy xenoblade or monster hunter?
Booooth.
Booooth.
Went for monster hunter. Il buy xenoblade if / when it drops below £20
That's pretty shitty to Xenoblade which I honestly think is the better game of the two.
[editline]27th April 2015[/editline]
They're both GOOD mind you, just I'd rather play xenoblade
I stopped playing after 1 month. There's so much to do in that game and learn that I couldn't keep up. Good game though

Basically it's a sidequest trap. There are good sidequests there and all of them work to building a relationship with the town/area you're in... but if you try to do them all at once or focus on them you're gonna get mad.
I've started playing Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward after a Twitch streamer I frequent started playing 999 for the DS. Amazing story, amazing writing. Can't get enough of it.

I watched all the endings before starting so I know just about everything. I don't think I should know these answers yet but I still don't understand (999 spoilers) [sp]the timelines that separate Akane from being dead or alive, like specifically when she and Aoi disappear from the incinerator. And then I'm assuming I'm not supposed to know anything about why Alice was in the desert.[/sp]
So I did all of that and then in VLR so far I've (VLR spoilers) [sp]gotten two endings without unlocking an ending icon on the save menu? So there's 22 endings and I've found two, and then there's 8 full size endings? The first one I got was Quark and Alice getting infected with the virus and we tranquilized them, but there's a TBC screen because we didn't have enough of the cure. So after that I went back and switched my round one vote against Alice from Ally to Betray and the result was that we didn't save Alice and I presumably caught the virus from her dead body and got a bad ending. So the flowchart displays where I got so far in those endings, but I never reached the bottom, which is why I didn't call them full sized endings. Is that a thing? Can anyone explain without spoiling what I don't know so far?[/sp] If not that's fine. Still running through the game and enjoying it!

999 spoilers ahead
[sp]Akane died in the past and what you see in the game is a projection of sorts from the little kid. Hugo's project was a success in ways he never dreamed. Akane would send a projection to the future to help Junepi along and it would lead to Junpei getting locked in the incinerator where he could get that answer for her. Every ending where time ran out and she vanished- lil baby Akane just died. She'd get feverish whenever the time limit was coming up because the heat was getting to her. Santa's the one that set everything up and he's the only one that's actually there as a part of that family and he just scrams when he figures out that Junpei's got this on lock. Alice... well, you'll find out in VLR what her deal is.[/sp]
As for the endings in VLR
[sp]There's two kinds of endings, nonstandard ones which are just kind of generic "woops ya fucked up now you're dead." kinds and ones named after characters. The paths with character named endings are usually paths that unlock things for other time lines. It's a pretty important plot detail so won't get too much more into it but don't worry about it yet.[/sp]

Okay so I found [sp]woops ya fucked up now you're dead[/sp] endings. Got it. Also I didn't think [sp]June was an entire projection[/sp] so that's why I was thinking in timelines. I wouldn't have ever thought of that, Jesus. I'm so excited to keep playing!
Also don't know if anybody cares, but right now the streamer I watch is solving the true ending if anybody wants to join. [sp]http://www.twitch.tv/youpickgames[/sp]

You're kind of right (More 999 end game spoilers) [sp]You're playing as two characters the entire game. Literally every bit of it. Top screen is Junpei's perspective, bottom screen is all Young Akane/June. It's her looking through numerous paths till she finds the one that leads to Junpei helping her.[/sp]

That's interesting, kinda confusing because [sp]the bottom screen speaks in Junpei's perspective until the incinerator. So does that mean June disappears every time she splits paths from Junpei? If she's not alive then she can't be in the game solving puzzles and using her bracelet to open doors.[/sp]
Sorry for dragging out this discussion by the way, I can move this to PM if you'd be willing to continue explaining it.

It's fine and totally up to you. Also yeah you nailed it. [sp]Santa set it up so there's literally no way to escape properly unless you make it out with June. Think of it as her living in his body and guiding him. As they said in the big run down June is basically a person dialing a subconcious phone number, and Junpei answered without realizing it as he was matched with her in the past. It's why when he gets stabbed the text talks like
"Junpei felt this way or that way. *HIS* body crumbled and blew up or whatever." It's because she's telling you how he feels.[/sp]
Alright I PM'd you
For the club nintendo reward, should I go with Super mario bros 3, oracle of seasons, or crashmo? I'm having a very hard time choosing.

Depends. If you want portable emulation you should pick either mario 3 or oracle of seasons (sorry, it's a hard choice for me too), but if you already have a way to emulate that you're satisfied with, I'd get crashmo, which is a pretty fun puzzle game.
I like oracles the best out of the 3.
yeah i would recommend oracle of seasons best value there
Gloria just moved in my town in AC:New Leaf.
She placed her house right in front of Re-Tail, already in a spot far from the rest of the buildings.
I know house placement is random but why

My favorite thing the AI does in Animal Crossing is ask me to get fruit from a tree two feet away from them.
Has anyone here played Etrian Mystery Dungeon? I'm curious about how it handles the party controls. Battle strategy is pretty important in Etrian Odyssey, I can't imagine it gelling well with Mystery Dungeon's rather bad follower AI and tile-wide corridors
I forgot to tell you guys but two weeks ago I went to best buy and say this on the amiibo display.

That is clearly a tom nook figure. This makes me believe we are getting more than just cards. Could be something for the Wii u as well.
If the Nintendo-themed items are locked behind Amiibos in the next proper Animal Crossing I'll be a bit annoyed.
They'll probably make it that you get a random Nintendo-themed item when you tap an amiibo.
Who's the dipshit who thought it would be a good idea to prevent people from downloading themes if their battery is red, even if it's charging? :v:

Fail safe to prevent data loss/corruption?
They have showed this many times before. It's still a mystery why and if we will ever get a Tom Nook amiibo.
Sorry I hadn't seen anyone post about it either thread so I went with it. Either way, I have a feeling the next animal crossing is a bit more than they have shown. I'm guessing it is a full blown game. This might be crazy, but maybe you will be able to run your own shop and like 3d model things like furniture and clothes! That has been my dream for a while now, and if they do it, I can die happy. After playing it for 1,000 hours though.
