Sounds pretty cool, don't mind Phoenix mode since I just won't play it. Getting rid of weapon durability is kind of shit though.
Pheonix mode and removing weapon durability sound pretty stupid, but honestly, pheonix mode is gonna be optional, and I had so much money and any one point in Awakening (without the DLC) that durability only affected really rare weapons that I never used anyway.
This is mostly because the PM team made sure not to step on any legal toes. You can't play PM with a pirated or digital/ripped copy of brawl, only physical copies (PAL soon!), and they don't charge people for any portion of it. I don't even think there's a donate button on their site.
That's not entirely true, I've got a friend who I play it with on his emulator.
That is incorrect. You can play PM with just the .iso

If you couldn't you wouldn't be able to play PM in Dolphin.
Dammit, Yeah didn't see this, sorry.
What if Pheonix mode is actually a hyper difficult mode where both your units and the enemies' units revive?
How long did it take? I'd imagine there was much shuffling around and if your device was on that could've easily racked up a lot.
It was at the facility for a maximum of like 4 or 5 hours before being shipped back.
I'm actually happy about lack of weapon durability, the game is complex enough as it is without another thing to have to micromanage.
DAMNIT! I would blow 500 coins on games yesterday because i couldn't get the bag, and now it's 300 coins... GG me

Wow, I really would like to see you try some of the older Fire Emblems if that's what you think.
Awakening was ridiculously dumbed-down and IF seems even more so.
Still gonna buy it though, I'm a for SRPGs.
A free-to-play (or "free to start") Pushmo game just got announced and released in Japan.

Apparently it has four worlds, and you can play seven courses for free. If you buy and beat all four worlds, you unlock a special challenge world. There are also enemies for the first time in the series. Seems more like a demo than "F2P".

This also got announced. We're probably not getting it but still. Dammit.
I say it has a way higher chance of coming over to the west because apart from the new stuff everything has already been translated and there is already english voice acting.
Still not getting my hopes up because it's SE and Dragon Quest.

I've played every game except Radiant Dawn lol. Awakening tried to add every fucking defining mechanic from every game and it just became an overcomplicated clusterfuck.
Awakening was a broken clusterfuck but with plentiful money and easy shops weapon degradation was just an annoyance rather than a contribution to the clusterfuck. At best it meant that the best weapons could only be used sparingly and at worst it meant the second-best items were purchased en masse whenever you could find them in shops.
No weapon degradation means that in design they can control how powerful you are without worrying about stockpiling, there's more use in top-tier weapons as it matters who you give it to rather than if you should even use it, and they can give more dramatic changes to sidestep weapons like Killing Edge so they complement characters rather than give limited use buffs. Whether removing the busywork is considered dumbing down or not, they can certainly make this work.
So, yeah, Attack on Titan came out for 3DS, and I was sitting on a bunch of credit leftover from the past few months, so I went and DL'ed it.
You can map camera to the circle pad pro/weird stick thing on the N3DS, so make sure you do that right away.
Aside from that, I dunno, it seems really cool flying around and doing spinning maneuvers by rotating the stick while zooming in on a Titan, but half the time I found myself being smacked right out of the air while aiming for ankles, thighs, and the neck.
Only a bit into story mode so far, and World Mode seems to be locked for now.
everyone said the game was meh at best, it looked really cool when it was announced initially but meh, QTEs.
Also I don't want to update my 3DS unless there's a good reason.
God fucking damn it, my brand new-New 3DS XL has a dead pixel, only 1 day after getting it, gr8 ;_;

I have an original DS, the fat silver one. I'm looking at DS Lites for a better screen, but am wondering if I should just skip the lite ($40 used) and get a used 3ds, and use my ds for gba games (just bought minish cap).
How's the 3DS library? My favorite games (I never got a lot of handheld games) are Metroid Prime Hunters and Pokemon Diamond. Not really into rpg stuff so much. Minish cap is making me realize I missed a whole generation of gaming and so it's tempting to invest in a lite for building a GBA library.
What do you think I should get? Any PS Vita owners that enjoy both platforms?
I also played AC: Wild World a lot but I enjoyed the original GCN version much more. Yoshi's Island was a childhood favorite.

There haven't been any QTE's at all, currently 4 hours into the game.
Like, none, unless you mean the attack animation one, if so, it's hardly a QTE, because it can be set to "hold down", eliminating that feel of it.
Now that I'm leveled enough, I cut through everything, and my A.I companions are actually pretty decent too. Getting craft materials is kind of annoying, as you need to pick them up out in the maps while evading Titans, but the Scout missions give triple the materials compared to the normal missions, also triple XP at the cost of soldiers in your army(amount of soldiers you have determines what missions you can access, normal missions give 4-8+ at a time, so you need to grind a bit, but you can also get money, XP, and craft materials at the same time, so it's never dull when grinding).
Wasn't that game delayed for Europe because Attack on Titan is already trademarked or something so they have to release under the Shingeki no Kyojin name. I was actually looking forward to trying it out.

At least it's inviting you to press any butt.
I still need to get my n3ds fixed, it's been sitting on my table for months now.
Fullblox is now available in the European 3DS eshop

no its CALA-FOOOOOOON-IA
Nooo, it's Cow-lee-phoar-nyuh!
I probably won't get a Ninetendo, maybe a Tenelevendo. *rimshot*
I think my C-nubbin broke on my N3DS.
Shite
pretty sure the c-stick comes broken because it's never been comfortable or easy for me to use
seriously would another analog stick be that hard to implement nintendo? even if it's smaller it'd be fine but this nub just ruins me
I came 3rd in the new leaf fishing tourney. </3
