Apologies if this has been talked about in this thread already, but anyone else enjoying Puzzle & Dragons? I like the way the 'match 3' system is set up so that you can plan and execute combos. It works better than, say, Bejeweled because it adds strategy and a little bit of depth to the puzzling. The amount of monsters and their evolution trees surprised me as well. I didn't expect the game to be as deep as it is. It's an all-around fun time for me, what do you guys think?
Has anyone here picked up Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven?
I seen it today, it was the only copy at the store I was at and decided I'd pick it up. Figured it was the only copy they got so I might as well be the one to see what the heck it is. I've never heard of it before so I knew nothing going in. But it came with a CD for the soundtrack and that's always a huge seller to me.
I've played about 2 hours of it so far so I've been able to gather the basic premise of the story. Basically you're the owner of an Inn that was handed down to you by your father who has passed away. Things have been tight until one day you go to gather some things to sell. You find a girl encased in crystal she is magically freed and she saves you from an attack. That's basically everything the box tells you so I don't consider it spoilery.
I kind of enjoy it, the combat is nice and fun. I especially enjoy knocking enemies into each other to rack up combos. If you rack up a 10-combo you get another attack immediately afterwards. It's quite satisfying laying waste to a group of enemies because of how they're bunched up like Bowling Pins.

Eh, I find it too harem for my taste, so I'll pass.
I'm interested in it because the rune factory guys worked on it.
I might end up having to wait endlessly for Bravely Default to go down in price.
I'll probably just end up buying it in the next two months.

I was close to buying it the other day. I've heard great things about it so it's almost certainly worth the price.
Anyone gotten past lvl 120 in pokemon shuffle? its against Mega Glalie.

Yeah the demo is fun as hell. I just usually wait awhile unless it's something I really got to have at release. Either way I'll probably buy it soon anyway.

One of the harder levels in the game, aside from M-Gengar and M-Mewtwo. Keep at it! Distruption Delay, Mega Start, and +5 moves will help a lot. Your team should be led by Lucario (or Mawile).
Don't give them money! I've S-ranked all 190 stages so far without it.
The Humble Nindie Bundle updated, including 3 new games, the only for 3DS being Gunman Clive.

Need a real quick game recommendation here, looking to expand my game library. Right now I own Pokemon X and Alpha Sapphire, Mario Kart 7, Tomodachi Life, Super Mario 3D Land, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS.

Perhaps look into either of the Zeldas, Luigi's Mansion 2, Phoenix Wright DD or even Fire Emblem.

Yeah, thought it might be something along the lines of that. Thanks.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call is a fun game to have in your pocket if you like Final Fantasy and rhythm games.
So I got Chrono Trigger. What do you guys recommend, a blind run first, or use a walk though to get a specific ending?
Also, just got my first amiibo, the inkling girl. Now I don't know what to do with her. Do I open the package? Do I buy a case for it? What do you guys do with them?

Do what you want with it, seriously. Everyone has their own uses for amiibos- collecting them, marking them up for higher prices and then selling them again, actually using them- the list goes on. I myself kind of feel bad if I don't use the amiibo somewhere, because by buying one I effectively just bought something that a kid in the same town I live in can't get, especially if they're uncommon or aren't restocked any more.

Just play the game as you see it. Then you can see later on what you missed.

Do a blind run, then use a walkthrough or blind run to get the other endings once you beat the game.

Blind run, first, for sure. The game actually has some fantastic revelations, twists, and side-stories that make you think, that I wish I could forget and re-experience.
Do you get to rename your characterson New Game + in Chrono Trigger?
I don't want to name Frog such a generic name like Frog.
