I swapped out Sneaky Bastard for some quality of life skills in the tech tree to compliment the Spec Ops SMG and it's going pretty good 200 hours in this game and I've always played dodge with pistols didn't eve. Occur to me shotguns were viable I find ever since the skill updatee shotguns have been dope
They were decent before last year's crimefest, but now they're great. Maybe even OP on a few cases :v:
It's early but maybe we should call the next thread the overkill thread so we can talk about raid and WD too?
I've been a fan of the MP7 (Spec-Ops Sub-machine Gun) as my secondary automatic of choice, but the CR805B has become my go to secondary. It's just so nice to use. I keep forgetting it's not actually a primary and using it throughout entire heists.
I call that phenomena "locomotive syndrome" cos the loco has a special place in my heart.
I call that phenomena "locomotive syndrome" cos the loco has a special place in my heart.
Locomotive right now is literally the Reinfeld as a secondary weapon. Makes the primary redundant.
loco is even better than the reinfeld i think do shotguns still have that single pellet damage fuckery going on?
loco is even better than the reinfeld i think do shotguns still have that single pellet damage fuckery going on?
Yep.
For some reason I can't sell crimefest safes on the steam market
payday jacket isnt even canon [editline]17th June 2016[/editline] that being said I really dont like new jacket, he looks like any random old guy and not a vicious psychopath or a distant weirdo, old jacket at least looked like the kind of guy who would secretly murder lots of people I think he should look more tired/worn out, big bags under his eyes and chapped lips and stuff
I always assumed that the Payday Universe has an alternative version of the events of Hotline Miami At no point in PD2 is Jacket directly mentioned to be connected with the 80s. It's possible that in this universe, only the events of Hotline Miami 1 took place, without the Cold War stuff HM2 expands upon, and they took place in the mid-2000s.
I just think PD2 jacket has actually nothing to do with HM jacket or HM in general
If anyone here is displeased with Jacket's face, this mod might be of interest: http://forums.lastbullet.net/mydownloads.php?action=view_down&did=1527

I like it a lot.

I'm working on updating my PDTH Hoxton skin for the new models. The old texture map and UVs were very uniform and simple. The new ones are a complete mess. Both legs and both arms are different shapes and have differently shaped UV wraps, as well as stretched and skewed. So I'm going to have to draw and bend every pinstripe by hand. Keep in mind the old version seemed lighter because the shoulders / upper chest and top side of arms are textured to be brighter by Overkill's design. The new textures have the same shading all over.
I think he should look a bit more on drugs the way Jimmy does. Jacket is from the 80's. You tell me that boy isn't on coke.
As far as I know Jacket on Hotline Miami never was a drug addict. I think he's only real addiction was definitely Pizza. You can pretty much tell by looking at he's apartment. I'm surprised he isn't any fat yet.

Also god the bikes are garbage, their collision models feels larger than their actual model, they sound nothing like actual cruisers and they've got the same weird handling of the cars (which is exacerbated by the design of the stretch of road you're riding down).

the bikes in day 1 of the biker heist handle like absolute fucking garbage and overkill should have put more polish into their shitty controls rather than finding the best places for snipers to ass blast you from all angles while your retarded teammates run around like chickens with their heads cut off and are raped by the oncoming torrent of police units that is all

I'm afraid the pinstripes aren't perfect, but the UV wraps are so stretched and skewed on the legs, I could only do so much. Regardless, there we are.
I might try with Quixel's suite to help you. Character textures are still in the same old folder?
Yeah same folder, the new character textures even have the same file names.
I might try with Quixel's suite to help you. Character textures are still in the same old folder?
Go ahead, I wouldn't mind. My largest problem was the legs because their UVs are whack. Perfectly fine from a flat texture standpoint, but my pinstripes would have to be laid out in a way that I would only be able to fit so many, and have areas without stripes. But it worth a shot if you find another way. Compare the old textures to the new model textures. It wasn't fun working this out. To anyone who's in the Facepunch Payday 2 Discord Channel, I have created a new channel so people can post their Steam Profile links. If you wish, post your link so that others can add you and (hopefully) get games going. Place is a bit of a ghost town right now, seeing as maybe one fifth of the current members are actually active.
