1. The only useful thing is dynamite which is basically a grenade that can't be shot down by cops. Longbow is worse than crossbow, Peacemaker is no better than Bronco and Winchester is outclassed by WA2000
2. Necessary if you use AK/CAR guns a lot (duh), all of them may reach perfect stats with the DLC. Achievements may be unlocked by SAM.
3, 4. Not needed unless you desperately need to host.

Huh, I have never experienced a game crash in unmodded Payday 2? Unless you mean a server crash or a crash caused by conflicting mods.

Bad news is you have to extract all of the game's assets.

Good news is overkill put all of Jacket's dialog in one folder instead of bunching it up with all of the game's voice lines.

The folder is soundbanks/streamed/char_jacket

Also most DLC heists aren't worth grabbing if you don't host, the only ones I'd reccomend for the guns is Hotline Miami (3 really good SMGs) and Golden Grin for the cavity, although that's iffy

Why play any games? Its for the challenge and coop for me. I pretty much never play solo or pubs, only with actual friends.
Lower difficulties are only worth playing if you're doing a cheesey build. Stealth maps are fun if you're into that too, more challenging that shooting everything though.

you're missing the most important part
levelling to 100 and then doing it all again 25 times

and grinding for weapon mods and masks that you can only get through random drops
and being called a faggot for bringing the wrong tools to Death wish

and complaining on a forum about the company

personally I'll always be playing Payday mainly because it's an action co-op heist game, and it's either this or GTA Online and this I can play as Jacket
and the soundtrack is fucking great
and when you get a good build holy shit it is it fun to tear through hordes
there's a staggering amount of gun variance and a pretty good amount of build variance to ensure there's lots of new possibilities, 200 hours in and I'm messing arounda ll the time with guns I've never touched and still finding ways to have a ball

Not necessarily, the cavity is rather effective, accurate, good damage good rate of fire and a fast reload but sounds like an old man feebly coughing up marshmallows at the enemy.

On the other hand the minigun sounds like a lead typhoon and you can almost hear Arnie yelling in your head as you mow down wave after wave of those bastards... for all of 3 seconds before your ammo runs dry and you gotta reload.

The Cavity's useless these days. It does less damage than the AK7.62, AMR-16, etc while having less ammo and being locked to semi-auto only. It is pretty much the only gun in the game right now that is objectively outclassed by anything else.

Not really, the cavity actually has garbage stats since the weapon rebalance. It's basically a pistol that's not affected by pistol skills.

The only advantage the Cavity has over it is more mag capacity, and if I really wanted to I could give the FAL the 40-round mag to raise its to 55 at the cost of only having 96 accuracy.

Unless you're exclusively running a high concealment build and don't want to use any of the other high concealment primaries (The various bows/crossbows, akimbo pistols, etc), there's really no point to having it.

I personally can't handle any of the "carbine" type weaponry like a DMR kit or M308
I'm just not careful enough with my shots and I end up having to rely on my secondary

Although a DMR AMR16 is fucking nonsense how good it is
