If you see "BitsOfSkin" as a host, just don't join, you usually learn that the hard way, the guy's a douche.

It was an Alesso heist DW. He also banned LWBV. Both are very useful on DW but no armor is the only build
What a fucking looney. Jesus, do people really get this arrogant at some point when they play a game? I'm happy he kicks people so they don't have to deal with his retardation, jesus.

http://imgur.com/dmjHTF8 he literally just wants people to know he's an asshole edit: fuck it i suck at bb codes
can we not stalk random people's profiles thanks
I recentrly started exclusively playing Bodhi because it seems to make people mad and I'm falling in love with the guy
I liked the idea of pre-planning, but without knowing some of the random stuff that happens, its hard to account for it. Imagine if we could buy an asset that tells us where the vault entrance is on Big Bank? That'd change what escape I'd use. I think one problem is that lots of the options are just upgrades rather than side grades (and sometimes they're not even better.) I played Bomb: Dockyard last night and the boat escape isn't useful if you also want to go for loot in the main area, but it costs extra favours.

Generally super toxic.
I got bored. I got a video editor. I got the ambition to make shitposts.
Summary of yesterday's stream https://www.reddit.com/r/paydaytheheist/comments/4qrw6a/overkill_jules_plays_payday_2_with_the_cinematics/
I'm really disappointed to hear that they're basically abandoning pre-planning. And duh, everybody picked the same damn things, because much like guns and skills many patches ago, certain options were simply more feasible than others because some scenarios Overkill didn't balance each one fairly. Big Bank comes to mind, it's pretty easy to see why everybody picks Bus Stop, because your other alternatives are either blowing the wall and then having to deal with constant respawning snipers for some arbitrary reason, or you backtrack a second time (Winters being the first time you have to backtrack) to the lobby, and ferry ALL the bags to the roof, with or without the aid of a zipline. Elevator is actually pretty solid for both loud and stealth though, most people stick with Bus though simply because it's hardwired. This isn't always the case though, and there are some heists where preplanning feels equally viable regardless what you choose. Them just slowly moving away from it irritates me, and it seems like an easy way out instead of just going back and improving it where it needs help, and adding it where it could be a lot more meaningful.

The only heists that have preplanning done right are the bomb heists and golden grin casino imo, everything else is picking the same assets. Unless you want to have some variety on big bank, but I don't know many people that want to use thermite for fun
The heists made by Lion Game Lion (The Bomb heists and Golden Grin Casino) have much more satisfying pre-planning than those made by Overkill. I'm sorry but that's just evidence that Overkill just can't get pre-planning right where it's definitely not a problem in the concept itself but in its execution. In other words... Overkill, just get better at making pre-planning.
too bad that Golden Grin and Bomb Heists are unplayably bad
too bad that Golden Grin and Bomb Heists are unplayably bad
The Bomb heists are okay, Forest is only somewhat bumpy because somebody thought it would be funny to spawn like 20 blue SWAT immediately after you get the bomb, and they all proceed to snipe you from 40m away with their powerful SMGs. I agree that Golden Grin can be somewhat unplayable though. The performance I get on that map is abysmal. I'm used to my FPS hovering around 70-85 during large battles on other heists, but Golden Grin basically never goes higher than 63, and likes to hover more around 40 once the police start entering the casino floor and you're protecting the drill. None of the optimizations Overkill have done have improved my performance on this heist, so I barely play it.

Overly long and is actually easier to have two guys sitting doing nothing while 2 guys do all of the stealthing. Loud is pretty intolerable. The first step, getting the C4, is insane on paper because apparently they went into a heist expecting a casino to have C4. You can use the Loud entry to alleviate this, but this eats up SO many favors that you NEED for van escape or for the million things with the drill. The drill is too much micromanagement for it to be fun, and hearing Bain talk about how it's the greatest invention in human history is a little bit questionable when it can't run for more than 60 seconds without needing water or to be plugged into something. And yeah, the framedrops. Whatever it is about Golden grin I can't get it to run smoothly at ALL. Half an hour of work loud or stealth for a payout that's good, but not as fun as I'd get from a Big Bank or Hotline Miami. [editline]3rd July 2016[/editline] I notice as well, compared to BB / Hotline / Hoxout, I almost never see a GGC in the lobby menu at all, which suggests it's not terribly popular.
The favors are a bit restrictive. I remember thermite drill and the C4 escape in big bank being impossible to pick at the same time, which would be fun for recreating FWB at a time when FWB wasn't in the game [editline]2nd July 2016[/editline] Infact iirc you were forced into using heli escape if you used thermite. Not worth it. Heli is by far one of the worst things I've experienced. It adds a ton of time required to get all bags, and the most risk

I've literally been standing right in front of the fucking power box, and desync will allow an unseen law enforcer on my screen to unplug the power line. Basically, you either need a good connection so you see almost exactly what the host sees, or you'll end up having the power cut numerous times because unseen enemies that aren't relayed properly on your screen are cutting the power before you have a fair chance to shoot them. And the best escape for Golden Grin I feel is using the blimp. The blimp escape basically allows you to secure everything almost immediately after you collect it, all you need to do is throw the stuff out the hole you came in, have a man above to grab it, then he throws it right on top of the drill to secure it. It's very fast, and it works incredibly well if you've got a host who understands that strategy. It's cheaper than the van escape too, so you're actually able to afford more important drill upgrades. Maybe not start with C4 though unless you make some sacrifices on the drill. I think van is really only good if you don't have a full roster of players as it's safer, but there is a lot more bag hauling, just a little less than the limo escape. The limo escape is somewhat bearable too if you use the same strategy for the blimp, as tossing it out the hole cuts down the hauling time by at least half assuming the average player thinks your only option is hauling it through the vault door and up into the control center.
So I finally got to watch Jonh Wick since it was actually on Netflix now. And now I'm wondering, why do we need more people in the Payday gang again? when we literally have the boggeyman himself that can kill 3 people with a fucking pencil and another guy that managed to kill a entire police station all by himself. I don't think you can get any better than this.
Why does justice league need all those super OP heroes when they have superman
So I finally got to watch Jonh Wick since it was actually on Netflix now.
It is? Can't find it on there, only shows things related to John Wick. Or do you mean Steam and not Netflix?
It's probably Netflix Brazil [editline]2nd July 2016[/editline]
superman is usually off saving some other galaxy while other league members do shit for earth or whatever, or in some cases theres a threat larger than superman and he needs others to do shit for him since hes too busy distracting the threat
Maybe but it's rhetorical. Why have one ultra badass if you can have like 50
I hate John wick in payday 2 because as hardened as Wick is he doesn't seem like the kinda guy to be shooting cops, ya know
He seemed pretty ready to fire on the one he was friends with if it came to it Edit: Are you certain you would've known about/seen it without this promo though?
So I tricked a guy with god mode on into killing himself. I called him on tanking three dozers and four cloaker kicks and said he couldn't be downed. He crouched with an empty health bar for about 10 seconds, toggled, then promptly died to prove a point. He got picked up the first time but nobody bothered the second time. He hung around in spectate for a few minutes until he realized nobody was reviving him. :v:
He seemed pretty ready to fire on the one he was friends with if it came to it Edit: Are you certain you would've known about/seen it without this promo though?
it had Keanu Reeves in it. I was seeing it no matter what Didm't even watch the trailer, phoned up my friend adn said there was a movie where Keanu Reeves kills people over a dog and we saw it I got into Payday 2 because of Jacket.

He's an honest-to-goodness videogame sadist: he gets off on issuing commands to other players and kicking them when they don't do what he says. His associated images and links were really unpleasant stuff- torture porn and the like. Don't play with TRIBE. I'd also like to see preplanning stick around, but it's almost impossible to design in a way that doesn't rapidly produce optimization responses.
