Shit, thanks. I thought I'd change that in the weapon modding screen.
that multibarreled Mosconi reminds me that I still have a weapon tribute to ship as a mod
Can you make custom fps anims yet?

I can already see Lolnoob sweating profusely in anticipation of my constant harassment :buddy:
Thanks for the support on shooting star so far, currently sits at about 10k positive ratings (that's 91-90% of the total ratings) with 20k views

From all the skins I have seen and voted on (quite a lot of them), It is the best looking one I have seen.
Heck it is the only one I have seen that has the possibility of being chosen as the legendary skin for the community safe.

I agree with NaRyan, it's aces. A tutorial for your design process would help some of the mess that's happening elsewhere in the workshop. In particular, a lot of folks are only designing (or screenshotting) for one set of mods.
Again,I doubt the legendary will be a community skin, especially if it doesn't have custom attachment.
Cant wait for HappyHead's shooting star to become a legendary skin. I wonder what shit overkill will slap on it to make a good looking skin become absurdly ugly.

We still have until the end of September until the community safe comes out so I hope by that time the community will come up with something good.

Its mostly common sense and not being a retard, making attractive thumbnails, being aware of what looks bad and what looks good, not rushing or half assing work and of course knowing stuff like deisgn theory and composition will help too.

Only bad thing about it becoming a legendary skin is that you can't mod it, so all those unique stickers for each part of the gun wouldn't even be usable.
To be honest there's a bunch of decent/cool skins on the workshop.
There's the pixel war ones, shooting star, the casino themed skins, and a bunch of other neat stuff like that mega plague doctor GL40,etc.
I hope we dont see a giant return of pixel skins tbh
stuff like the cloaker was cool but I'd like to see more traditional styles outside of pixelart

Well the Bronco can't equip gadgets, so that's a blessing already.

I kinda feel like trying my had at this, but at the same time i don't
id try my hand at skin making but my imagination has been dead for a couple years now, so I'll do fuck all.
That was unexpected. Now I am on a fence, trade that crap or not...

So does anyone knows why my PD2 crashes on launch? I removed all the old mods i had after installation
It's a shame that the Gold Veil is only for the AK rifle
It's one of the only good AK skins at the moment

Honestly it's really bizarre to me that the AK, AK7.62, Krinkov and Akimbo Krinkovs all have separate, non-interchangable skins when they're like 95% the same models.
For that matter, why do weapons and their akimbo variants get separate skins in general? "No you can't put this on just ONE Crosskill, don't be ridiculous. You have to have it on a pair."

Because technically this counts as separate weapons.

The skinning system appears to require a different file for any kind of model difference. This includes the difference between single and akimbo weapons. Remember that the whole model/texture system wasn't originally built with skins in mind.
Eh, i guess i'm not going to be playing PD2 soon. Tried to fix my problem but no luck. No idea why it's happenning

Have you tried completely reinstalling the game?(Like, removing every folder related to the game and config files on %appdata%)

I think is some mod file that is somewhere fucking it up. It's weird because i played PD2 on this same pc and it was fine

The thing is, the skins still work with models they aren't intended for.
I use WAC to swap bits around and use parts from different guns and it has not caused a single issue with skins. RPK stock on the Saiga, Galil folding stock on the AK and AK7.62, AK7.62 mag on the AK, AK/7.62 foregrip and barrel on the Krinkov, AMCAR foregrip on the CAR-4, Bootleg stock on the CAR-4, they all work fine. That and DMC's script to let skins be put on any weapon tell me that the only thing preventing these skins from being usable with multiple weapons is Overkill saying they have to be on one specific weapon only.

Remove all your mods them. Mods break over time.
