Inspire is pretty much a required skill in my book and takes a much higher priority than speed
Plus my crew usually constantly inspires everyone anyway so i am not even that slow in the end
I also don't roam aroundm and usually hold down one spot, plus i barely play heists with far away escapes
Look can i just do it my own way and you do it your way, it's not like you're gonna end up playing with me since i exclusively use a few from my friends list :v:

Pardon me, as a noob of Payday : TH (as in, I never played it), what is this green harvest ? It looks the same as that default Payday 2 heist. Is it mostly the same ?

It's a first in the modding scene, we've created a pseudo-custom job, with unique AI presets, new loot, and some small new events, as well as making it tougher. It's a first, a technical achievement, if you will.
It's mostly to stress test our system, and to show off what we can accomplish at a very small baseline. It also comes with a brand new contractor, Shatter.

Have you considered that they could've racked up those 1k hours way back and wouldn't recommend the game in it's current state to anyone looking to purchase it

I wouldn't recommend it to new people unless they are willing to follow the dlc train, but i myself have got my worth out of it, no regrets
I also opened my goat safe and i expected to get much worse than this

Hopefully the COP owners are enjoying their new masks. We will soon start work on the last five of them but are curious to what you all want to see now that the first ones are made.
But first off, the idea behind these new megamasks was never to rehash exactly what the first four did, good as they were they weren't exactly computer friendly and we received alot of feedback regarding dropping framerate when using them. Also the process of adding glowing cracks and particles to an existing mask does not really allow for a ton of variety and we want to make sure these masks are different from each other, so that there's something for everyone. That being said, we hear you regarding the "mega-treatment" for all the heisters original masks, and it is something we will look into for future updates (free updates that is), not necessarily related to COP.

I know that many mods work by completely replacing/overwriting game assets- if someone installs the Shatter Heists, do they replace ingame assets so that, for example, Bank Heist: Cash becomes unavailable?

The heist does not replace or effect any existing heist, nor will any future ones. The heist is completely standalone.

That's fantastic, and good to know- I recommend indicating that wherever you're communicating about the mod, and it will significantly increase the number of people using it.
Just found out why my game struggles to get past 30fps: it was hoxhud all along :what:
Uninstalled it and the game went back to rocking 60fps on all heists. Sure I'm curious of how an UI can just boggles down the whole game while its only function was to display information.

Can't have a clear answer only because the hud is close source. But I would guess some of the many features that includes the hud could be tanking your frames.
I wonder if they actually started working on the safehouse customization.
I mean i'ts OVK,they'll probably start working on it 2 weeks before release but come on.

That's not how development works. Either it was relatively complete when they announced the release or they started immediately after. Look at how long stuff that leaks is kept in the game before their actual release.

That actually is pretty clever, it gives the illusion of moving but without the game-breaking bugs. There's no way I'll believe that Diesel can handle movement like that without fucking up.
reminds me of that train in fallout 3 that is an NPC running super fast with a train head in the background
The elevator in the Washington Monument in Fallout 3 works the same way if I'm not mistaken. It's a rather common trick, because moving the players is a source of more glitches and problems than moving the whole place instead.

A model & fire effect spawns in front of the door, big enough to hold the dozer(s).

As seen in L4D2 in the elevator part of Dead Center. I think they couldn't have gone the Payday route though, because you can see the outside of the building.

It probably could, it's just that Overkill isn't good at fixing glitches that would result from a working elevator.
