If you use them tactically, they instakill bulldozers, and if you place them where cloakers spawn (e.g. the edges of Rats - Day 3) then its one less cloaker to worry about. Its good when used properly, but not easy to appreciate.
Here's the thing, it only works if the dozer is the first to trip the mine. 9 times out of 10, it's going to be a lesser cop that you did not want to set off the mine, thus ruining your "clever" trap. So unless you set a mine on the ground and turn the laser off or strictly use it for C4, the mine becomes a waste.
Grinder is something that's need to be nerfed
I wish people wouldn't. Sokol is pretty much my least favourite character, the only reason I bought his pack was for the grinder perks and it would suck if overkill suddenly make them crap after I paid money for them.

One way they could make Tripmines/C4 more viable would be to copy the new Enforcer Tree and just have them replenish-able through ammo drops (at maybe Thantos level efficiency or worse), I'd definitely use them more if I could be certain I could C4 various shit AND be able to plant them everywhere, certainly make them more useful in longer/endless heists

I'm sure they will do something to make sentries and C4 a bit more viable. I imagine them both being in separate trees or something of the like.
After playing with Jimmy a bit, he's grown onto me He's a really different person in comparison to the rest of the crew
After playing with Jimmy a bit, he's grown onto me He's a really different person in comparison to the rest of the crew
He's kinda what I expected Wolf to be based on his original description [editline]7[/editline] What ever happened to Wolf anyway, he was supposed to be this regular businessman turned Coked-up psychopath, who couldn't tell fiction from reality and spent his time creating various crazy devices as the crew's technician. But in-game he's just sorta... well a guy with a Swedish accent who occasionally screams extra loud at specials
Then buff things up to grinder.
This mentality made PAYDAY what it is right now - a game that lacks any challenge, even on the highest difficulty. Constant buffs aren't right.
To me the reason armor sucks on DW is that the game's suppression effect fucks you over. All these perks that increase the amount of armor you regen aren't helpful when one cop with a pistol is just taking potshots when you are behind cover. It's not until the cop stops shooting at you and an additional 3-5 secs of not being shot at is when your armor begins to regen. You can be left without getting your armor back indefinitely. I think armorer should get the ability to ignore the suppression effect so that the time you stop taking damage the regen timer starts. You take damage before the or during regen begins, the timer will reset, you stop regen, and you have to hold out till regen begins again. It's the suppression system that the cops use against you that makes armor shit on DW besides the stupid amount of damage the cops can do.
Edit: this free/sale period is our stand in for the Spring Break update. Source
That's the free event ? Geez... I'm pretty disappointed. I dunno, standard Payday events have more than a character and two heists... Where's Sydney ? Where's the safehouse ?
Bulletproof is overpowered? 255 armor can't even stand 5 shots on deathwish. Grinder is something that's need to be nerfed, not armor Armor has always been inferior to dodge/grinder and the last thing it needs to be put in the trash is a nerf
Armor has outclassed dodge for quite a while, ever since the meta switched to being focused around health regen. Muscle and Infiltrator are top-tier perk decks by packing very good EHP and health regen, Grinder is the best dodge deck but not as good because its EHP is low for somewhat higher regen, making it much riskier. The loss of the 15% from bulletproof is worth 25.5 armor. This will not trash the playstyle but it will go a bit towards bringing it in line with the dodge playstyle. [editline]26th March 2016[/editline]
Or you could try out OBS as well, it's a streaming and recording app that's free.
Does OBS support ShadowPlay-like features for AMD users? (Namely, session background record, constantly record last x minutes, record on demand?)
Did anyone figure out how to make free flight work again?
afaik it works fine, but conflicts with beardlib because beardlib implements something similar with its editor interface.
I still love playing this game, its a shame that Overkills actions turned most people away from it
I still love playing this game, its a shame that Overkills actions turned most people away from it
To me it's that and a lack of challenge. Overkill is a breeze unless you get and DW is too much of an investment at times
Buying the pack for something that can easily be nerfed was a pretty bad decision.
To be fair, Literally anything in the game could be nerfed easily at any time- doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.
Are there any bugs in the existing game, big or small, that you'd like addressed? I've got a format down for reporting in the steam forums that seems to get a rapid response-many of the fixes in the recent patch were in response to my posts.
Do missing arm and leg hit boxes count?
Nah, they know about them. z-fighting, voids in the map, skills not triggering, soundclip errors, that sort of thing.
Several guns like the Micro Uzi have no bullets in their magazines or chambers while reloading, inconsistent with the "fancy wowie bullets in da magazine first person update". That is about the only notable visual inconsistency and thus "bug" I can think of, if you are interested I'll compile a list of guns with visual errors like this.

Screenshots would also be great, otherwise I can compile them.
Actually the Uzi has a bullet in the mag, wowe. But sure I'll keep an eye out for minor bugs to list.
I'm pretty sure some guns are missing the anim transition between downed state and idle. Meaning they are invisible when you get up, making it quite hard to aim. Only way to fix that is to trigger another animation like shooting or reloading. The only gun that comes to mind that does that is the street sweeper though.. pretty sure there's a few others but I can't remember them

The most annoying thing I can think of is when you get downed, your line of fire goes off-center. Take any weapon, slap laser on, get downed with laser activated and look at the laser.
The Lion's Roar has fucked up Ironsights [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/528418381440776217/80AF70B9B4B59377CFC9561FE796F30759CCAAA2/[/t] It's Famas 2.0
Don't know how they managed to break em.

At least they didn't do what Left 4 Dead did and have a constant sway
