If they're planning on recreating Green Bridge & Diamond Heist, I only hope they'd add heist-exclusive outfits for heisters, too. The diamond heist's outfits were cool as hell.

Especially with stuff like Boiling Point, we're in fucking Siberia running around in just a suit?
to be completely honest heist specific outfits, or just more outfit choices in general would be kinda cool, i don't see why were always in suits in PD2, like hell they even added a new line of dialogue to Undercover mentioning that we were "Pretty well dressed for repairmen" I highly doubt it would be that hard to implement new outfits for heists.
well they didn't for counterfeit so I doubt they will for the other remakes
If I recall correctly, someone (Coyoteze I think?) said that suit models are too complex to modify at leisure, so adding new suits would be a lot of effort and probably buggy.
well they didn't for counterfeit so I doubt they will for the other remakes
I hope it's going to be implemented for all heists later on. I mean.. we have mask customization, skins for weapons, car customization soon (according to leaks). Would be kinda weird NOT to be able to customize our clothes after all that.
As I recall, isn't the problem that the player model consists of literally everything that can possibly be carried or worn being part of that one model, and they just show or hide the relevant pieces of the model? So adding that stuff means adding another bunch of stuff to the player model. I recall coyoteze posting the model at one point showing everything at once.

As well armor is an issue
Well, theres 14 of them now, Jacket and Bodhi have different outfits right? Anybody else think Counterfeit's printing feature is a bit too difficult for the value counterfeit cash is worth? I'm glad we're able to print money, but between defending two power positions that are often in the view of snipers, a SWAT van turret, the proximity to police spawn points, and then also defending the printer itself from being shut off manually, you'd think counterfeit cash would be worth more than just above 100,000 a bundle on Overkill. The value of Santa's workshop seems more appropriate for what Counterfeit cash should be given the difficulty of making it, but it's far easier making it in Santa's Workshop. Seems like the 'survival' map difficulty is all over the place when it comes to risk/reward.

He also said that different heist outfits are possible (though I still doubt raincoats are happening). Also, as PaperMartin pointed out, they made separate equipment bags like meds into new models.

By leaving one of the gates into the printing room closed, and by having good power box spawns (some power boxes are easily covered from range), locking down defense points becomes pretty easy. For example, both the poolhouse and beach side power boxes can be covered by a skilled player from the same location. If the turret doesn't spawn on that side, two players working together can cover them very easily. I suspect that the original plan for the heist would have had limited ink and paper spawns, with resupplies by chopper a la Cook Off. This could have drastically increased the difficulty of running the printer. It's a shame such a setup didn't stick around- money might have been worth more that way.

On the topic of different player models, they managed to show that it's possible to replace the cops with different ones, and it shouldn't be too hard to do different heist outfits, you just need to model them around the basic body shape of the suits, e.g if you're doing the sneaking clothes from PD:TH Diamond heist. Or the rain coats, then just crudely and lazily add in the bodygroups of all the items.

based purely on how many posts I see on various sites about it, I think different outfits for different missions would be worth the extra effort. It's obviously something the players want to see- wouldn't be surprised if outfits start showing up in safes one day.

Outfits would be cool but as it stands suit colour is the only way you can tell any of the heisters apart please don't take that away from me
Outfits would be cool but as it stands suit colour is the only way you can tell any of the heisters apart please don't take that away from me
do you play with your hud and overlays turn off or something? you can see people a mile away with their names above them.
I just like the consistency that most heisters beside Jacket and Bodhi have I rather prefer the suits
Am I alone in liking that portion of Pimped Out Getaway that plays after the assault ends significantly more than the rest of the track? I kind of wish a whole track was made like that instead.
