Is it just me, or is the Berserker Aced and Frenzy Aced combo going to be stupidly overpowered? It kind of sounds like it to me. I love the high-risk-high-reward playstyle. Health pool of a porcelain doll and damage output of a hydrogen bomb? Sign me the fuck in!
...There's a Payday Secret reference in Jimmy's profile. Now I'm sure that Overkill is just messing with me...
What exactly is the reference? I don't see anything that stands out in his profile.
This looks most excellent. Jacket build, anyone?
Oh fuck yes pistol mag plus. Stryk gets even better!
What exactly is the reference? I don't see anything that stands out in his profile.
Deputy Callahan was a troll who successfully derailed the first secret hunt for about 6 months.
So what is fugitive's deployable now?
So what is fugitive's deployable now?
looks like it doesn't have one anyone notice that the akimbo skills just add stats? they don't mention "unlocks" akimbo? seems like akimbo might just be available without a skill/perk now
It seems to me that everyone is going to have all unlockables from the start, and shape charges are going to be separated from the trip mines.
For Roblox, it's pretty alright. You really can't compare the real Payday 2 to this, this is basically re-doing Call of Duty in GMOD. I don't think any Roblox game has smooth animations, the best I've seen is some Battlefield clone which is actually pretty alright.
Selling my payday gmod addons for $20 to be paid in D2JSP forum gold /s
[t]http://media.overkillsoftware.com/2016/04/NewFugiSkills150416.jpg[/t] Fugitive if no one else seen it.
rip Pistol Messiah.
rip Pistol Messiah.
It got better in my opinion. Can use any gun, 1 self-revive every 4 downs. I've never used all 3 charges, personally. You should only use Messiah in critical situations anyway, when no one is able to revive you or if your entire team gets downed at the same time, and that rarely happens with all them inspires around.

The other problem is you use your charge in your first down you will have to use a doctor bag to recover that charge, so your options are waste a use only to recover a charge and and down or wait to get down more before healing but at the risk of no charge in case everyone goes down. Also there are those situations the moment you go down you kill an enemiy at the same time.

so, unless i missed it, did they just axe moving target ? aw, even if it was awful for being a top tier skill, i kind of enjoyed what it does
well, in the crew I play with, we have 1 player with pistol messiah, inspire ace and swan song. if we are in a clutch situation, all 4 of us are downed, the player with messiah gets up, (then usually gets shot into pieces triggering swan song) inspires somebody, and they try to clean the room and make it safe, we have gotten out of situations where for other teams would have been a failure. and now you can recharge your pistol messiah without going into custody is a HUGE buff, but most people are complaining how bad players are just going to eat the medbags even if none of them has played with these changes.
so, unless i missed it, did they just axe moving target ? aw, even if it was awful for being a top tier skill, i kind of enjoyed what it does
They made it a Tier 2 Ghost skill and merged it with parts of Daredevil, Sprinter and Cat Burglar.
Maybe when going for medbags (in general, not for Messiah specifically), they can change the interact text to reflect how many downs you're recovering and maybe colorize it red when you have 0-1 downs as to indicate that you're very likely just wasting a charge.
The Frenzy skill would make ictv armorer a walking tank. You take 60% less damage, even a deathwish sniper needs 3 shots to bring you down. The only downside is that you only have 30% hp, which doesn't matter much since you would be relying heavily on your armor most of the time.
I realized that the Chains model from this video was actually a retextured Mitchell: So I decided to recreate it for no good reason. Colors are slightly off right now (and he doesn't have the afro): [t]http://i.imgur.com/JpGyHfv.png[/t] I think they also just straight up applied the Chains head texture to Mitchell's head, which probably looks something like this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/PNKK4VA.png[/t]
So, now that the skill trees have all been shown, is what comes next a beta? I'm pretty eager to test the proposed changes as soon as possible.
I can't wait to use an as my "get the fuck up" gun.
So, now that the skill trees have all been shown, is what comes next a beta? I'm pretty eager to test the proposed changes as soon as possible.
with overkill's current speed, we'd be lucky to get an announcement in 2 weeks, then a beta 2 more weeks

Who can tell me what heists have the best experience rates relative to the amount of time and effort they require? I'm going to try and get my infamy up again, but I'm not sure what heists I should primarily rotate with, and I find the projected amounts heists say they give in experience always tend to be off by significant amounts. I pretty much only play on public servers on Overkill difficulty, but sometimes I play offline solo. Usually for stealth, and that's pretty much the only time I play Death Wish.

After running this, stealthing Election Day (on DW for more XP, if you cn swing it) is popular for its XP bonus. After that, things widen out quite a bit. Skilled groups can now run Armored Transport heists very quickly, which makes for good XP. It's best to go for the heists you find the most fun, though. Grinding away after a certain point will sap your desire to play at all.

That's the series of heists I've avoided like the plague because it's rare to join a game where people are prepared to handle all the drilling and deposit boxes. Never would have expected them to offer good rates.. with the right preparation. But yeah, I figured regardless it's important to mix things up and play the heists that are fun. I don't usually grind the same heists over and over again.
Armored Transport heists are more bearable if you have at least one guy with the portable saw. Chances are that you have to be the guy with the saw because everyone else just wants to blow shit up.
Unless transports have been buffed, imho they're really only worth it if you absolutely positively don't want to spend more than 10 minutes on a loud job. Preparation makes it easy enough to get through them in 5 minutes or less, sure, but the pay is still fuck-all.
