To be fair Clover's "gimmick" wasn't her nationality, sure she had shamrocks on the corner of her mask (pride in her heritage in all) but her mask was still meant to be a mockery of what one would see as "beauty" (which was a really damn cool imo). Cracked, overly botoxed lips, and the large amounts of makeup signify this. And I think her dialogue at least has enough personality in it to distinguish her as her own character.

I can't say the same for Bonnie because I don't play her as often, but I remember her having some occasionally funny lines/a bit of personality.

And, hell, Sydney has no "blatant" references to her nationality besides the mask, kind of, I don't think it's as outright blatant as Bonnie's. She's got an interesting design with the rolled up sleeves to show off her tattoos, open suit jacket with a tie, the fingerless cloves and combat boots, and to top it all off: her unique haircut that just screams "punk". If half of the things that come out of her mouth are "cunt" I would be just fine with that.

tl;dr I think Overkill has done a decent job at making their female characters diverse/having some semblance of personality and Sydney is no different

I would like to see a female Hispanic/Latin heister and it is not even because I am Brazilian, but because I always wondered how it would be it there was a character based in Zoe Saldana's (even though she is American) performance in Oliver Megaton/Luc Besson's "Colombiana", although her plot in the movie was something like a mix of Wick and Jiro's story in game.

Or maybe even Greta from the web series.

That's the silver lining of the hairstyle though, at least some of it is still flowing at the sides, even with full masks.

My gf's favourite character, Surprisingly Bonnie has very few "lol SCOTLAND!" lines. She has a few very sarcastic brave-heart quotes when she puts her mask on and that's about it.

Imo Bonnie actually has some of the funniest lines in the game.

My two favourites-
when throwing grenades: *audibly laughing* "dare ya' to pick it up!"
using inspire: "Get up mate come on, we need ya!... [i] fuck knows why! [/i]"
