Any predictions on what the new perk deck will be ? I'll go first : Each missed bullet gives your next bullet X% more damage. You regenerate Y% of your bullets dealt damage. Just spray and pray. :pudge:
Amazes me they've managed to crank out so many perk decks. I woulda run out of ideas long ago.
Some kinda deck that allows you to regenerate ammo over a period of time, even for your teammates would be neat. Obviously not for all weapons but still

Wicks looking at it like "Wonder if this provides Wi-Fi.".
He looks like a dog being shown the poop he did on the carpet. Did you do that? Bad wick. Bad!
Every time I think about getting back into Payday 2 I look at the $131.70 in unpurchased DLC and don't know where to go.
Every time I think about getting back into Payday 2 I look at the $131.70 in unpurchased DLC and don't know where to go.
I'd say wait for a sale and narrow down what you think is worth getting, because as of the new skill beta, things like explosives being a must have for Shields is a thing of the past. There are plenty of easily accessible skills which can stumble shields and makes them pretty easy to dispatch now. But seeing as we don't have a proper free explosive throwable of some kind yet, it wouldn't hurt to grab the BBQ pack when you get the chance. Heists can be hosted by others if you don't have the DLC, and character/weapon packs are pure preference bar the Gage Courier Pack, if you don't have that already.
I even own all DLC but use mostly Base game weapons, since they're all viable as long as you use them right Especially now that we got free equilavents of some of the powerfull weapons and all types, there's no real need for DLC
Does anyone know if DLC releases are normally bundled in the betas or if they are kept only in the base game ? TL;DR : Will beta players have access to Sydney as soon as she comes out ?
Usually they release betas with their next updates, though idk if that will be the case this time
They more then likely will include Sydney in the beta. As they want people to both buy the DLC and test the beta, And if Sydney does have something interesting\unique to her like her perk deck or her weapon they don't want to risk loosing a lot of people from the beta testing.
Why can't they make a CTE like what dice does? Peoples could try out rebalances, new free/paid content (which would be free to test but paid once released),etc
Also what happened to the menu change beta they had? I know a lot of people hated the new menu as it looked too "tablet\Windows 8 Metro" and Overkill said when released there would be an option to switch between the new menu and the "classic" menu. But that was the last I remember hearing about it before it was removed.
No day 1?
I wish there was some sort of a custom heist music implementation program. A program that takes an MP3 file that you have selected, and allows you to place markers for the following: a) Where stealth music begins. b) Where stealth music ends. c) Where stealth music loop begins(essentially a new beginning marker). d) Where "spotted" music begins. e) Where "spotted" music ends. f) Where pre-assault music begins. g) Where pre-assault music ends. h) Where assault music begins. i) Where assault music ends. j) Where assault music loop begins. With of course an option to preview what you've got, so you get feedback without having to go in-game a lot, just for testing. Sorry about the stretched out post, it was the only way I could get my point somewhat understandably across.
I think that it'd take a lot of work to make such a system, and i think there'd be too few people who even care about their soundtrack settings to make it worth the time put into making it work
I just want a way for modders to actually add content or whatnot to the game rather than replacing existing stuff
Another quality day playing Payday 2 Gotta love desync. Host kept on playing by himself and not restarting for everyone. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/uXz9tKI.jpg[/thumb] Rockets? You sure it's rockets? [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LkwpRfr.jpg[/thumb] Top quality ass hat players. Yes, he closed the game after he typed that. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/3xueyqK.jpg[/thumb]
Why can't they make a CTE like what dice does?
I just want a way for modders to actually add content or whatnot to the game rather than replacing existing stuff
It already exists. My understanding is it's available through beardlib.

Finale, you said "expensive" when speaking about Overkill... Everyone hide before all the gremlins come in screaming "million-dollars-hypetrain profit-with-preorders millions-of-copies 200$-of-DLC" !! :ohno:
It already exists. My understanding is it's available through beardlib.
nah, bbeardlib let you do more stuff but you still can't actually add assets, textures or anything that can't be done with just code to the game.

Well, slightly, and where stealth is concerned. In Shadow Raid, a first "stealth" part plays when you begin the heist. I think a second part plays when you enter the warehouse. And when/if you open the vault, a more upbeat part plays and loops from there. As for the loud parts, those are all contained within the "And Now We Run" song, meant for regular heists. I wish Overkill would make a more complex system than this one which has only 4 phases (Stealth - Control - Anticipation - Assault), but considering they're even too lazy to fix the volume on some of the tracks...

The way custom heists work at the moment is by having modified mission/continent files load only when selected, but they still replace something.
Yeah because fuck people who have long term memory
I never said fuck anyone. I'm just saying that whenever someone says something along the lines of "Overkill doesn't have the budget to do X" there's usually a backlash of people screaming "white knights" and pointing fingers.

Why is that- does it have something to do with the packing system?
I took a picture of the Xbox 360 Demo of Payday 2 I don't have good screen software so it's with a phone [t]http://i.imgur.com/7Kte72x.jpg[/t] This looks so fucking shit
