they'd have to recast Wolf with a new guy and re-record EVERYTHING
cloakers are literally a running joke in this game. It has to be the lengthiest amount of time they've decided to keep such a broken mechanic. they can jump through shit all the time, and given its a OHKO, it's just [I]bullshit[/I] that they are still around.

not to mention that they sometimes reset right after kicking a player, so then they're ready to swooce right over and kick someone else almost immediately

cloakers are literally only scary when you're on your own
the counter is literally "stay with your group"
their knockdowns dont even subtract from your down counter
sure if for some reason a cloaker speed kicked all 4 of your team members before any of you could land 1-2 headshots then ok maybe it might be broken
but i have never seen that occur

Don't know about your playtime, but I have. Several times.
Cloakers are designed to punish ramboers. Not being Rambo is therefore the way to not be punished by cloakers.

Yeah
but it's most likely something that's really low on their list of priorities. Best to stick with what they have for now and work on more important updates like skill rebalance and safehouse customization than casting and re-recording all of Wolf's dialogue

It's like how certain melee weapons didn't effect dozers. A fix would NOT be to 'just use something else', that would be a [I]counter [/I]according to your argument. A [I]fix [/I]would be to [I]FIX [/I]the issue and make the other melee weapons [I]WORK[/I].
A counter =/= a fix, I don't see how that's so hard to grasp

Last I checked Cloakers are made to not kick if there's only one heister standing/alive.
Also, only the WOLOLOLO knock down they perform locks them onto you. If they flip/jump kicked you down, they can kick someone else afterwards.

Even if they're not supposed to do it, they do anyway. I've had one cloaker teleport through a wall and wipe out the entire team in about five seconds many times before, it's not fun.

They fixed that in the last patch. Cloakers aren't a significant problem. If you truly find this issue is effecting your experience of the game, feel free to file a bug report.

whilst I do agree it's not functioning ideally, they have tweaked it for the better, the "repairing" phase it now has is so much better than the ungodly amount of health it used to have.
It's one of the few enemies outside of deathwish that isn't laughably easy, that forces the crew to work together to at least some degree
everything else like dozers just go down in a 1-2 shots/bursts of all sorts of weapons that are half decent due to the power creep that has happened.
the only real exception to this is winters, who while was very much a disappointment in terms of actual enemy design can have the most gameplay effect on a heist, I've seen plenty of crews fall apart because of the endless assaults and the higher damage resistance he brings

Unlocked 3 safes earlier today, all of which froze my game (had to ctrl+alt+del) and showed up pure white in my inventory... huh, okay I guess ?
I never installed any mods and have verified cache so I guess it's a problem on the game's end ?

I'm not sure that's exactly what they're going for with the design. It's really hard to say what the future will bring, especially with how busted the difficulty and overarching design currently are.

DLC adds to gameplay
skins, not so much (if you actually being that nitpicky and say boosts change gameplay, which can be obtained via different means)

winters is trivial though
all you have to do is just take a piglet, china lake, or worst case scenario a gl40 to maps he spawns on and you can kill him in seconds
the power creep on overkill is insane, nothing poses a real threat
