Notice how the hole further away, it appears to have depth to it. You're not staring straight into it at any angle. That's what the new setting does to bullet holes.
They also plan on adding it to other textures later on.

This is my favourite update ever. Thank you Overkill, for finally making the Saiga great again.
Unrelated, but I love how with the new concealment skills, it's possible to take an RPK with medium suppressor on stealth missions and only have 14 detection rating. And if you want to be Agent 47, you can now take the WA2000 and still only have 3 detection.
The performance increase you can get with tweaking settings with this new update is amazing.
New AA options look kinda weaker than pre-update FXAA. Very noticeable on any outlines.
Inspire aced nerf is really too much in my opinion. Pubbies tend to get downed every 5 seconds and the 20 seconds cooldown is unbearable. I'd rather have 50% of success and can spam it rather than this
i like this update a lot good job overkill (tho damn RIP inspire, seems like just getting basic+50% damage resist while interacting might be cheaper & more worthwhile now)
4 turrets with AP rounds on Overkill is extremely fun. You just hear a lot of "PEW-PEW-PEW" and see loads of dead cops, you dont even need to shoot anyone. Also turrets are incredibly useful against T.W.A.T. vans.
The new skill trees are so damn fun, and made Deatwish even easier, used a run and gun armor build with LMG and had almost infinite ammo and armor.
Oh, and we shoot Winters so hard that he broke, he started chasing us with infinite health.

As a person who hated RNG part with old Inspire I really appreciate the change to 100% with cooldown.
Got downed plenty of times with it failing 4-5 times in a row.
And if the player gets downed right after being inspired - 90% of times this person is another rambo idiot.

That's the upside. One guaranteed revive from a distance every 20 seconds, instead of infinite 75% chance revives.

I actually prefer it that way. IMO relying on Inspire shouts themselves is pretty stupid, like shouting behind a wall or something, completely out of danger yourself. If you wanna help a teammate up, actually commit to it: clear the room, provide cover fire, and all that. Helping up a teammate should be a team effort, rather than one guy pressing a button.
So far I'm having fun with the new skills. Although, I'm not too sure about Aggressive Reload aced, but maybe that's because I use auto-fire on all of my assault rifles and SMGs :v:
And I'm not too bothered with the Inspire change - I'd say it's rather balanced now
