Good, that's me.
Damn it's been an exhausting day, I've been the leader of roadtrip for a good part of the day, running after people complaining about griefers and trying to judge when to set new waypoints. People didn't hate the way I did it at least. Very fun though even though I didn't want to be leader, I remained so because there were few people I know to be trustworthy players still in the faction.
And all this after a week of almost non-stop doing college work. I wonder how things will change when JC2MP is officially released.
Flying an attack helicopter + coming across a densely occupied oil rig in the middle of the water = much, much fun to be had. Its a good thing there was so much destructables on the rig, it made it so much more satisfying.

Works great in aeroplanes, not so well in boats.

If someone tries to grapple onto your plane or heli you can do /woet to shake them off

Races give quite a bit of money for the first 8 places (10K for first, and 75% goes to the next person, and 75% of that to the next, and so on)
Also, yeah. Devs will also give money for no reason whatsoever at random times.

Yeah I know, Ive been meaning to only spend money and stuff on getting to the heli spawns since its cheaper, but I still take the quick and easy way of spending 200 times the money to simply spawn myself one

Also also, I'll likely be hosting a server with boost for air vehicles. And something similar to /woet maybe.
the spider rico race is where most of my money came from. It's just grappling through the city but it's really easy to get first place on for some reason. the skydiving ones are fairly easy too.
unfortunately most of the time its boring cars racing and those are really hard due to lag and other players.
Anybody else having random crashes in JC2-MP? I can play for like 2 minutes, good framerate, then a sudden crash to desktop.

Oh so that's what that was. I was confused how I would start doing rapid loops around helis and get pelted into the ground for an instant death over and over.
I usually don't jack people at all, at most I'll sit on top of their car and shoot at anything we pass. Most of the drivers just keep going, some try to purposefully crash the car in an effort to kill me. Naturally they are a lot less comfortable when I'm holding onto their heli or plane. Only times I try to jack is when it's one of those APC looking things with the mounted autocannons, usually leads to a jacking fight.
Speaking of that, who's idea was it that when you get carjacked, you get teleported a few feet in front of the car so you instantly get run over and die.
the most useful skill to have on the freeroam servers is knowing how to hijack a helicopter
its so much fun to throw someone out of their heli when they're hovering over the mile high club trying to shoot people
Nothing beats hijacking a jet midflight.

You increase the chances of a crash if you're in a highly populated area. Like at the Dish when Philpax announced a $1 Million prize for killing him there. Or the airport when more than 2 people explode at the same time.

Oh god he did it again. $2.5 mil this time, and on the tallest skyscraper in the city. He also disabled the teleport there.

Yeah, I was able to play fine when the server's population dropped down to ~500. Finally crashed when I teleported to desertap2, which everybody was fighting at.
Test has been extended until release.
