Still feel like a complete fucking dipshit for getting normal RDR instead of the fancy GOTY edition that came with all the DLC/Undead Nightmare
But no
I had to buy the first one I saw and get everything separate because I'm mentally retarded or something

I bought RDR when it came out, and each DLC the day they came out. So I ended up paying out the ass for it. But it was worth it.
Its totally worth it but I wish I just got the full one that came with everything
And the cool as fuck shiny box art
Might give in and buy it the next time I see it
It's a shame it isn't out on the PC. It's one of the best games I have on the Xbox.
If it ever came out on the steam,I would buy it all over again though.
I feel like replaying RDR but I know i'll just end up getting annoyed with the racing and the travelling across country on horseback again.

I want to replay it but the one thing I don't want to do is herding. So damn annoying!

I just got past that part on my newest save, West Dickens missions are annoying as well.

I found raising your revolver in the air and firing like in the old west helps move the cattle. Or maybe I just like to think I am really a cowboy, try it out though.
Got damn I hate those max-level players on free roam. They just ride up to you spinning around on their horse and headshotting you with the LeMat Tom 200 metres away, even on hardcore. There's pretty much no way to counter that horseback spinning thing they do unless you have dead eye.
Why is every max-level player I've met in this game such a massive cunt.
They'll have to release the PC version someday right?
Right?
:suicide:
Maybe
Maybe
It's been pretty much 3 years. The chances of it happening are non-existent.
It's a shame because there's actually a very limited amount of western-type games on PC at the moment, the most prominent being Call of Juarez.
I dont get it why there is so little western-type games.
Speaking of PC port, imagine how awesome it'd be with modding. Could do some Cowboy RPing or something, damn that'd be awesome. Being the Sheriff of Armadillo, chasing bad guys, lassoing them... god damn it rockstar

Think of all the pony John Marston mods we could have had!
[sp]that reason alone kinda makes me happy there isn't a PC one out[/sp]
Modded RDR would just end up being automatic rifles and GTA IV cars within a matter of days
I would still pay large amounts of money for it though

Assuming that's necessarily a bad thing :v:
Assuming that's necessarily a bad thing :v:
Rally cars in the dirt of RDR would be so fucking badass you cannot even imagine
I think you're all missing the part where you find the DeLorean hidden in a cave and Doc Brown's time train pulls into Armadillo station.
would you recommend this game for a gta freak like me?
would you recommend this game for a gta freak like me?
Absolutely, this is probably the only other Rockstar game that, to me, that has the same level of freedom and exploration.
Obviously it isn't the same as GTA, but it really is more than just "Grand Theft Horse"
Especially if you include the DLC, which I believe is one of the most creative and well put together downloadable content for any game.
Red Dead Redemption is my favorite game of all time. It's a damn shame it never came to PC, will never come to PC, and will probably not have a sequel that comes to PC.
Damn you rockstar. I would rather have this game on PC than GTA V.
Also, undead nightmare was one of the best video game DLCs, next to Mothership Zeta for fallout 3. I'm sure people disagree with me but I loved it.
Wish I could play some of this game now but the disc stopped working properly for whatever reason. Anyway, I found a useful bug a while back, if you have a bounty, shoot a lawman in both feet and wait for him to get on his knees, then bribe him, he'll fall dead and you will lose your bounty and even get back the money you bribed him.
I wish this game was for pc, I would play the shit out of it.

Careful now, don't say anything you could regret...
wait a minute there, could it be.....? http://reddeadredemptionpc.blogspot.in/2012/08/red-dead-redemption-pc.html

how could anyone fall for this

If they were as dumb as me they would.
I always appreciated how John Marston was depicted as just smart enough to pretty much display the same level of knowledge about what's going on in the story as the player. It's hard to explain, but every time Marston was angry or annoyed, you would always relate to him because you pretty much felt the same way at that moment. Every time someone would try to give him some tasks, you could see his increasing annoyance at being required to do the dirty work of everybody.
Anyone wanna play on PSN?
Anyone wanna play on Xbox?
