Undead freeroam online would be cool, but more singleplayer would also be nice.
Maybe a new campaign about a bad guy. Like you rob banks and trains and shit.
Undead Nightmare should have been much longer.
It was long, if you didn't rush through it without doing all the side quests / finding the horses.
I was going to post about the triple XP event that went on a week or two ago, but this thread crashes my phone whenever i try to open it. R* said that there will be lots more of 3x AND 4x XP events in the future.
I just got undead nightmare and started playing but [sp]when I went to mexico on the train I died after going there, and now my mission is in mexico and I can't go there because there are roadblocks on all the bridges. Does anyone know how to get over there now or am I fucked?[/sp]
One time, I joined a free roam game with A ROAMING GANG OF MIC KIDDIES.
Me+Dynamite+Mickiddies huddled in a group = Tears, votekicks.
Jesus motherfucking christ! JUST RELEASE THE DLC ALREADY AND STOP WITH THE QUADRUPLE XPS
rockstar wants everyone to be high level so when they release the 32 player giant john marston shadow of colossus crossover dlc, they won't be so frustrated when he does his laser eye attack.
That would be the best thing ever made in history.
Also, thought I might as well just put this here as well.

John Marston: Telekinetic Wench Hurdler
It seems that the new DLC isn't anything big.
The upcoming free Red Dead DLC will open up some new multiplayer locations and add additional multiplayer characters for you to choose from.
I'm guessing that they are going to add Cochinay as a hideout and torquemada on gamemodes.

(torquemada at 1:10)
And they are going to release a patch at the same time.
An upcoming title update will fix the invincibility problem as well as other vulnerabilities, we plan on releasing it prior to the DLC coming out
The Free Red Dead Redemption Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack DLC Is Coming in September
As previously announced, we've got a special and completely free bonus pack of Red Dead Redemption DLC coming as a show of appreciation for the awesome long-term support for the game's multiplayer modes since its release in 2010.
Today we can confirm the title for you: the Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack will feature new fan-favorite multiplayer characters by popular demand (including a certain grizzled ol' gunslinger as pictured above) as well as new multiplayer locations for players of Deathmatch, Grab the Bag, Gang matches and other popular online modes to get busy in.
We expect the pack to be finished and available for download on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network in September.
Oh, also, yes – for those who are asking about a return to the original Undead Overrun multiplayer mode settings – we are planning to release a title update in the lead up to the new free DLC pack which will address that.
I'm not sure what the bolded + underlined means in that post but needless to say, i am excited there is some kind of date on the dlc.

Me too, though I wish that singleplayer wouldn't be so neglected. :smith:
September? What the fuck
Then bam, everyone is Ricketts.
From the start of the game I've been.. Guy Percival!
They had better fucking make another one of these. Not Red Dead Redemption 2, but Red Dead *something* in the same time period and style of RDR.
Undead Nightmare should have been much longer.
I dunno I thought its length was fine but the missions were so sub-par.
Like, A Cure for Most of What Ails You is just about finding 5 desert sages and 5 violet snowdrops. Biographies and Lies is just about returning to Ricketts with two sticks of dynamite and two bottles of undead bait. Filth and Other Entertainment is just about capturing a Retcher and bringing it back to that film producer. While some missions are just about clearing out x amount of graveyards.
The first mission, the one where you ride the train into Mexico and the last one were the only missions that felt like proper missions. The rest are dull Stranger-missions.

Eh, I'd prefer something set in the 1920s.
Eh, I'd prefer something set in the 1920s.
Uh, that wouldn't be a red dead then..
I'd prefer something set in the 1880-90s

You can have it set in the 1920s, just not in America. But during the Russian Civil War? Hell yes.

Red Dead Revenge.
[editline]28th July 2011[/editline]
You know what I wouldn't mind a Red Dead Revolver remake with all the new shit in Redemption.
If you get the Legends and Killers pack, you can't play as Red in singleplayer, can you?
So is there any detail on the other characters besides Ricketts yet?
The "Myths" part of the name makes me hope that you'll be able to play as a sasquatch, would be great.

More like "Red Dead Revolution".

I would play the shit out of that.
Seriously, at one point I was playing Red Dead Redemption anywhere from 4 to 9 hours a day on the PS3. From the first summer it was out, and then for a week after Undead Nightmare was released.
While we're tossing the idea around, when you think about it, a Red Dead game set during the Russian Civil War wouldn't be much different in terms of scenery and backdrop than how it was in Redemption, as far as the lush, dense forests and snowy hills and mountains are concerned. And then there's the plains settings; much of Russia is nothing but flat grassland in areas with dirt roads that stretch on for tens of miles before even coming to a house. Using photographs for examples:

Here's some old photographs of Russia and it's people and towns in color (when people were just beginning to pioneer color photography) around the timeframe of Redemption (a year earlier, to be exact):

I hope there's some token new mechanic in this new update. Not because general improvement is worse, but because something totally new, anything, will help me draw back in my RDR friends for some multiplayer.
Maybe it could be slightly steampunk? I don't mean to the point where there are sodding zeppelins and that stuff but maybe really light such as only affecting some of the cities, weapons, etc. but everyone would still look the same.
Actually I take that back. RDR is a classic that should be left untouched. Another Red Dead game would be cool but nothing so closely related to RDR. If a disappointing sequel came out it could tarnish the name of RDR.
Just played Gun today, that was a really fucking fun game, like a precursor to Redemption is what it felt like to me, even though they are hardly related. We need more western games, especially since we just lost Call of Juarez.
