I never finished this game.. But it was definitely interesting and entertaining at start and p. much all the way until violent stopped because you had to hang out with your family.
The zombie thing sounded cool too but nah.

Should've played few more missions..
Did they ever make it so you could have zombies in freeroam, or is it still just that undead overrun
I really like the GOTY cover :v:
I'm not sure if this is just me or what, but I feel like my ps3 version doesn't look anywhere near the graphical level that is seen in the videos posted in the OP. Does the Xbox 360 version look better than the ps3 version?

Doubtful.

It's a good game, but it removes so much from the atmosphere when half of the visuals are missing.
The beta version of the game looked really neat.
I especially liked the camera angle when you're aiming.

I thought you were being sarcastic at first but after researching the topic a little bit, turns out you're completely right. The 360 version runs at 720p native, while the ps3 version runs at 640p. Also the 360 version has 2x AA compared to the ps3 which uses an "all over quincunx effect". There's also less detail in the environment (grass, trees, etc), less detail in some of the geometry, and less detail in the shadows. Now I feel as if I must go purchase the 360 version.

That's sadly very typical of Rockstar.
GTA IV's PS3 version have lots of the same problems.
Anyone else going to replay Undead Nightmare for halloween?
It sounds sad as fuck but it really made last year fun.

If I decide to be a social hermit and not go to any parties, then yeah I will play undead nightmare. So spooky.
Also some kid who added me (<10 years old) just asked: "People are saying, if this is true, there's a church, with a cross, and when you uhh slice it with your knife, Jesus appears, and when you stab Jesus, a retcher, a gooey zombie appears at the window, is this true? Because I watched this thing and there was a gooey zombie. I heard that there's a church"
I kind of hated multiplayer in this game. Freeroam was just "hey you somehow got shot from someone riding horseback 200m away!" and the game modes that people still play aren't all the great.
Maybe I just had a bad experience.
Undead nightmare was really hard for me because I can't aim for shit with a controller

Same for me, but i've recently put it back in and started playing again with the mindset of "just take in all the scenery" for free roam, and I'm already have a lot more fun with the game.
I'm replaying this. I love it so much. I'll probably play Undead Nightmare for Halloween again, if I'm not out at a party or anything.
Started the game again, oh man, when I first arrive to Armadillo. I've yet to see something that beautiful on 360.
This game has a place in my heart.
Spoilers.

That touches my heart a lot more than breaking up with my GF
Why did this thread die?
This should be on the front page and at v. 20 by fucking now
I bought this the other day. So far I'm really liking it, but not enough people play the multiplayer.
Since I finally got Xbox live gold, who's up for a session?
My gamertag is Jonnaholic.
Anyone up to some posse-action tonight on PSN? My nick is crashman208 and I'm talking with my friend in finnish so you better mute us if you are coming :v:
[editline]30th October 2011[/editline]
Hardcore of course.

If only you said XBL instead of PSN :(
The only thing wrong with this game is regenerating health. And the lack of possible things in free roam.
I just hope that R* San Diego is working on the next Red Dead now because "The team at Rockstar San Diego are otherwise busy working on other projects …"
I just ordered Red Dead Redemption: undead nightmare. Is it fun?
And I'm thinking of getting Gold for a couple of months, the multiplayer isn't dead right?

Well On PS3 it's thriving. I could only imagine that the benifits of Gold on 360 would lend it even more prosperity, what with Mics and all.

On the last week of October RDR was the 18th most played game on XBL, according to Major Nelson, so it's still quite good!
Started playing this again yesterday, it's so much better than I remember! Any 360 players want to posse up? I REALLY want to try the Stronghold mode (from the free myths dlc) in a than just 1v1 match :v:
p.s. sorry for the bump but I don't want this golden game to die out in ye olde FP!
