I don't think I tried. All I care about is being able to get that agile supersoldier on OUR side. Also the whole "they want our genetics for boobs" thing would probably work if they weren't so heavy on cloning soldiers in tanks, since from a technical standpoint mammaries can make for quite the advantage in the childcare department, enabling a mother to naturally feed her child without puking half-digested food down their gobs. Again, however, they probably have artificial food nipples on the starship for when the younger clones work up a big grunty thirst, making tits and moms irrelevant to their civilization, as bonkers as that may sound.
That took longer than I expected, honestly.
I was sexualising snakes before it was cool.
I was sexualising snakes before it was cool.
You'll have to wait until the actual remake of Terror From the Deep for your true calling.
they also have arms..
whenever any form of lizard people come in whether it be in TES or XCOM or whatever, somebody throws a fit that the women have tits like they have some kind of proper anatomy fetish like you're shooting fireballs and lasers and shit calm down
Things I'm hoping for but am realistically understanding it probably won't happen: - Squadmates have actual character development/personalities. - Recruit Alien, Mercenary or other squadmates (since this is a more "underground" XCOM)

I wonder if EXALT will show up at all in XCOM 2? Raiding their old caches and recruiting former agents and informants could be cool.
- Squadmates have actual character development/personalities.
Don't see this happening apart from perhaps unique squaddies like the french chick and chinese guy. How are you going to have character development on a randomized character? [editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
I wonder if EXALT will show up at all in XCOM 2? I'd really like to team up with them, since they obviously didn't want the aliens to win either.

After everyone loving the Viper you know Firaxis is gonna make it recruitable in some way or another.

Honestly with the fact that we can have melee weapons being shown in the trailer, I will be making an entire squad of raiden look alikes
Honestly with the fact that we can have melee weapons being shown in the trailer, I will be making an entire squad of raiden look alikes
Melee only challenge mode

Also, They're hardened soldiers. They don't just 'have personalities'. That's what military training is for.
Maybe characteristics is a better word? Smug, surly, arrogant and cocky. Stuff like that.

Silent Storm series, Jagged Alliance etc etc. "He is flat like beaver who could not judge wind" Plus I imagine these guys more as guerillas and less as mindless supersoldiers. Banter is an important part of any job, even if your job is murder death kill
In my headcanon, thin men are male vipers.
You think we killed the thin man race for survival? We simply wanted their women.
You think we killed the thin man race for survival? We simply wanted their women.
Wait, so are we gonna be attacked by a Thin-man Duke Nukem?
We're likely still going to see Thin Men, just not in the way we currently know them. But they will still 10 shit crit your sergeants from 40 tiles away while he's in high cover and hunkered down
But they will still 10 shit crit your sergeants from 40 tiles away while he's in high cover and hunkered down
XCOM gonna be XCOM. Had 3 80% shots fail in a row last i played, because RNG hates people
I'm really excited for the character creation. Hopefully they'll have advanced options for those people who really like customization.
I'm really excited for the character creation. [editline]3rd June 2015[/editline] The Vikings are our only hope.
So everyone's getting hype about the vipers long and prehensile tongue, so I thought i'd remind you all. In the PC gamer article they say that tongue is more than just for show, it works like a frogs tongue that will drag your squaddies out of cover. You thought thin men were bad before? Now they can legitimately get rid of all your cover... and then do a backflip headshot 10 damage crit on the only medic.

I kinda wanna see someone make a medieval/fantasy/dungeon crawling mod out of this next Xcom. Complete with needlessly sexy snake women.

Just 20 years? That's a golden deal for sure.
