I believe boxstrat was when beagle set up his squad in a box like formation during the Greenland mission, inside of the ship, to kill as many aliums as possible. I think.

Beagle killed 4 units in 1 turn with 1 unit and claims to have killed 7 in 1 turn with 1 unit as well
Also .ini's are fully commented to make it super easy to mod files before even getting to mod tools.
Sadly I know too much, I wish I could still "embargo" the information. I feel like I've pretty much seen everything the game has to offer now.

I'm not sure, but he used to use that "boxstrat" thing when he "glitched" zombie pathfinding (melee unit in general).
He climbed up on ladder and blocked that square with his soldier, so no other unit could go through the same way, resulting in said zombie to go other way while he could lay fire on it without any problems.
Boxstrat is only really found in the Newfoundland mission. It involves blocking all the edges with soldiers so Lids and Zerkers can't kill you.
to be extra clear boxstrat is blocking the AI pathing to a higher elevation against melee opponents by either placing your soldiers on every edge tile or blocking the ladder/drainpipe tile
can be done mainly on newfoundland and on the silos of the downed ufo farm map
boxstrats is when you play with a team of 6 alloy shivs

I can't wait for the mod tools. Beagle was talking in his stream last night about how its a massive amount of just assets and tools to mod almost every aspect of the game. Metal Gear Tactics anyone?

A squad based MSF /Diamond Dogs tactics game might work pretty well as an Xcom mod actually.

bit disappointed there are less VA languages even if there are more english speaking ones

Oh btw. When you make characters in the Character Pool you can have stuff they would normally only get at higher ranks. So for the Facepunch Resistance you could include your full name and make your Nickname your username if you're weird like that.

Today I was doing the base defense mission and I saved during it, as I try to load the save later it goes into the loading screen but it gets stuck at that and never actually loads.
Is this a common thing? Is there a way to fix it?
Beagle is fucking with the INI files for XCOM again. He's on a mission right now with 12 XCOM troops.
Imperial Guard mod confirmed easy to make, we just gotta figure out what generates map size now
Or make a gamemode where you control a set number of suicide bombers and you have to corral the enemies while keeping your troops alive long enough to blow up as many as you can
