One thing that really annoys me in XCOM:EU/EW is when the camera decides to move the instant you click to move a soldier. You want to put that soldier in that little corner, but nope, camera moved one pixel and now your soldier will rush wasting that opportunity to attack. Is worse when trying to aim with explosives, even standing still the mouse keeps moving around making hard to do a precise shoot.
Edit: I just realized I have more of 100 hours on this game and still can't get good on Classic.
Oh man, I hope someone straight up ports EU/EW to XCOM2 with how moddable it is.
If they're getting full source code access, I want to see somebody do crazy shit with it like make it an ADVENT city-builder or something.

Then again, the trailer seems to point out that the Viper was actually pretty agile, more so than the X-COM solider she went after, AND it gives you the added benefit of being able to move easily while low on the ground, which would mean the added benefit of having access to lower cover, so perhaps being part snake would have some merit after all.

If there is the option of actually having soldiers which are like, hybrids of their human aspect with an alien species, I will just kick them out. I am not having some half-xenos in my XCOM squad, no way, no how, filthy half-xenos, failing to fully comprehend their human potential.

Actually having an option to recruit/produce some hybrids would be pretty neat. For me to refuse in shock and disgust, if nothing else.
I will say that this is me talking outta my ass, but with Xcom 2 having more modding capability my dream mod could happen. Basically making Xcom into a turned base killing floor, send your six troops in with the different classes/perks to clear the streets of zeds. Infiltrate horzine facilities where you have a mix of zeds and some horzine mercs, and since most zeds are melee focused you could crank up the numbers to make rockets and 'nades more deadly. Plus seems Xcom 2 even has some melee options for the troops. Then again this is just a dream. :words:

As cool as the new setting is, I'm gonna miss the feel of the the last one.
Something about being on the defensive against and overwhelming invading force appeals to me more than being on the offensive.
I'm all for recruiting alien defectors into XCOM but all this talk of hybrids and using alien DNA is pure EXALT talk. I didn't kick their asses up and down the Nigerian Interior just for you lot to turn into god damn Xeno fuckers.
