that's just a synth, it's not really a genre [editline]28th June 2015[/editline] i guess try searching for synthwave
i hope they do a base invasion again and don't send literally every rookie in instead of your well-equiped colonels
So on my first time playing this i didn't have much of a clue on what i was doing so my run was pretty short. Now on my second run, deciding i have enough knowledge to plan ahead, i've prepared a bunch of sattelite uplinks in a star pattern in order to put that one facility that gives adjacent bonus in the middle of all the uplinks. Then i made the horrible mistake of mixing up hyperwave relay with sattelite nexus and placing the former instead of the latter in the middle of all the sattelite uplinks. Fuck. I can't even demolish the bloody thing god damn it.
why not just place 4 satellite nexuses next to eachother 4 nexuses should be enough to cover the whole world
I suppose i'm doing that on my next run :v: On this run i didn't even research the nexus yet, which i guess contributed to me thinking the relay was the thing i was looking for. I'm still new to the game i'm still figuring out what facility positionings would be best.
why not just place 4 satellite nexuses next to eachother 4 nexuses should be enough to cover the whole world
2 nexuses and 2 uplinks is enough to give you global coverage, as long as they're in a square. But if you're like me and inevitably lose two continents then 4 Uplinks is enough.

Honestly it seems like any article that isn't from IGN has 0 new content and just repeats what we've already heard.

Procedural Snake Tits. Every Viper is created based on DeviantArt-inspired Original Character algorithms.

Also from the article
I love fan art, and I cannot wait see what people do with our characters, like The Viper in this demo. Seeing that fan art, man, nothing gets me more jazzed.
That's interesting.
i bet he regrets saying that [editline]28th June 2015[/editline] or he loves R34
What's the name of the music genre that has those modern as fuck bassy bloopy noises? It's mostly Michael McCann that does it for games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and now X-COM, but I swear I heard it somewhere else before. You can hear it the most in the HQ theme;
Anything used in an official form of media and not intended to be released alone is listed as Soundtrack.
Procedural Snake Tits. Every Viper is created based on DeviantArt-inspired Original Character algorithms.
I would actually like this.
I would actually like this.
not sure if sarcastic or not aware of what OCs look like
not sure if sarcastic or not aware of what OCs look like
I think that the neon colors would provide a bonus to Aim.
I think that the neon colors would provide a bonus to Aim.
At the cost of the sight of an OC snakewoman permanently blinding you.
seeing one causes your entire squad to panic as long as it's in sight
seeing one causes your entire squad to panic as long as it's in sight
Or drop all other tasks and focus on exterminating the OC Viper, no matter the costs.
Or drop all other tasks and focus on exterminating the OC Viper, no matter the costs.
"Screw this sectopod, we have to destroy that... THING"
Can we have a gag option of Vipers randomly charming one of your squad members?
I'm gonna have to bring out the flamethrowers again, aren't I.
Can we have a gag option of Vipers randomly charming one of your squad members?
NO [editline]29th June 2015[/editline]
I'm gonna have to bring out the flamethrowers again, aren't I.
YES
I'm gonna have to bring out the flamethrowers again, aren't I.
Flamethrowers wont cut it anymore. We're gonna need some napalm to fix this mess.
dunno if anyone's said anything yet but this dude blatantly looks like an evolved thin man check the neck edit: I knew I couldn't possibly have been the only one to notice this but I don't remember anyone posting about it :(
I don't really get In The Zone. Like, how often is a late-game sniper going to be more useful picking off low-health, uncovered targets, when they could be dealing ~30 damage in a turn to any unit regardless of whether they're cover or if they can one-shot them?
I've been able to take out more then 6 enemies in a single turn with my in the zone sniper and could still reload in the same turn multiple times. Most of the time double tap is better though.
Procedural Snake Tits. Every Viper is created based on DeviantArt-inspired Original Character algorithms.
From 100% flat to screen obscuring.

Those glasses are 20 years out of style.
