I find putting tits on something alien to show that its female is incredibly lazy. There's so many ways to denote gender in the animal kingdom, fuck even in the plant kingdom, gimme some plant aliens. Why do we have to base every single alien off of ourselves? even the chryssalids have arms and abs and shit, I wanna see some really freaky and out there designs for some aliens firaxis, bring back reapers, and celatids and sillicoids but make them look cool.
I made the decision to permanently bench Squaddie Eugene "Goddammit" Andre after multiple incidents across every mission he was deployed on, including but not limited to:
- missing damn near every shot he took, regardless of chance to hit percentage or his own 73 aim
- only bagging 2 aliens across 6 missions as a result, compared to the 4 kills the squaddie I hauled along on his first mission got
- Missing a point-blank stun on a Thin Man, requiring my sniper to bail him out [I]with a pistol from across the map[/I]
- Generally being a useless doofus and allowing a mechtoid to kill the squaddie with 4 kills on his second mission

Really, we just need to get out of this dryspot, we're in between games with news trickling out but not enough for some people to have a full on discussion for more than a couple of hours. I can put up with / ignore posts talking about the Viper (though it is annoying). What pisses me off is the fact i have to hover over the scroll button encase some prepubescent kid or teenager posts an image on the verge of being porn or even past it. Honestly, what do you expect people to talk about? There's pretty much nothing doing, which is why the thread is so slow. I like reading about XCOM and even if SFM porn preparations in zbrush are a pretty non-XCOM thing it's still related and I still think it works in this thread, at the very least until the game comes out and people have something to focus on.
