No need, you can just inject it as of now unless you also have SSEx, which if you do they have a patch to make that work with Homemaker.
Its not an issue of getting it to work. Its a principle I picked up back from modding STALKER: I try to play single player games unmodded one time through, then the second playthrough I'll install mods.
I love how easy to kill deathclaws are with an advanced combat shotgun.
No, the god damn wounding combat shotgun. Whatever damage + bleed damage for 25 seconds.
This thing is super fucking ridiculous. I had a single pellet hit a deathclaw and it bled to death in a couple of seconds.
Speaking of weapon mods, I have a bunch in my inventory. Are those the ones I have on my gun, and if so will removing them remove the mods from my weapons?
those are mods you've removed, just dump them in the workbench

Survival is dumb on the Damage front, making you do less damage is not a good way of making a game harder, it's just a way of making the game fucking annoying.
I also kind of want a mod that makes the combat shotgun from Fallout 4 make the sound of the combat shotgun from Fallout 3. Albeit I think they would have remaster the audio a little bit.

That mod with 100% more player damage makes the game seem like Stalker on Master difficulty, where you and the enemies both die fast.
I don't understand the trend of more health and sponginess = difficulty. It can be compared to hitting a plank of wood vs hitting a concrete brick. Both will crack eventually, but one just takes more time.
A while ago my game glitched and there was no fog underwater, so I explored the bottom of the sea in my power armor

I played on Survival from the very beginning, it was too easy.
Aquaboy/girl should give you clear underwater vision IMO. I'd like to explore lakes and the sea but it's not worth taking if I can't see shit underwater.
So remember that mod I posted a while back that makes everything plant covered? I fixed most of it, but the grass density is out of this world

My FPS is dying.
edit: It looks a lot sharper and better with reshade, I promise.

Bethesda should seriously get a spell checker, the typo's are everywhere in prewar documents :v:

it's for immersion, the people who wrote made the mistakes, not bethesda!!
you might be joking but i work creating and processing various legal documents motions and correspondence and the level of typo that's present even at the professional level is pretty absurd
you've got letters from doctors and shit with words just flat out missing or with awful grammar

Why can't we have more games where enemies scale by adding more instead of just making them unreasonably powerful?
People like to shit on CoD, but at least they do that (in some cases at least. They definitely scale multiplayer: Veteran 4-player coop produces some points where there's suddenly a fuckload of robots and shit whereas it would be less in singleplayer)

Same, but enemies become spongy..
Obviously rad roaches and molerats are all 1-shot material.
Even with modded 1.5X player damage, some enemies take a few headshots from a .50 cal, then again I have little related rifle perks if any.
With 2.0X vs 2.0X, it felt kinda too easy. Maybe should go with 2.0X (player dmg) vs 2.5-3.0X (enemy damage)

Mine is actually broken so everything is crystal clear underwater, it's like I'm swimming in air :v:

1.5X vs 2.5X would make for a pretty interesting game. On 2X, enemies die way too easily and with 2X for enemies, player damage isn't quite STALKER Master difficulty yet.
anyone ever encounter the glitch where in third person combat your character reloads his rifle/shotgun 2 times in a row every time you reload? holy fuck its the most annoying thing i've encountered
anyone ever encounter the glitch where in third person combat your character reloads his rifle/shotgun 2 times in a row every time you reload? holy fuck its the most annoying thing i've encountered
Every time I have to reload I just use vats to fire one shot because the reload animation will be played same speed even though everything is slowed down.
Brandis is one of my favorite characters in the entire game. Probably my only favorite, even if he is an extremely minor character with a very brief appearance. You can line up to fight me any time now.

That is definitely something that needs to be added in. Survival difficulty needs a major rehaul, and I hope someone gets Bethesda's ass on it ASAP. Or fuck it, get J Sawyer on it! He made hardcore mode in NV enjoyable! The only time an enemy or the PC could take multiple hits to the head without dying is if they're wearing adequate head armor. Because really, the raider head armor is like a bird cage, and I can't see a bird cage being able to shake off bullets ever. Even if it is a video game. The only positive thing I can think of coming out of survival difficulty is the abundance of legendary enemies dropping unique items. Otherwise, survival is fucking dull.
Survival difficulty should basically be STALKER/Misery mod/master difficulty. But with less grenade tossing I think, because damn, I hate getting multiple throwables tossed at me all the damn time.
I think the default system is built around building your character to high level as fuck when you finally have certain gun-related perks and some modified good weapons, and thus better, "realistic" damage if ever.
Which is to say, fuck it I'll just mod my damage up. The 1.5X vs 2.0X is alright, but I might try adjusting to 1.6X or so. And boosting enemy damage.
Also about to FKIN FINALLY try the vertical mouse sensitivity fix. It should feel amazing. (You know how vertical mouse sensitivity is lower than horizontal.)

you got a link to that mod? it would give me a good reason to start a new character.

I seriously never thought of building settlements like this with the space you get. That's tenpines bluff, right? How many settlers do you have there?
In a battle for The Science, who would win? The institute, or big mt?
The Institute. They are all alive so their possibilities for research are much greater. Not to mention a constant supply of living test subjects.
It turns out you can juggle fast travel locations in a vertibird.
This is as close as I'm going to get to using the vertibird as a means of attack rather than transport until the GECK comes out.
Just juggling two fast travel locations, causing the vertibird to turn back and forth as I try to kill everything.
Is there any point to the Junk Yard Dog you can buy?
When you finally kill that pain in the ass legendary and it drops a fucking pool cue that does extra damage to super mutants
Is there any point to the Junk Yard Dog you can buy?
Adds some defence
