Though those types of spears are possible in Skyrim so I'm mostly being pedantic. They had a whole other game between Fallout 3 and 4.
Also you can go over 10 S.P.E.C.I.A.L using the various bobbleheads and 12 if you use the Your Special book with a stratigic use of drugs to weaken your special stats, because the your special book doesn't take temporary stat drops into account and so when you get your stats back you'll have have 11, and then 12 with the Bobblehead, so save picking up the SPECIAL Bobbleheads until you get 10 in that particular statistic. You can abuse this with addictions if you want higher than 12 in every stat, which temporarily lower your special and Dogmeats ability to dupe the Your Special book for really high Special stats, over what you could get normally.

Or used that content in DLC. :cry:

One thing that baffled me is after 200 years, how has no one built a factory? For anything? There are computers full of fucking blueprints everywhere, shit tons of old factories and of course the brotherhood, who HAS all the blueprints and factories under control. Surely there is enough parts laying around to get SOMETHING into production?

If I really wanted a weapon it would be the Plasma Caster, who at Bethesda thought it would be a good idea to fucking not include the Plasma Caster despite it being brought back in New Vegas, it's an iconic weapon god damn it!

Plasma caster? Yeah okay, fine, but what about the tesla cannon? That was my favorite energy weapon from 3/NV, and I'm sad you can't modify the gatling laser to mimic its functionality at least.

All heretical. I mean really, it would have been cool to see the higher ups in X-01 or something, and would have been a better way of introducing the armour, instead of it popping up randomly in places it shouldn't be, and then the Elder would have got a suit of X-02, but that's an idea for the old East Coast. [editline]edit[/editline] I mean technically speaking the Tesla weapon itself IS a pre-war weapon, it's just they probably refuse to make more to please the West Coast or something, like you'd think in ten years they would have had a few more or developed new technology based on it, but again west coast ideals getting in the way...
It's a shame Ronnie Shaw isn't a companion, I really like her voice/personality.
