So, apparently Codsworth gets his hat visually stuck on him, if you "R) Take All" Items from him. I tried to re-apply and remove the hat from him, but now my Codsworth visually has a Bowler Hat always, even if he actually does not. [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] On other news, I crafted myself a batch of... NUKE GRENADES! Wooo, never again will I use any other type of grenades than these.
Is paladin danse supposed to be walking around naked during blind betrayal? :| I guess I might have swiped his bos uniform and he never bothered to put anything else on
If you take away his BoS uniform he won't put another one on.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/FTSlXrs.jpg[/t] I did a good :downs:
Like this.. thing. I contemplated to myself as to what I should do, so I asked advice from Codsworth; "I'm sure you're the one who will make Commonwealth a better place!" So I threw a nuke grenade at the Deathclaw, then finished it off with a sword. [sp]Codsworth doesn't care either way.[/sp]
To everyone complaining that this game isn't a great rpg. In my opinion, it's that F04 doesn't suit your playing style or you're just not being creative enough. For example when I run into doors that aren't accessible I just ~unlock them and shoot a rocket at the door. Expending ammo and metagaming a little bit, which is required when you're roleplaying sometimes. At first I kept dying because my play style kept getting me killed as I liked to run and gun. As I leveled my character I started seeing success with a wide arsenal of weapons and using explosives and sneak attacks to win every battle. The extensive load times have influenced me to be a lot more cautious about dying or being reset. I even started checking my corners so I don't explode. In a way this game has cultivated a new mind set on how to go about the gameplay as I have progressed. Either I, or the game, have adapted. Let's just saying it's a beautiful symbiosis that has made this probably one of my most favorite games ever. I have yet to find the need to modify the game using nexus downloads, although I have been writing new ideas and features to add to the game if I ever have a chance to take a whack at G.E.C.K. in the future. To me this game has given me an unrivaled experience to virtual reality. Sitting in my room with a surround sound sub woofer and earphones to listen to the highs and feel the booming bass. I really have to give it to Bethesda they hit the nail on the head. I won't say at first the game felt that it lacked depth, and it was a rough start, but in hindsight. The game was designed to create that feeling of wariness, but for some reason I could not put it down. I have grown as my character has and taken the wasteland into my own hands. Even the NPC's have given me a new confidence and their amazing social influence they have had on me adds so much to this game. To really have fun you have to be able to ignore the minor glitches and preconceived notions of what a game or rpg is supposed to be. Use your child like imagination and encompass yourself, isolate yourself if you must. This is an amazing game that I will never forget!
This game is the greatest RPG of all time, because I can just open the launcher and imagine playing a much better one.
Give example of what an RPG is supposed to be, because maybe I don't have anything to base this on because I haven't played a "game" at all in the past 2 years.
Well, an RPG is supposed to be able to offer more than just a one single extensive playthrough. (Whether any FO game, or any RPG game has ever truly accomplished that; I don't know.) Now, FO4 can't really offer more than 1-2 extensive playthroughs. Same as with Skyrim really. They require some modding also to squeeze more hours out of them. I have to say though, I'm looking forwards to FO4 DLC more than I have ever looked forwards to any DLCs: if they plan on expanding on the questing-game and like the "RPG" side of it (which is arguably a bit lacking in FO4), perhaps even a new character or a voice, it'd be absolutely fucking great!

It's from New Vegas boss, what the fuck? Have u not played it? You must have meant something else by "Where is this from" [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] Many different variants of that "NCR Ranger Armor" existed in the game as well.

yeah sorry but seeing as its wip, who knows where the author sneak-peek'd the set? looking forward to it tho
yeah i just wanted to know who was making it, what the context was, how did they come to know of it, what am i missing
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWIsoigU8AAgdpg.jpg:large[/t][t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWFqm4lUYAAH34M.jpg:large[/t] The wait for this is killing me :speedfap:
riot armor from lonesome road was the best version of it imo
Also, I just noticed how funny Elder Maxson's stats can look on his wiki page if you didn't know that he [sp] appeared as a child in Fallout 3.[/sp]
I preferred the desert combat version of the riot armor personally, the green armor / sandy brown coat - shame the eyes didn't light up though otherwise it would have been perfect.
I don't like his lens texture - makes the eyes look like the wrong size. The entire lens needs to be backlit. Really good looking model otherwise.
Who here made Isaac Clarke? I can't make him worth shit, I'm terrible at recreating characters.
If you take away his BoS uniform he won't put another one on.
He CAN'T put another one on apparently. Unless you force equip something to him via console, he will never equip another piece of clothing. Has to do with the power armor's handling of ordinary clothes. You can't equip clothing while in PA, but if you have some force-equipped and take it off, you can't put it back in until you get out.
Running around the Wasteland with Hancock while wearing my Minuteman General outfit with the Tricorne hats is just hilarious. Now I just finished the Silver Shroud quest and running some detective quests with Nick Valentine sporting fedoras and trenchcoats pulled off of dead triggermen. [editline]13th December 2015[/editline] That or you can make your female companion wear a pressed dress and equip them with a bobby pin while you have a sweater vest outfit and go around killing things with a pool cue together
Has it been long enough since release for a Fallout 4 speedrun WR to have been set and documented? What would the ideal route be anyway?
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWIsoigU8AAgdpg.jpg:large[/t][t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWFqm4lUYAAH34M.jpg:large[/t] The wait for this is killing me :speedfap:
Jesus Christ, I thought the first picture was a cosplay costume at first. Damn, that's great work.
Okay what the hell, my explosive 10mm pistol produces a GREEN explosion glare/glow on like the every 5th or 7th shot. Otherwise the explosion is normal, da fuck? [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] Aaand it doesn't happen on a bit previous save, fuck these sort of bugs.
If there's any DLC revolving around Nick, it'd probably involve [sp]Kellog's personality surfacing in him assuming that wasn't some throwaway plotline.[/sp]
DooM crossover: [sp]We go to hell so we can kill him again.[/sp]
Welp, G the fuck G. I have max Rifleman, max Sneak, max Sandman, max Ninja, and a suppressed gauss rifle. The only thing I ever have to worry about again is ammo.
So I did a test to make sure I could even have the sounds load in. It all works and I can hear the gunfire I created but there is one problem... The gunfire noise keeps playing after I fire the gun... Does anyone know how I get that to stop?
Welp, G the fuck G. I have max Rifleman, max Sneak, max Sandman, max Ninja, and a suppressed gauss rifle. The only thing I ever have to worry about again is ammo.
Needs to be a Instigating Gauss Rifle
Needs to be a Instigating Gauss Rifle
I'm already one-shotting behemoths with a standard gauss. Not even a headshot, square in the chest.
for vats shots with the gauss, does the damage VATS shows me doing the fully charged damage or the lowest?
for vats shots with the gauss, does the damage VATS shows me doing the fully charged damage or the lowest?
If you use VATS it will always fire 100% charged shots. AP usage is far lower than it should be if charging each shot fully before firing, so this may be bugged one way or another.
If your having issues with Protectron followers (via robotics expert perk) being way too damn slow, you can actually (and reliably) force them into "sprint mode" (like what you see at the Robot race track) by gaining verticality on them. For example, standing on a car, or something at-least 2/3 of the players size will trigger said "sprint mode" It makes them actually useful!
