I was thinking it would be a good idea for Bethesda to make it so exiting out of terminal hacking does not reset you attempts, but even if that was fixed I bet most people will just make a quicksave for every time they spot a terminal to hack anyway.
Fuck no. TBH the hacking 'minigame' is stupid anyway. I wish it was like Fallout 1/2 where you use the skills menu and then use "science" on a computer.
It annoys me to no end how you can't make T intersections with walls in build mode.
All I want to do is make a building with an adjacent garage but in order to do that I have to buffer between the two, rather than being connected directly.
I haven't met Curie yet but [sp]I think making her into an Assaultron would've been cooler than a synth.[/sp]
That wouldn't have made sense. [sp]She is the most non-violent companion and the reason she goes into a synth body to begin with is so she can pursue her scientific endeavours. I'm not sure how big meaty robot claws and a face laser would have helped with said endeavours.[/sp]

Required both a max level Speech and Science check, clearly
That was an unsatisfactory job, at best.

The 6th Crank on the 6 Crank Laser Musket, it sounds like fucking Thunder.
I miss the burning noise that laser weapons make in from 3 and nv
I wish there was a mod for laser weapons that would "silence" them. Like, say...
Microwave Emitter
~ Converts weapon into mid-range focused microwave ray
+ Beam is almost invisible and firing makes significantly less sound
+ Damage and scoped accuracy way up
- Damage type changed to radiation, making it much less effective against some enemy types
- Range down, hip-fire accuracy way down
+++ Enemy's head will always explode on death

Had the same exact idea. Though radiation can pretty much only damage humans, and Microwaves would probably fit better with standard energy.

Go into structures > wood > walls. There should be a wall you can use for this. It's got kind of an L shape to it.
Hold on, I'll fetch a screen shot in a minute or two.

If my calculations are correct, this turret is over a hundred thousand times further away than the radius of the observable universe.
The 6th Crank on the 6 Crank Laser Musket, it sounds like fucking Thunder.
I just want to mention guys, that the Laser musket fully upgraded(6 crank) is equivalent to the Gauss Rifle fully upgraded.
So if you need ballistic damage, go with Gauss, but if you want energy, go with Musket.
And they both have their negatives and positives. You don't need to wind up the gauss, but you do need to charge it.
And the ammo is surprisingly rare even with scrounger level 4. And to take into consideration the laser musket's use of 6 cells per shot, they both can eat up an expensive amount of ammo in a short time.

Here it is. Just next to the door frame.

Sorry if this isn't exactly what you're looking for.
On the topic of building, those narrow 'Wall End' wood pieces actually snap into place on some of the wood walls, like the one that acts as kind of a window.

why in god's fucking name do you have to press enter to advance in terminals rather than just clicking like in the last games
Had the same exact idea. Though radiation can pretty much only damage humans, and Microwaves would probably fit better with standard energy.
Really disappointed at radiation's uselessness as a damage type. It's effective on the player because you are a persistent entity in the world that gets into fights with a lot of people and uses healing items. It's not effective on NPCs because A) you're whittling down their health anyway and they rarely use healing items, and B) they are nameless mooks you can easily kill and you in fact do just that, countless times. An overhaul mod for that will be nice that actually makes radiation a tactical consideration against some enemies. Then we'll have an actual use for the gamma guns and stuff.
Also, the synth discussion from a few pages earlier reminds me of how painfully Bethesda dropped the ball pretty much everywhere in the writing department, with the exception of a handful of quests and some of the companions.

I think it's more the expression, and the angle I tilted his head at. He looks fine on the character appearance adjustment page before you leave the vault.
If you change your name with showSPECIALmenu, will codsworth use your new name?
If you change your name with showSPECIALmenu, will codsworth use your new name?
I tried this with the name Katherine, after I had named my character Cathy but he still referred to me as "Mum"
By all means try it yourself though. It might work for you.

I miss how shlubby Isaac was in DS1. He was heavyset, balding, and overall was just a great person in the wrong place at the wrong time kind of character. He only really survived through the sheer luck of being an engineer and having the know how when it came to keeping the ship from falling apart and being able to use all the industrial tools that were more effective at fighting the Necromorphs than conventional weapons were. Then in 2 and 3 he just became generic action man. Its funny that by giving him more of a character, they made his character less interesting.
anyway, Fallout.

it's a shame that 14 year olds have made quoting things corny, but i learnt this in highschool and i always liked it:
"Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence"
ofc it stuck with me at the time because i was an awkward shit that didn't talk so i read it in my own way, but now i like it even more. Aside from the actual understanding of people this helps give, it's very relevant in film
Well Danse just made an incredibly awkward confession of admiration at possibly the weirdest time imaginable (in a hyper-radioactive cave in the middle of the glowing sea). Certainly wasn't expecting that.
I have to ask though... My character's male. He had a happily wedded wife and a son. Why the heck is there a flirt option with male companions? I'm not asking because I object to that sort of thing, I'm asking because it carries a fairly obvious implication of dishonesty towards a former loved one. That just feels wrong.
