Well Danse just made an incredibly awkward confession of admiration at possibly the weirdest time imaginable (in a hyper-radioactive cave in the middle of the glowing sea). Certainly wasn't expecting that.
I have to ask though... My character's male. He had a happily wedded wife and a son. Why the heck is there a flirt option with male companions? I'm not asking because I object to that sort of thing, I'm asking because it carries a fairly obvious implication of dishonesty towards a former loved one. That just feels wrong.
Cause Bethesda wanted homo and hetero sexual orientations in most followers but they forgot that they had a damn "HAPPILY MARRIED FAMILY" plot to begin with.
I think I am going to seperate my followers into two cities. One where all the goody two shoes are and the other where all the awesome drug addicts are.

Everyone is bi~
Does Bethesda normally take this long to release a patch for their games? You'd think by now they'd release an actual one and not just a beta.

They're using betas to weed out bugs introduced by the changes they've made, to ensure the finalized patch they push out to consoles as well as PC is as stable as possible. Consoles don't get subtle patching or nightlies so the big fixes have to really count.
Y'know, I find the "Everyone is bi~" thing incredibly offensive. It's like saying "Straight people don't exist" and it's also a shitty way of writing a character. Instead of everyone being bi, I should try to romance Cait and have her be like "nah no dik m8" or Nick, on my female character, should go "Nicky likey dickey." I want that, because that's sticking to a proper character concept. Not saying that characters can't be bi, too, but don't fucking shoehorn that into every fucking character.
It's offensive from a writer's standpoint.
Any idea why I can't see happiness/pop of Covenant nor put supply line there? I cleansed the place btw.

But I want to fuck everyone, dammit.

This. The easiest way - and the best starting point - to give a character, well, CHARACTER, is to give them preference. The likes/dislikes system is okay at this, but it just completely crumbles away once you look at the romance system.
A better way to handle it would've been easier or significantly harder speech checks depending on gender and their own preference. For some you'd have to practically beg them to give you a chance, even with high charisma, before they'd even consider it. This would be far more realistic, without putting some completely off limits.
Its something that I liked about Garrus as a character. As much as I would have liked to romance him on my male Shepard, they made the conscious decision to keep him straight.
I couldn't get an alien boning but he was still my best friend

Lazy*
It's offensively lazy.
I hope one of the first mods we get is a codsworth sentrybot, it would be completely over the top and completely amazing
he would definitely keep the bowler hat too
Is there a way to get the airship captain hat without killing Kells for his? Even if I end up going against the brotherhood in this playthrough, I just can't bring myself to kill Tuvok.

I have mixed feelings, because at the same time it bothers me when you try to play a game like Mass Effect as the objectively better in every way Femshep and because of that can't romance Tali.
I think I finally realized why I hate Carla so goddamned much.
Aside from the glassy, red eyed glare she constantly gives.
The borderline Fran Drescher combined with an old truck-stop cashier voice
the constant lack of anything worthwhile to sell
What truly, truly gets on my last goddamned nerve is:
Her posture is like fucking Gru from Despicable Me.

GOOD. That's what I want. Characters with preference.
Wow that [sp] suicide letter from Liam Binet [/sp] made me feel like fucking shit, I didn't expect something like that from a Bethesda game

If you invest in maxed out pickpocketing you can just steal it off of him, along with his neat outfit.
As an added bonus, I'm pretty sure that after I did that I left for a while and when I came back he had another whole set, so you don't have to worry about semi-important characters walking around in their tighty whities

I'm already in my mid-50's, I'm not sure I want to sink four perk points just to get a single hat, cool though it is. Maybe I'll use the console to give myself one and throw out some fusion cores or something so I don't feel so bad about cheating.

Can this be done with Maxon's outfit as well?
Is the only realistic way to assign a companion to their own room or personal area of a settlement to get the planterbox mod and assign them to work at that? Or a scavenging station?
Endgame spoilers: It's really hard to get [sp]Shaun[/sp] to do anything else other than fuck around in the furthermost corner of the map all day. Made him a room but what's the point?
Guys, I found...

I've seen variations of this video where you can make the Mr. Gutsy explode, is the chance of that happening purely random or is it based around certain perks? One would assume Robotics Expert.

wow that person is a terrible shot and also constantly trying to load a quicksave.
As for your question, no idea but robots will explode if you break their limbs so they have no way of attacking you. Arms off a protectron or handy will do it.
Also if you hit the combat inhibitor they'll either go berserk or self-destruct, depending on luck and their current health.

No no no, sorry I phrased that badly guys, I mean it'll explode if you repeat the "WILL YOU COMPLY?" line back to it long enough, it goes into a loop and explodes but it didn't happen in this video. I'm just confused :/

Don't agree. Making everyone bi, while it can seem disingenouous if mishandled, isn't completely illogical and does make sense in a setting like Fallout, because considering the circumstances, it's understandable that people would be flexible (to a greater degree than they are in real life).
Not only that, for all the complaints about mishandled romances in FO4, would anyone really want to see Bethesda handle an explicitly gay character?

Care to explain your first point?
And yeah, I would. I'd like to see them just handle a character where their preferences were explicit and set in stone. Like I said, I want to flirt with a character and get turned down because I'm not the right gender. Why? Because this game isn't my fantasy world, and it feels like it's selling out by trying to cater to everyone's fantasies instead of having it's own set-in-stone stuff.

I have absolutely no idea then. First I've heard of that.

I 100% agree. I would like to be turned down because I don't fit their attraction instead of the other way around. Bioware did a similar thing where everyone in space wants to fuck Shepard and Hawke is the hottest shit ever.
