You forgot Valentine
No he didn't. It's Nick. He's pretty much always referred to as Nick in the game.
Gen 1 and 2 are robots, gen 3 are indistinguishable from humans and count as such.
That's fucking weird because you can pacify the Gen 1 and 2 synths with Intimidation.
That kinda explains why I only get quests for two places.
yeah it kinda pisses me off, because I don't want those quests, but I figured out that to never really get them you have to make the settlement either devoid of population or fix their problems, and with the case of those listed locations, the bugs basically stopped me from doing the latter without console commands.

I found an anomaly, at first I thought my keyboard was acting up but then I smacked the air and it sparked. I wonder what it could be.
We will not let some guy dying ruin our wedding Linked for spoilers about Mayor McDonough http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/401182272584256431/0CFFCE30056F947CA4C9A6DD89529E4540F03305/
It is. One of my friends was avoiding the main quest and happened to stumble into it while exploring. Now I'm confused. Same friend never went to Diamond City until late game and so he never [sp]saved Nick[/sp]. However, he did just say that the game skipped those quests. I never asked if he actually met [sp]Frosted Flakes[/sp].
your friend is a dirty liar [t]http://i.imgur.com/N4o0TRg.jpg[/t] thats the elevator that goes into the story part of the building, its closed until doggo takes you there
I just saw a raider mourning over a grave in a small cemetery. It was so weird seeing a raider showing that kind of humanity and emotion.
I just saw a raider mourning over a grave in a small cemetery. I mean, there was a bit of that in NV, but in F4 the little conversations they have give away so much. I stumbled upon a cave one time and killed a named raider and then found a backstory about how she was looking for her sister and stuff. I actually felt bad for barging in and killing her, made me feel like the bad guy. And another time I found a journal that explains how they actually heard someone call them raiders after they gave up trying to do mercenary work and just started looting.

There's also their stories they tell each other and some of the idle dialogue makes it clear they're no longer complete psychopaths like in 3 and they usually dislike killing for nothing. Hell, even Wolfgang is more or less a raider and the guy is actually quite honest and straight forward.
Wasn't it the same in New Vegas ? I don't remember being able to skip any part of the MQ after you get to Benny (everything before that is skippable).
You can skip straight to Benny, a good chunk of the main quest already gone Then you can skip all the entire "get to know the factions" segments and go straight to the fort and then skip everything else and start the hoover dam battle Like i said before, the only two things that you have to do in New Vegas is deal with Benny one way or another and fighting the Hoover Dam battle. Everything else can be skipped if you're not feeling like it

this is what a 288 hour playthrough got me condensed into a tiny room of items and power armor frames. any frames inside are owned, outside are stolen. the small cabinet with the empty picture frame on it is full of so many items it lags my PC when i hover over it. the 3 BOS suits are from the prydwen. there are more owned/stolen suits ive found but havent brought them back. also ive explored pretty much everywhere and am still missing 6-8 bobbleheads and 10 or so comics. also missing 2 eddie winter holo tapes. There were a few factions like that in New Vegas too, but hell even the Fiends you could talk to their leader.
any method to place a Water purifier on the ground other than the Place in Red mod?
Settlement defense should not be a fucking misc objective. Half the time I only notice my people are under attack because it tells me I've failed to defend them. Ought to be a proper quest, with a pop-up like the others have.
After I got [sp]gave curie a new body[/sp] I put her in my t51 and sent her to sanctuary. When I went there to meet up with her all she had left was the helmet in her inventory. FML

Everyone who learns you're from a vault mentions it, wearing a pipboy is a death sentence and the protag is either very courageous or completely fucking stupid for insisting on wearing his own, since that's exactly why you keep getting attacked left and right. Also you can talk to the leader of the forged although I don't think you can avoid fighting him. Wolfgang is also friendly unless provoked and I have my suspicions Cricket may have been running with the Raiders at some point. [editline]15th December 2015[/editline]
got to the point in the main quest where you have to choose a faction literally can't decide guys. help me. right now i'm ever so slightly inclined to go with [sp]the institute, because i can pretend that if i become their leader i'll change the way they deal with synths[/sp]
If you feel like your character is smart enough to figure out they can [sp]sway their son's decisions to improve the synths way of life, even prior to actually becoming leader of the Institute[/sp], then join them.
Could you do the same with high Charisma?
you can't actually do much of anything, some things are just left vague after the ending is all
I really wish this game was better optimized. I've played for about 21hs, it's a miracle that it runs to begin with and it's an amazing game but it runs so poorly on my rig that it just really halts the flow of the game. I noticed that it's only the city areas that run poorly enough to make me stop playing, but there's tons of shit there and I'm not sure I can keep running around in the wasteland forever. O well

only place i get slowdown is within the institute

O well
I have only experienced lag once. It was for 5 seconds inside a factory. Other than that my game runs like butter. I have a pretty good computer and my fallout is installed on a SSD so there's that. I've had the same thing happen. One time I was walking past oberland station and 2 fucking deathclaws were attacking it. I didn't even get a notification.
Seeing other people call him doggo is weird. At least I'm not alone?
I only called him doggo because you did.
