I don't think anyone particularly minds though. This is pretty amazing work, though, are you a professional modeller?

Fallout 4 goes for this very smooth style for textures with very little noise. The textures you used on the coat and the jeans seem very grainy, which looks good on its own but I don't know if it will look consistent with the rest of the game. I also wanted to ask, do you plan on putting any weight slider compatibility on the model ? The armor looks like it'd fit a thin-muscular kind of character but anyone who's all the way in the beefy scale or fat would suddenly go through some funky looking metamorphosis putting this on.

The mod tools aren't going to come with any model importer or exporter tools, for that we need to wait for the guys who made the .nif plugins to update them for FO4. NifSkope already sort-of works with FO4 so that might not take that long.

Going with a casual game of Institute-Minutemen play. Decided to do the proper theme with all my settlers assigned to the certain departments, guards wearing Courser stuff, etc. Unfortunately have to wait for Robco to get Synths as settlers, but until then this'll do. My uniform plan for now is... SRB/Courser: Guards, random settlers, Shop (Trader) Adv. Syst.: Random settlers, Shop (Weapons, Armor) Engineers: Random Settlers, Shop (Clothing) Robotics: Scavengers (coupled with my Utility Protectrons) BioScience: Farmers, Shop (Medical, Food & Drink) There are so few things you can actually assign settlers to that it's kinda limited how far you can RP their schedules. Since the folks from Concord are my first settlers, I also made them that Settlement's division heads for their respective jobs. If yes, that was specifically left out; while it may have made for some nice visual interest, the lack of holstered weapons, and my opinion that it is not in fact a part of the "pre-war" outfit resulted in its absence. The armor looks like it'd fit a thin-muscular kind of character but anyone who's all the way in the beefy scale or fat would suddenly go through some funky looking metamorphosis putting this on.[/QUOTE] I think you're certainly right about the size of the helmet; as it currently stands, the human head fits rather well within the bounds of the helmet (the facemask is currently removeable), but it does appear to have a good deal of empty space in the top of the head (they have some web insert in helmets I believe, to aid in universal fitment; I should be able to reconcile that with some minor adjustments, shouldn't screw with the normals too much. In regards to weight sliders, that is certainly on the list! As for the textures, this is something I'd like to look into; as is, I've always tried to maintain a similar visual style to what is already present ingame, taking careful consideration not to over-do it in terms of texture quality or polycount. I always want my work to be consistent with the art style layed out by the devs. That being said, I haven't pulled any of the textures out of the game yet, but with your keen eye, I should likely do that tonight before getting too far ahead of myself!

FO4's raiders were definitely a step up from those of previous games, but I wish we'd been able to interact with them in a greater capacity than just shoot 'n loot. Easy City Downs and the Combat Zone come to mind as prime examples, but the various unnamed raider gangs and the Forged could've also benefited from having more characterization and more opportunities for interaction. Maybe Red could've given you a quest to go find out what happened to her sister, or the Forged could've offered you a place in their ranks, or something like that. They wouldn't have to dispense with their violent tendencies entirely, just give you a chance to talk before shooting.

Born ghouls,the thinks tank,the religious ghoul .. i think it was supposed to be a fallout on the same vein as fallout 2. Persuasion and Disuasion looked like some amazing skills and made sense actually.
