it might be cool to be able to proc into perks you don't have the special requirement to use, but they don't take affect until you have that value. Just for people who live inside power armor or stat+ legendaries or something.
You know what i'd like to see? a flashlight modification for weps that replaces the pipboy light.

At least that's what I've noticed.

It would be nice if you could do special attacks with power attack + hold direction. Unless you actually already can do that. Never used big melee weapons long enough to test. [editline]t[/editline] For instance, hold power + back with a baseball bat to do a bunt that knocks enemies down, or hold power + left/right with a super sledge to perform a huge 360 spin.

There are models in the game files for 3 different sizes of "Gun Headlamps". All of the models are just ripped from a power armour helmet, though (the T45 I believe). Because of that, none of the models actually fit any of the weapons properly. I'm assuming that there must be a reason for Bethesda to have not included them as mods, seeing as they didn't get any further than what are essentially placeholder models. My guess would be issues with having lights shining from guns (and having it properly follow the gun as it moves around), but it's not really something I ever looked into in detail.

If you're above the proper level cap it'll spawn, and I'm fairly certain that unlike other spawn points in the game, it'll [I]always[/I] be a t-51 if available.

The light on that has a very small range of movement, and is largely just confined to the direction you're looking (from a quick test I just did), whereas guns have a lot of animations that would move it around. Plus, there's the fact that guns are held differently in first person and third person, so the light wouldn't even be consistent there. I would like to at least see what the problems with having lights on a gun would be, if not properly reimplement the mods, but I don't think that FO4Edit is enough for that.

Wallace sounds fun, but I probably don't have the right voice for him. I have a medium, somewhat youthful-sounding tone with good range to the highs but some drone in the lows (I'm working on that). I can recite lines quite quickly with a bit of material practice though, if that's of any value for any of the characters mentioned. [editline]t[/editline] Maybe Stoat would be a better fit. I could probably pull off mildly unhinged late teen. :v:
I like the idea of voice acting. But I absolutely hate how my voice sounds on recorded devices. I crash if I try going on the Prydwen. Looks like today is the day the Brotherhood dies.
I get Sheogorath vibes from Stoat. Maybe once I get a new mic this Christmas I'll give a few characters a shot, assuming they aren't all taken by that point.

My mic isn't the best but it's good I guess. It's the main reason I was considering Wallace, under the assumption it'd be run through a helmet filter anyway.

I have done a few sound recording projects of my own before and I am lucky to have a few pretty high quality microphones. I also know a thing or two about recording environment. I dunno, I never really thought my voice was one someone would want to use though.

mmk there either needs to be a mod where only the perk picture your mouse hovers over animates or at least a mod that stops all the animations on the perk chart because once you unlock all the perks you also unlock 3 FPS
If there's one thing about mod makers that I don't like, it's that they have their priorities on skin textures fucked, they make nude textures before bothering with non-nude ones, like I wouldn't mind having HD Skin Textures but I would rather not be fucking nude when I'm not wearing armour.
