If there's one thing about mod makers that I don't like, it's that they have their priorities on skin textures fucked, they make nude textures before bothering with non-nude ones, like I wouldn't mind having HD Skin Textures but I would rather not be fucking nude when I'm not wearing armour.
yeah but when are you not wearing armor and looking at your character in 3rd person? Unless that is some forced thing in the game that i haven't experienced yet, but still seems pretty unlikely if not very rare. saying their priority on skin texture is fucked though is disagreeable. Their focus is entirely on skin texture, and not on underwear texture at all. Not like your character is spreading their junk open. They are just naked. Maybe it's cuz I just spent 10 weeks drawing live nude models though, but nude people aren't inherently sexual. And well, if you find nude people offensive I just feel sorry for you. Feeling offended should rarely be the case when seeing the human body in it's natural state.
Haha, yeah i hadn't thought about the npcs. I don't have any of those mods after all.
I installed a mod on Oblivion, I think, that made the skin look better. Didn't really pay much attention to it until I looted some bandit fresh out of the dungeon and got a face full of Khajiit wingwang. I pay more attention to my mods now. [editline]17th December 2015[/editline]
The only move I'm familiar with is the rifle "1-2" bash, but I'm assuming it's similar to all special moves: If your target has low enough health for one single melee to kill, then the special move happens. At least that's what I've noticed.
You actually do have some sort of direct control over those special moves. You have to use a heavy attack while pressing forward into the enemy. I think it applies to bashing with rifles/pistols, too.

I've actually done the '1-2' bash on people with nearly full health, it's like a Critical Hit though, I honestly don't know when it's going to trigger, it just does and I don't mind. [editline]17th December 2015[/editline] Right, as much as I like Homemaker, one of the things lately I don't like is that Radios got moved to Fixtures, like really, Radios, FIXTURES?
Seen someone posted a better sorting with icons, where is it?
Seen someone posted a better sorting with icons, where is it?
Right here http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3644/?
Right here http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3644/?
Does this require another mod? I can't tell from the broken english and when installing, it asks what mod I'm already using. Also, does it work with no dotdotdot?
Does this require another mod? I can't tell from the broken english and when installing, it asks what mod I'm already using. Also, does it work with no dotdotdot?
It doesn't require any other mod but has compatibility files for Better Item Sorting.
I know this comment is probably going to get drowned, but does anyone have any suggestions for decent/underrated Fallout New Vegas NV mods for someone on his 5th play-through, preferably something that spruces up the gameplay or does something different? (Excluding DUST, the reason I gave up my last play-through)
And I'm mostly doing this because I need voice actors!
Always wanted to try this sort of thing, but no idea if my voice is even viable for such things. I guess I can try anyway right? Worth a shot I guess.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5787/? This is a rather excellent looking robotic defences mod, can't wait to see how it improves when the GECK comes out.

Can't wait for the robot creating mod ! We will probably get to create Mister Sentrybot like in the model prop ? :) Gonna install many mods for PA painting and never use them like in every fallout..

(Excluding DUST, the reason I gave up my last play-through)
it would be nice to know what you have already tested apart from DUST PN (if only for the Rebalance module)? Vicious Wastes for the challenge and better throwing stuff so you could try a throwing character? GBMM for better gunplay? apart from Tales of the Burning Sands and Afteschool Special i wouldn't really recommend any quest mod (yup, even someguy stuff - i know some people like it but i find them quite... overrated) but there are plenty of little gems that make the base game more enjoyable
you know what would be cool a 'sentient power armor' follower as in a walking empty power armor but you can go inside it should you need its protection companion dialogue would be weird though :v 'I need to go inside you'

For some reason I just can't stand the male protagonist voice, it feels so uninspired, fake and like he doesn't even care. Here's a guy who lost his wife, child and his entire life but when speaking to Codsworth and mentioning all of that he sounds like it's more of a major inconvenience to him. "Oh man, they totally destroyed the world by nuclear fire....Awhh man..bummer" :unimpressed:
Wasn't there a film based around the concept of a set of sentient alien power armour that some kid manages to get himself locked in?
it was a shower thought but it does sound familiar
Wasn't there a film based around the concept of a set of sentient alien power armour that some kid manages to get himself locked in?
I vaguely remember this, wasn't it full of Christmas lights and pink slime?
I found this now it sounds less exciting :v:

God.. Looking at two mods which "needs" updating, and about 10 other mods that "needs" downloading.. When does this urge & need for mods end?

I sound like a teenager so I can't really pull off a gruff, power armored BoS dude. But I feel like I can pull off a ghoul pretty well.

Him getting an upgrade to something more suited to fights than housekeeping would make sense for his character (he wants to help any way he can) and it would be a pretty cool character development. I don't really like how only a few of the companions seem to have a quest when you get high enough approval. [sp]Nick, MacCready, Curie, Cait, and perhaps Danse counts as you can only romance him after you do Blind Betrayal[/sp]. They're good opportunities for a more thorough exploration of that companion.

When Skyrim came out, how fast did mods start coming out? Or rather, at what pace.. Skyrim is currently sitting at 45k files on nexus, while FO4 is sitting at 5k while we're what, 6 weeks in or..? So, how many mods did Skyrim have 6 weeks in to the launch? If by some miracle someone knows.

Earliest nexusmods.com image from wayback dates to 24 January 2012, so approximately 10-11 weeks. At this point, Skyrim had 5697 mods.
