I did the U.S.S. Constitution quest today,[sp]aka one of the least fun multistage fetch quests ever, that culminates with the robots sometimes shooting you for no reason on the deck at the end[/sp] [editline]4th December 2015[/editline] And I didn't even get the cool hat!
DeEz and redBadger can you guys add me on Steam? I'm away from my PC for about 30 hours haha. Anyone else interested in working on GECK content can too :)
Added. I go by another name on steam though. Same avatar.
Also, I made my armor vendor the most patriotic person in the commonwealth: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/392174347969254386/FE9C8F0625BA5E72B1A1F01D59419E909A3EC14E/[/t]
Ah yes, a fellow militarized T-51B patriot [t]http://i.imgur.com/D1SxmmC.jpg[/t]
It took me murdering three Scribes for anyone on the Prydwyn to care.
It wasn't just "some crap", the courier traveled all over the NCR and had a earned reputation, which isn't something you get over night and probably took years to earn, on top of that they [sp]unknowingly nuked a town[/sp], Lonesome Road just shits all over a lot of people's RP characters, especially if they're RPing as someone young or inexperienced. There are also hints laid out all over the game and DLC that fill in the Courier's backstory further.
There's nothing in Lonesome Road about the Courier having a reputation, and [sp]"nuking a town"[/sp] was literally dropping off a package that looked like any other and leaving. You do realise the guy who tells you all about what happened is a) angry with himself over his past failures and projecting them on to you, b) obsessed with the old world to the point of fetishising it, c) so obsessed with you that he blows everything you do out of proportion, and d) fucking crazy. Right?
I don't know if this is a mod related issue, but whenever I start a new file and get to the point where you find a pipboy and equip it, the pipboy shows up as an equipped item in my inventory And if I unequip it, it disappears from my arm and all I see is my character's bare wrist when I press Tab :v:
I had same problem when I started my Melee Character. You gotta disable More Armor Slots mod before you get the pipboy, once you have it then add the mod again.
Tony just joined the Brotherhood of Steel after more than a month of wandering the wastes. Shaved his disgusting hobo beard, cleaned up his face, and tied his hair up. The scars on his face are also healing up.
It took me murdering three Scribes for anyone on the Prydwyn to care.
i took me 10 shots at quinlan's pet cat to get the prydwyn hostile
Is life really worth living if you're not high on psycho at all times?
I didn't say get rid of psycho, I said get rid of the psycho addiction. No way I'm ever stopping the drug-fueled killing, I just have to be a bit more careful with when I stab myself to punch harder :v:
The deathclaws have learned to bend the fabric of space. They are the only faction to surpass the Institute in terms of technological advancement. It's a cool place to explore.
Is life really worth living if you're not high on psycho at all times?
i loved buffjet and psychojet they are both very viable "fuck you buddy" drugs, if only you could combine all them into one super-drug like psycho, buffout, jet, medx
i loved buffjet and psychojet they are both very viable "fuck you buddy" drugs, if only you could combine all them into one super-drug like psycho, buffout, jet, medx
No, you combine the superdrug in you. You just have to take all the varieties at the same time. Don't worry you'll be fiiiine.
No, you combine the superdrug in you. You just have to take all the varieties at the same time. Don't worry you'll be fiiiine.
Basically how I played NV, I always jacked up science and survival and turned myself into a drug fueled killing machine.
Basically how I played NV, I always jacked up science and survival and turned myself into a drug fueled killing machine.
I could never use the drugs because I'd always want to hoard them for that last moment of the game to go all out with the literal big guns.

Right?
It really baffles me how people take the lunatic rants from Ulysses so seriously to imply this "forced backstory" in the courier when the whole point of Ulysses is that he's freaking nuts I don't even like Lonesome Road but i guess this is another good point for Obsidian's writing when they can convince people even when a deranged man is crying all his fantasies and blaming someone else for his own mistakes and omissions. The Courier never nuked anything, he made a delivery. Because he is, you know, a courier. That's what he does. And if you want to roleplay that yes, your courier was a mad bastard that nuked an entire town just for shits and giggles you can just agree with Ulysses and prove his point, or you can disagree and just show how desperate he is to pin the blame on someone else. Having this choice and freedom of choice is the entire point of roleplaying and should (because they sure aren't anymore) be the point of RPG games too
I could never use the drugs because I'd always want to hoard them for that last moment of the game to go all out with the literal big guns.
I just made loads and was buddies with the Khans, wasn't hard to get so many that you were able to juice up for any tough fight.

I've only used drugs in a fallout game twice, ever. Took mentats in FO2 to pass an intelligence requirement, and got addicted to buffout in FO3's The Pitt because I had nothing else to fix my dire health situation.
Forgot to take some med-x too, just because God i love Day Tripper
Why would I need med-x when enemies don't have enough time to hurt me?
I've only used drugs in a fallout game twice, ever. You're no fun at all
Why would I need med-x when enemies don't have enough time to hurt me?
because DRUGS you would take your med-x with alcohol too just because you can no wonder our brain refuses to return in OWB
In Fallout 3 and New Vegas the only drugs I ever used were Mentats and Buffout, I never bothered to even carry other drugs. In Fallout 4 they're so useful I keep 2 of each on hand just in case I run into something nasty.
In Fallout 3 and New Vegas the only drugs I ever used were Mentats and Buffout, I never bothered to even carry other drugs.
I don't remember never having some ant nectar or alcohol with me to help raise my carry weight when i wanted to loot a lot of stuff. Never used the AP raising stuff because i dont use VATS
I'd use chems more if addiction weren't such a huge pain in the ass.
it really wasnt though? i mean, plenty of doctors could fix you up and it was cheap. and its not like you were going to pop drugs once and never use it again also you even had a way to remove addiction any time you wanted in your F3 house if anything i never used fixers because i hate that goddamn effect
I'd use chems more if addiction weren't such a huge pain in the ass. From what I understand it's not as aggravating in 4 due to plentiful fixer, but still.
You never got drunk and tried to talk your way into the brothel in Reno?
