do you have head problems? Literally the only thing I'm saying is that people have been firing pistols one handed longer than not, so a one-handed pistol stance in a videogame would not be unrealistic.
And I'm saying that one handed pistol stance is impractical with the recoil of a gun you simpleton.
Wasn't the point of most of the people on this thread a few pages back that only two handed pistol handling was acceptable because it is the current standard ?
Not, it's because it's far more practical to use two hands to handle recoil than one hand.
Anything that was a "standard" in firearms that isnt used anymore was only really standard because they didnt know better. It was the "standard" in the late 1800's for military rifles to have a magazine, but have a cutoff so the soldier in question only single loaded rounds until he "needed" to use the magazine. That doesn't make it a good idea by any means though. Because that was the standard at one time does not mean its a good idea or a smart practice
Do +15 fire damage weapons work as per-hit or just any hit does 15 ignite damage?
Like is a fire shotgun way more significant because of multiple bullets because of this
yes to the shotgun thing
same with explosive and radiation legendary modifiers
fire, radiation, and explosive shotgun are the end-all weapons that fuck the game balance to a point of being a game for toddlers
thanks
Yeah, I had to get a weapon re-balance mod ever since I got Overseer's Guardian lmao

Found a tuxedo and some t51 pieces, for some reason all the power armor I'm finding is missing the right arm and leg.

Nice, that's the first mod that I just instantly install without any second thoughts. Gotta love Fallout's modding community - mod tools or no mod tools, people manage to release awesome things.
So for some reason my game is crashing a couple seconds after starting up, no matter what. I tried disabling all mods, even tried removing my saves in case they were corrupt, and tried fucking around with INI settings, unsure what else could be the cause. Any ideas? I'm not on the beta update.
Edit: Even tried renaming my INIs and having the game re-make them from scratch, still nothing. Wat.
What's a good way to make a pseudo streetlight post for settlements?
think a pic was posted here a pages back, cant find it though
Do I really need local leader just to be able to do some serious work on the castle?
There's like nothing to scavenge there, and I need tons of concrete and wood (which are in the workbench at the filling station)

Local Leader, get cement shipment from Robo-garden, or get a mod that unlocks it

Add in some Slavic actors and we have STALKER 2
sigh
More Armor Slots for Fallout 4 was updated just yesterday, anyone tried it yet?
Gotta try it myself soon to see if more armor pieces are now visible on certain outfits

I used a basketball hoop and stuck a lightbulb on the rim with a conduit on the back, looks ridiculous but it works, unless you're at the Castle or Spectacle Island where for whatever reason lightbulbs give off so little light you'd think they were still off. :v:
Okay, so apparently my PC CPU didn't get fried. Was a matter of switching around a cable, and now it's working. More Fallout woohoo, with my all shitty PC and shadow resolution at 8.
I hope they're conscious of the fact that the only end-game to do (besides new character) is fucking stocking and winning at Settlements.
I hope the first DLC is something that challenges player's characters who have the full X-01, who have full legendary loadout, who are lvl 58+

How are mid-players supposed to tackle it then? Or will it be like Broken Steel type DLC? Even then they might now have the stuff you specified. Some players rush the MQ and come out at like lvl 25-30. I myself don't find a great use for power armor, so making power armor an absolute requirement would most likely end horribly. That's what I get out of your message, if I'm mistaken, you're free to correct me.
So this guy I know is telling me that "the GECK is obsolete" (this is for FO4, mind you) and that "FO4Edit is a new modding tool being spread that was two modding tools from New Vegas put together into one super tool that took them a week to move to Fallout 4" and is "making the GECK useless". He goes on to say "FO4Edit can be used to inject core files." and "There are already big mods being done."
Is there any legitimacy whatsoever to this, because it sounds like bullshit to me.

If you're not against using console commands, using the tgm (Toggle God Mode) command gives you infinite resources for building stuff in settlements while it's active.

I'm not a modder in any way but plenty of author seem to add a comment "will update more when geck comes out" or smth

Cool, that's gonna be useful when lacking 1 material for some building.

Fuck, I never realized the laser musket cranks were cumulative power, I thought it was just a backlog of extra shots.
I've been scoffing at every legendary laser musket I've found, but now it's apparent that the thing aint that far off from a gauss rifle in terms of per-shot damage.

*distant* "...yer tyed 2 this place kid, yer energee..."
Explosive shotgun + Rifleman max. lv. + Ninja perk lv.3 + Sandman lv. 3 + Bloody Mess lv.3 + Demo Expert lv. 4 = "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"
It's so OP that it's amazingly fun to use against enemies, specifically groups of ghouls, but at the same time makes combat nothing but a bump in the road.
Capable of destroying groups of ghouls charging at you? Check. Deathclaws? No biggie. Supermutants far away? Shower the area with 5 or 6 shells, creating a thousand explosions, then loot the bits scattered all over a hundred meter radius.
That said, power armor is an absolute must, so I don't get blown to pieces if I end up shooting point blank at something by mistake.
So I turned my AA down from TAA to FXAA and surprisingly I thought it made everything look better. TAA made things too soft, with FXAA I like how sharp things look, although its at the expense of the occasional line being more jagged than TAA.
It also helps my performance a little, and in most circumstances there isnt much of a difference.

Im actually really surprised how good the game still looks with medium-high settings, got performance such that I am getting 50fps right in the performance-draining part of the city.

Who the fuck cares mate.
I have to remind you, you are talking about the game where there are drugs that magically make you strong enough to personally wrestle down huge mutant abominations with your bare hands. That's not very realistic, neither is the fact that fucking everyone can survive 12 gauge buckshot directly to the face.
So the argument that it's unrealistic or impractical is pretty much worth bugger all.
On the other hand, the argument for having one handed pistols and sawn off shotguns has...

out of context, but god damn does that image work so well when you have a double barrel shotgun that shoots explosive rounds. literally THE BOOMSTICK.
ghouls hiding in the water? mirelurk eggs? raiders hiding behind shit? super mutant suiciders running at you? frag mines everywhere? NOPE
