found out that in Diamond City, after solving a case for Nick, [sp]you can never get plastic surgery again[/sp] Oh well, console to the rescue. time to be Carey Mulligan [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/642124127281195195/5BF95CD36619E54B0401A3B0465B9F2C2CB2F51C/[/t]
Yes you can. [editline]3rd December 2015[/editline]
You'd figure they learned their lesson after NV. Pass/fail speech checks are far better than X% chance of success. If nothing else, it meant no more saving before talking to major characters and reloading constantly until you passed. That shit was the worst in FO3.
Didn't NV have % based speech checks too?
Didn't NV have % based speech checks too?
It had something like this: > Sure thing, here you go. > Afraid not, it's mine. > [Speech 46/50] Only if I get paid. > [Barter 35] How about a trade instead? If you pick an option you don't have the requisite stat level for, it falls to a very, VERY tiny chance of success based solely on luck, otherwise it fails.

Man the third rank of intimidation is pretty much the ultimate end-game perk. Enlist legendary enemies to fight beside you until you tire of them, make them don a dress and pompadour wig and then demand they walk into a minefield.

Went with that one farm with the railroad tower since it's nice and central to the map, and built this. Dear god concrete is in short supply for being in the middle of a wasteland filled with ruined buildings and roads. I think for this character any future settlements will follow a similar doctrine: just build a super-fortified watchtower and put all the bitch-ass fedora wearing helots to work in the mutfruit plantations outside the walls so the super mutant attacks can make them strong enough to deserve citizenship.
"yes, fight for your freedom" [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/vHlFlf.gif[/t]
Is that... Preston?
Nah, it's a raider. Basically the final rank of intimidation just turns pacified enemies into temporary followers. Temporary because the second you "holster" your gun down they go hostile again :/
"yes, fight for your freedom"
I love those little moves companions do. Was just playing a few minutes ago and Curie kicked a guy in the kneecap and knocked him down.
I love those little moves companions do. Was just playing a few minutes ago and Curie kicked a guy in the kneecap and knocked him down.
You can actually do them too, but they only work in third person.
well I was working on a new thread so here take these two items I was working on you can add to OP, you can quote and then you'll see the code. One is a link to the mods, and another is a link to the perk chart, I made graphics for it and all. [t]http://i.imgur.com/d9f3ic3.jpg[/t]
when i saw your post in the previous thread i thought "i just know he's going to try to link to orcz.com" lo and behold, you did are you an admin on that website or something? because you are constantly trying to push it on everyone when it's pretty much always inferior to the dedicated wikia for whatever the game in question is

[editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] you know how sick this would look with sporadic strings of lights from wall to wall
I'm just happy obsidian is already doing research for the next fallout game New Orleans better have a fucking House of the Rising Sun reference.
Where'd you hear that?
-snip-
Danse/BoS Spoilers (Blind Betrayal) [sp]Fucking awfully designed quest. Why the fuck can only Charisma characters get through this without killing your best friend. Seriously, in NV or even FO3 there'd be options you could take other than just having 10 fucking char, like say having high science/perception and using that as an alternative persuasion method, or having it based off whether Danse has maximum affection. Really retarded how the game is pretty much a constant railroad of 'fuck you eat shit' unless you max out your charisma[/sp] /vent Also [sp]is he meant to be naked?[/sp] EDIT:[sp] And then they force you to become hostile to the railroad with literally no option. What the fuck are you doing bethesda.[/sp]
A friend's recording. The music really makes it for me.
So um. Since fusion cores count as ammo, they get multiplied by scavenger if spawned in containers. I opened a safe and got nine of them. Nine. Of them.
I'm just happy obsidian is already doing research for the next fallout game New Orleans better have a fucking House of the Rising Sun reference.
If they do a New Orleans game they need 1. Confederate equivalent of the Minutemen based in Lee Circle, as I said. 2. At least 3 Leadbelly songs 3. A jazz/blues singer named Jivin' Jimmy Jefferson running the radio.
Game is just as full of 'fuck you eat shit' if your charisma is maxed I can literally count the times having high charisma has actually had any effect on a quest beyond "gib moar moni" on one hand.
Don't forget you need it up pretty high for full settlement stuff.
Don't forget you need it up pretty high for full settlement stuff.
Barely bothered with it to be honest. It didn't take more than an hour before it felt hollow. Just not much to it mechanically, and even less story or character wise.
Well, if you want more settlers, then yeah you need more charisma. In fact, you can get 41 settlers with a base Charisma of 10, the Charisma bobblehead, Summer Shorts, 4x 'Sharp' (Legendary) armor pieces, Charisma-boosting hat and glasses, Grape Mentats, Beer with the Party Boy level 2 perk, Day Tripper and X-cell. [editline]3rd December 2015[/editline] :v:
Isn't the entire point of the charisma path "I'd rather do something other than fight"? Speech checks bypass hostility and benefit you directly, settlements can generate huge amounts of resources so you don't have to fight for it, and even in the settlements you never have to engage in their defense yourself if you build a strong enough wall with enough guns on top of it. Pacify enemies and have them fight for you, make companions stronger in combat than you, the list goes on. Where it falls short in FO4 is the fact the story turns out worse if you don't have high enough charisma. Certain people HAVE to die if you don't (or if you don't reload a save fifty times bruteforcing a good result). Other than that, charisma does exactly what you'd expect in the way of perks. "I don't feel like fighting, I'll just build stuff and have other people do the dirty work instead."
A friend's recording. The music really makes it for me.
It seems their world is also being invaded by Dogmeat.
Bethesda isn't even technically finished with Fallout 4 yet, I don't see why people were under the impression Obsidian even could be working on it right now. They probably will make one but I doubt you'd see it in 2016. [editline]3rd December 2015[/editline] Sucks that you'd have to wade through a bunch of boring BoS bullshit to discover what happens to [sp]Danse[/sp]. I just couldn't bear doing anymore missions for them, started the point where you [sp]kill the Prydwen[/sp] and [sp]Danse[/sp] is pretty much removed now. When I TP to him with console commands I just end up at the BoS Police station with a bunch of angry knights. Not even there at all.
