I finished the game with the Minutemen. [sp]How do I get the Brotherhood to be hostile to me so I can take them down next?[/sp]

True weather is so annoying sometimes. I wish rain didn't last two fucking days

Speaking of companion likes/dislikes, I'm a little confused about Cait.
Minor Cait backstory spoilers:
[sp]She "fucking hates" Psycho because it's an addictive substance that's making her sick and she can't go a day without it, but she "likes" when I inject myself with it, hit some jet, slam 3 alchoholic beverages, and pop some pills.[/sp]
It seems a little inconsistent.
[editline]a[/editline]
Not that I'm complaining, I have to chug a beer and put on that one dress to pass charisma checks anyway, so I don't mind having a bonus "Cait liked that" every time.
do her quest

[sp]If you side with Minutemen the only other faction that gets destroyed is The Institute[/sp]?

Actually no, you can totally take on the BoS with a Minutemen ending.
[sp]In fact you get to shoot down the Prydwen with fucking airstrikes from canons.[/sp]

Basically go kill a bunch of Brotherhood soldiers.

Just go shoot the place up?
I don't agree a lot with the BOS ideals but damn, they're the coolest faction. I like the whole undercover theme the railroad have and Deacon is a cool dude too, but damn the prydwen is sweet. Lets see what the institute has when I get there.
Thanks. [sp]I just wiped out Danse and the others at the Cambridge Police Station and that did the trick.[/sp] FYI, you need to talk to Preston in order to get the quest, it doesn't come up immediately.
It's amazing to me how much time I can pour into settlements.
Anyone know where I can get wood shipments? My workshops look like a Fry's warehouse but I'm having trouble with base materials
Abernathy Farm and GrayGarden. They're close to each other and both sell Wood (50), Concrete (50), Cloth (25), Leather (25) and Fertilizer (25x2). Honestly though, you might consider sacrificing fusion cores to the dark gods at some point, in exchange for just using tgm to give yourself infinite wood. Because once you run out of trees to scrap everywhere, it takes fucking ages to get a decent amount of wood again.
I know that robot in diamond city at night sells 4 shipments of 100 steel though, so that's pretty decent.
Outpost Zimonja should have like 5-7 settlers top yet somehow I have fucking 19 people there.
That's more than fucking Sanctuary.
If you go into workship build mode, you can move those settlers to somewhere else, Sanctuary for example. I got Sanctuary to twenty by filtering people from Red Rocket to there.
A couple of pages back someone was talking about not being able to make interior staircases without using that one big ass floor piece that has one built in. If you use the small floors, then that staircase with small platforms at the top and bottom will actually snap to them properly.
boy was this game's story written for you
I'm not talking about story at all though, I'm talking about the places the factions have.
Man I just recently got to the Glowing Sea. So atmospheric going in there without the radio on. I have to say, though, [sp]I thought it was actually going to be a mass expanse of glowing water.[/sp] Shit, I think too literal some times. But imagine drudging along the bottom of a radioactive ocean in power armor, fending off horrible sea monsters with barely any light, with but a harpoon gun for protection.

found one at the swatter shop too!
Finally started building up Sanctuary, thought this was a clever place to put the flag.

Not going to lie, now that I know who lives in Sanctuary I just avoided the minutemen like the plague and now I'm building a small little community at the place you meet [sp]Phyllis Daily[/sp]
Hell, it's probably one of the most defensible places I can think of, since it only has 3 sides it can be attacked from and there's a lake on the one it can't for water purifiers.
making individual videos for anything weird/funny would be annoying so I made a compiliation

0:21 how did you do that?
[editline]7th December 2015[/editline]
I once saw two npcs throwing themselves like that and flew meters while doing that to each other at same time.
Man I just recently got to the Glowing Sea. So atmospheric going in there without the radio on. I did too, to be honest. I was intent on making my way to the southeast corner of the map by way of following the map's west and then south boundaries in anticipation of finding a large radioactive ocean when I found [sp]the actual Glowing Sea[/sp] and mentioned it to a Steam friend who said "yeah, no, that's actually it"
The bastards hyped me up way too high for the amount of rad protection I would need. Admitedly I was in a power armor suit but even so It didn't feel that dangerous. Maybe its just because of the standard difficulty I use on all of my first runs.

I did that and put wall lights on each post so the sign is lit up at night.
if it was actually glowing it'd be cooler
[editline]6th December 2015[/editline]
they were a bit weird before i modded them, the normal map is fucky
The normal map for the default eyes is inverted and really soft for some reason.

Power attack/gun bash I think. It's random. I know you can do it to counter attack enemies that try to melee you.

Honestly I thought it was gonna be a huge, irradiated body of water too.
what. "...takes the lacking eye textures and..."

I was a bit disappointed that the only actually bright eyes there available are the ones where your character has cataracts.
Even the light blue eyes are stupidly dark for some reason.
For some reason Preston-Senpai keeps getting down with no reason.
There was a time I was talking with him, he said "Thanks for listening...." then he suddenly fell down to the ground.Sometime he was just collecting crops and suddenly he fell down to ground.
I have a video of it , unfortunately I can't find any site which hosts Webm videos so I can't show you.

Update: I think I'm done
I'm probably very late on this, but the high scores on the Rec Terminal in Vault 111 are all console commands except one.
Does anyone else have it with Power Armour, that every material mod but Military, Vault Tech and the other couple of unique ones, keeps the colour looking rusty and shit? I found a full set of X-01 Armour at the South Boston Checkpoint and unless I want to go with Military Green or Vault Tech Blue, instead of the Prism Coating which I want to actually use, I'm stuck with this rusty shite.

Upgrade the model to anything other than the first one?
[editline]6th December 2015[/editline]
Is The Glowing Sea the toughest area? I'm looking for a fight
Danse Spoiler: [sp] Is anyone else slighty disappointed by post-blind betrayal Danse? Besides the X-01 power armor and the Brotherhood shooting at him he is pretty much the same. He talks and acts like he is still in the Brotherhood.[/sp]
