One of the wasted potential things in fo4 that got on my nerves was after completing Curtain Call and visiting the WRVR station [sp]and there's fuck all to do there, the folks talk about their radio plays but you can't extend the radio antenna on the roof to hear them, there could have at least been another quest to do that.[/sp]

While Curie is a very interesting companion, apparently stats wise she's the worst. And her combat A.I is still based on her being a Miss. Nanny despite - curie quest spoilers here - [sp]being turned into a Synth[/sp] so that hampers her combat skills even more than normal companions.
well the game's easy as balls already, her being bad at combat is not at all an issue
Oh I know, I just thought it was an interesting and fitting move by Bethesda, that her combat A.I doesn't change.
Why is happiness in Sanctuary always going down despite the plentiful food and water and beds and everything? FUCK JUST BE HAPPY!

Going back to the area will show the right amount but you're happiness would have dropped from no food/water.
wow, so this explains why everyone is standing outside on the street for me then :v:
Oh wait that causes that too? I always wondered why every time I go to Sanctuary my settlers keep having party at certain location. [editline]7th December 2015[/editline] I even used TCL to merge 2 picnic tables together and every night they all sit over there and have a chat.
I miss running into kill squads sent by factions that I really pissed off.
pretty much everybody killed off a few legionaries travelling to new vegas and then got torn apart by centurions at level 7 or so.
The game just updated for me (not in beta). Are there patch notes anywhere?
If you're using mods don't update the game. It seems to semi-break modsupport. Basically the hidden modselector on the launcher is gone and everytime you run through NMM the mods get deactivated when the launcher pops up, dunno what's going on atm. Re-enabling modsupport through the ini files doesn't seem to do anything since the launcher disables the mods every time.

I'm using the optimized texture stuff, and also the quiet Idiot Savant.
What about stuff like texture replacements? I'm using the optimized texture stuff, and also the quiet Idiot Savant.
Seems like texture stuff seems to be fine, my texture replacements seem to have stuck. And the Full dialogue interface is still working, even after the update. [editline]edit[/editline] Then again most of the older texture mods I use edit the Ini to work, so I'm not sure if ESP versions might continue to work.
The easiest way to get around the mods being disabled is to use the F4SE launcher. It skips the standard Fallout 4 launcher, so mods won't be disabled when launching the game.

Also here is another workaround for mods, if for some reason you can't get the first workaround to work. https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3vswbq/new_fallout_4_patch_requires_workaround_to_use/
Fallout 4 in a nutshell. Combat Zone. FMS Northern Star. Vault 95. Sunshine Tidings Co-op. Most of the relay towers. Drumlin Diner. (I wanted to help cure the chem addiction damn it) Just off the top of my head, these are places that had really cool things and little to no actual content. Combat Zone being the worst of them all. A fighting pit that advertises all over the place and then instantly attacks new people would never work. Why are they hostile to you instantly? because you're the player and you need to kill things all the time or you'll get bored and leave.
CombatZone and East City Downs are the biggest examples IMO. Such wasted potential.
I sent Buddy to the island and he just stands in one area, not moving at all. Before he got stuck in the ocean walking to the place. I tried using console commands to move him inside but when I leave and come back he's back to serving drinks in the middle of nowhere
Did Fallout 4 just update for anybody else? My mods have all stopped working because of that, which is somewhat annoying, but hopefully they've fixed stuff.
Did Fallout 4 just update for anybody else? My mods have all stopped working because of that, which is somewhat annoying, but hopefully they've fixed stuff.
Here are the patch notes btw. - General memory and stability improvements - Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant - Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals And you can use either of these two to get mods working again. https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3vswbq/new_fallout_4_patch_requires_workaround_to_use/ 1) Open Nexus Mod Manager 2) Launch your game, wait in the launcher before starting the game. 3) Renable the mods using Nexus Mod Manager 4) Click play Alternatively, you can enable your mods then set C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt to readonly.
If you have a bar they gather near it and drink.
That's because you have a bar. If you have a bar they gather near it and drink.
It happened even when there was nothing, that is why I dedicated it to be shopping area so it would do remoterly even some sense.
