Of course, not long after I say this, there's a [url=http://www.nexusmods.com/games/news/12675/?]news post[/url] detailing what happened.
Essentially, someone had access to a database dump from mid 2013 (with the last user registered July 22nd 2013), so any accounts made after then are safe. Obviously, if you've been using the same password for your account since before then, it'd be a good idea to go change it.
In regards to the account that were accessed, at least one of them (and another unrelated user) had extremely simple passwords, so cracking them was easy.
I feel as though I should be able to grab any stray cats I find and assign them to a settlement.

It would be cool to become involved with a group like that, or other raiders for that matter, as there is a semblance of a story built through the terminals about some of the raider groups with named leaders.

How did you fix the walls exactly ? I recognize that wooden floor with the concrete base under it but how do you make them not collide with the world ?
Does anyone else have problems where companions say "I can't go there" even though they clearly can? I can't even get them to enter Power Armor because "They can't get to that".

In some spots, but because of the "bases" still being present, no.
You can try selecting the destroyed base and enter "disable". If you correctly grabbed the base, it'll disappear, if you didn't click it correctly which can happen, enter "enable" and what just disappeared should reappear. This could help.

Also after you do a disable and you're happy with it, do a MarkForDelete so it doesn't clog up yours save file.
I really do hate how there aren't angled pieces for building with. Fuck boxlandia.

I actually think it wouldve been really cool if they added overgrowth to atleast part of the game. Chernobyl is a fucking paradise right now.

Do you have the link to the mod, unless it is in Homemaker or SSex? My google skills aren't getting me good results.
Also, I've built a small getaway from the wasteland using Homemaker and Ssex.

I might be late on this but I'm studying Native American history and the Indian Removal Act, and I noticed how many parralells to them and the Great Khans. Kind of interesting to think of them like that, with the NCR representing the colonists pushing them off their land.

It just dawned on me that Fallout 2 breaks canon pretty hard.
Apparently gas is a rare commodity, so rare that it starts World War 3, yet the P90 and G11 are in the game even though they use polymer stocks that require petroleum to make. Same with the marksman carbine in New Vegas.
I mean, alternative plastics may exist in small quantities but as the Cambridge Polymer Labs show they are still in the early stages of development.

Which is why people need to stop shoving tacticool rifles like the Marksman Carbine in Fallout.
At least make them out of wood, damnit.
Oh my god. Every single god damn time I download the full dialogue interface mod it crashes my game immediately.
Now I have to uninstall it, and wait till the game reverifies the files.

You start the wall in an area where it isn't clipping into the world, and then use the natural edge-snapping bias that foundation pieces have to partially stick them through things.

The results aren't perfect (you can see a gap up by the top where I had to fake it with a wood floor panel), but they definitely do their job, and are better than huge holes or shoddy fences.
Downside is that your settlers will sometimes walk into them like they're not there. Upside... So will attackers. They'll run right up to the walls and stand there like morons.
Can someone direct me to a knowledge database or tutorial on how to make Craft mods? (Like Custom Chems and the like)
I really want to do something that gives the opportunity to make Curie's better Stimpaks
is it just me, or does fallout 4 disable all custom .esps when you boot up the game? The "secret" ESP load order list is also gone. Hmph, wonder if a patch reset my .inis
edit: nope, guess Bethesda broke modding with a new patch somehow.
Great. F4SE isn't allowing me to workaround the Launcher. It worked a couple hours ago, then I got rid of a texture mod, and now I can't use any mods.

As far as I know, only a tiny portion of worldwide petroleum production goes towards making polymers.
It's said right in the intro to Fallout:

However rare petroleum was, it wasn't rare enough that they couldn't use it for military purposes. So I don't think it's obvious that petroleum's rarity would have precluded the use of polymers for stocks.

Somehow mine got fixed just by opening my inis and closing them, weird.
I exclusively install my mods manually.
Where does this leave me? :v:
