Somehow mine got fixed just by opening my inis and closing them, weird.
Tried that. Still didn't work. God damn this is infuriating.

Just installed another texture mod to see what'd happen, it only loads that. Looks like I gotta reinstall everything.
[editline]8th December 2015[/editline]
I had to disable and re-enable everything wtf
Plastic power armour that's weaker but also incredibly lightweight or something would've been interesting. That or like vat-grown organic shielding, like synthetic augmented rhino hide or armadillo shell or something like that would've also been interesting.
I'd be down for armor that's not exactly powerful but also is solar powered or some shit.

this mod is important
I was walking through the swamps and I saw a glowing radstag in the distance

I'm kinda compelled to get closer to it, but I'm afraid its some Will-o'-the-Wisp shit and it will turn into like a Legendary Deathclaw or something.
which is better?

def touch of green imo, from what I've heard all trees have leaves makes the world look like some vibrant jungle, while touch of green only makes a few things (like the grass) greener.
anyone else find the constant praise for beating a courser sort of annoying, i mean its not like they're that tough, they were pretty stupid in my opinion, getting into a pistol vs rocket fight with me
He killed me like twice and then I went "wait fuck lol I have a missle launcher"

Poor buddy, just wants a drink
Wait what type of robot is that?
Wait what type of robot is that?
Looks like a wierd version of a protectron
So I'm at the max rank of rifleman (single-shot rifles ignore 20% of target armor) and I just found a legendary combat rifle that ignores 30% of a target's energy and ballistic resistances. Time to mod this thing for damage and wreck everything. Definitely masks up for all those nocturnal rolling pins...
Wait what type of robot is that?
A buddy.
It just dawned on me that Fallout 2 breaks canon pretty hard.
Apparently gas is a rare commodity, so rare that it starts World War 3, yet the P90 and G11 are in the game even though they use polymer stocks that require petroleum to make. Same with the marksman carbine in New Vegas.
I mean, alternative plastics may exist in small quantities but as the Cambridge Polymer Labs show they are still in the early stages of development.
you can make a lot of plastics from natural materials even fallout world wouldn't have had a problem with that, they're just not good, as for guns like the p90 or g-11 they are stocks from long before the war, sort of like old nagants are today

i might have been a little overleveled for that fight, idk, the raiders were worse than everything else, i can deal with a dude playing "hey i'ma stealth infront of your bullets!", i can't deal with a dozen molotovs being chucked at my face while i'm stepping on landmines and being shot at
does anyone have tips on building? all my shit comes out uneven and ugly

I was plenty underleveled, he had a skull by his name still.
Anyway, is there any easy way to get food aside from farming shit? My settlement isn't doing fantastically right now.
Finally getting around to a big guns character, and man the minigun is just dog shit, utterly pales in comparison to the gatling laser. Basically need to stand right next to people and unload into their face to get any damage done with it.
Then as it turns out gatling laser efficiency is effected by the nuclear physicist perk, so it can be extremely ammo-efficient late into the game.
[editline]8th December 2015[/editline]
I might just go and get ashmaker or something, this minigun really needs some oomph
Minigun gets good with upgrades and a couple levels of the heavy weapons perk.
Either way it's actually a much better VATS weapon; criticals from an upgraded minigun are devastating.

That paint-job reminds me of boba fett
"Help defend Sanctuary!"
OH FUCK YES, finally a chance to see my settlement defenses in action, if they manage to get past the bridge i'll eat my own dick.
Just let me fast travel there annddddd
10 super mutant butchers spawned INSIDE the fucking settlement really? Just lemme put turrets on top of every fucking house since the walls I put up surrounding the settlement do fuck all.
who was it ages ago talking about aiming a gun cowboy style by the way?

drinking irradiated water without harm, being immune to the physiological effects of alcohol, and exploding someone into a shower of gore by shooting them in the hand with a makeshift .38 pistol is all fine and dandy. but shooting a gun one-handed? fuck you that's unrealistic garbage that doesn't belong in Fallout!
wow hostile much?
i only meant to provide in-universe justification for the new animations
Man, had no idea these lines existed. Love how fleshed out the companion system is compared to 3.
Oh, and spoilers for the compainons.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEo6Q1kYWvw
Man, just fucking look at this video. Actually being able to watch your character TALK to fucking people instead of getting all telepathic on them is insanely good. If the price for that is being locked to 4 lines at a time, I'm still in.
suspension of disbelief, once the characters start looking whacky and crazy and start doing shit in a dumb way it turns from saints row 2 to saints row 3
yeah I don't see how Bloody Mess is supposed to suspend my disbelief

I didn't mean it to be a jab at you specifically, I just think the whole argument was pretty dumb. Sorry if I came off as hostile towards you.
to be fair, if you play as the male at least then his backstory does say he has a proper military training, so I guess he would be more inclined to hold his pistols with two hands.
part of what makes me so salty about the issue is that Skyrim put a lot of emphasis on dual-wielding, and I thought that would carry over to Fallout 4. I inappropriately hyped myself for Fallout 4 having a dual-wield system similar to Halo 2, even though they never once even hinted at that being a possibility.

Dual Wielding DLC with Nolan North voicing a modified protectron companion.
yeah but skyrim is a game with swords and fallout is guns
[editline]7th December 2015[/editline]
dual wielding melee weapons would be fine though

Many historical swords weighed less than 4 pounds, as do many handguns and machine pistols. The only real problem is aiming well with two. I'm sure power armor could handle even bigger guns though.

well like, it doesn't just have to be akimbo pistols like neo from the matricks. even having a sword in one hand and a pistol in the other would be awesome. or having grenades be equipped to one of your hands instead of on a hotkey, for more immersion visually or whatever. there's a lot they could have done with it.
