here's an old pic of my char, I've since added armor pieces and changed the hair (both like 90 levels ago)

I put Marcy in charge of the general store, with her lovely personality she is sure to draw many customers!
A full suit of T-51 always spawns there if you're high enough level, it's pretty neat, especially if its your favorite set.
i'm pretty sure i just found an incomplete t-45
i was level 8 or so
I wish some of the hairstyles from previous FO games returned. I can't remember the names but I liked those really 50s-esque hairdos where a lot of the hair was on the left side in a kind of curtain.
i haven't found power armor in like 60 hours, ever since that military radio signal. i found 4 suits in the very beginning of the game and then never again
X-01 spawns in most places you can find power armor if you're level 35+, alternatively there are two spots that spawn a full set of the stuff which are:
South Boston Military Check Point
35 Court, west of the Custom House Tower
If you visited either of these places before level 35 you're gonna have a slightly harder time getting a full set together.
X-01 MK. I spawns at 28, MK. II at 34 and MK. III at 38.
For anyone who's interested in having a full auto laser shotgun, don't fucking do it, the recoil has me looking at the sky after like 6 shots.
However I will say getting a Two-Shot Laser Rifle then making it a Shotgun is a good idea.
So, is there any fix for Covenant? I beat the story before checking it out, and I was supposed to take some kind of test, but they just let me in willy nilly
I keep finding full sets of X-01 spawning now, kinda annoying, I want more T-51s.

I just realized how a fun a DLC set in a post-Fallout 3 DC would be.
You should be able to go back and find that the Tunnel Snakes are, like, a major street gang or something.
Do yourself a favor. Never, ever fast-travel to west roxbury station

This is actually a good idea because it means you don't have to go through the dialogue, you just hit interact and bam, trade menu
Napalmer is pretty great at clearing out low-level areas you forgot to sweep early on. Range is much longer than you'd think, too.
Not that great otherwise. You use up 1000+ ammo going through three hostile zones. Wish it was feasible to use it as a main weapon because it's fun to use.
One last tip about power armor spawns: Each spawn only works once per game, and it's locked to your level upon first visit, so if you wanted the high level stuff, like X-01, and you somehow visited every spot before level 35, you're sadly out of luck, unless there's a vendor somewhere that sells the stuff.
The 35 Court one is always an X-01 regardless of level, unless they patched it recently.
It seemed a bit buggy, it'll *look* like another set until you get in it, then it turns into an X-01, so I figure it was an oversight.
When I actually bother rebuilding Sanctuary Marcy would usually shut up and just say the place was livable albeit a shithole once happiness was high enough.

I think it would be better (funnier) that the Tunnel Snakes tried to be a real gang but got wiped out super quick by REAL gangs.
Speaking of settlements I wish you could set one of the beds as solely the player's so people would stop sleeping in my own fucking bed

I found a "staggering" flamer which is pretty lethal. Basically you can just mercilessly torch any enemy who gets in front of you as they writhe around and fall down repeatedly, compounds with the big gun staggering perks.
The flamer is sort of meh, but it's a really potent platform for damage-dealing legendary effects. Still hoping I'll find an incendiary flamer :v:

I have a feeling they programmed the settler AI to know where you built your house and only hang out in that area.
I really hope there's a DLC where your wife/husband [sp]is somehow brought back as a companion[/sp]
[sp]mostly because i spent 1,000 hours on my wife's face only for it to have a bullet in it 10 minutes later[/sp]

I am insanely jealous of a friend who found a bleed damage flamer.
Since it hits like 20 times per second, getting caught in the sweep for any amount of time means death.

Crippling Flamer, 20% Chance to Cripple an enemies' limbs, essentially 100% really since you almost instantly cripple an enemies legs without even really using any ammo.
You know, I actually kinda think I'm gonna use the second one for a wallpaper. It's weirdly funny.
t-thanks, did not expect that but good thing I was fullscreen when I took it.
You better go for some unarmed stealth shenanigans
This is my john freeman runthrough so once I get a toque I'll be wearing that. However my third playthrough I do plan on playing as a pre war war chef :v:

I found one while doing a kidnapping mission at the federal ration place.
After many tries I just set up a ton of mines and let the AI do the rest of the work.

Well I think by 4 the DC wasteland is no longer a wasteland and is instead ruled by the Brotherhood, so I more or less meant "drug dealers" instead of raider gang.

I did the exact same thing.
Wow really? I had no idea, thanks for the heads up, I thought it was level based like every other place.
DON'T. It IS leveled, if you're below 28 but above 14 it will be a T-51 or T-60 no matter how many times you fast travel with it or reload the area.
The bug is that it claims the suit is a T-51 or 60, but when you open its inventory it'll correctly show X-01 parts, and fast traveling or saving and reloading will fix the visual bug. If you're not the right level this won't be true, and it will actually be 51 or 60 parts and stay that way forever. This is the only consistent spawn for the X-01, so DON'T WASTE IT.
I visited court 35 twice before level 28, both times the suit was a T-60 no matter what I did, and both times I had to revert to an earlier save to make sure I wasn't stuck with that.
I haven't posted my character in the thread yet I think. Tried to make him and the wife look as much like me and my GF as I could thinking/hoping that [sp]you could have her or shaun as a companion.[/sp] Failed pretty horribly at myself though. v:v:v

There's also this building near the tower where [sp] you find rex and strong[/sp] that totally has a ramp to parkour to a building with a ruined roof across the street. I was really hoping that there would be some sick loot in it, unfortunately there wasn't. Maybe I'll place something there in a mod...
